I cannot even fathom how this book has such good reviews other than lots of bribery. This was hands-down the most ridiculous, unbelievable, poorly written piece of garbage I have ever read.
First of all, these tough, badass bikers are all, “Here, brother, accept this spirit stick and share your feelings.”
And as a single mom myself, don’t even get me started on this mom of the year, not even batting an eyelash when her second biker boyfriend in as many months basically abducts her and her kids. How much Benadryl is she pumping into those kids?? They are always *conveniently* asleep, and never know what’s going on.
Not to mention, this ultimate doormat just accepts being a “cum canal” with lots dudes painting her white while her loving boyfriend is sucked off my someone else while watching. Because, you know, punishment. AND SHE BASICALLY THANKS HIM FOR THIS “LESSON!!”
Speeaking of cum canals, FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING HOLY, SOMEONE GET THIS AUTHOR A THESAURUS!!! I never thought I would have the privilege of seeing the word “cum canal” once, let alone multiple times within a few pages. (And that is not even close to being the only overused word.)

This set includes the first 3 books in the series.
To be honest, it took a bit to get into book one, but once I familiarized myself with the author's writing style and character dialogue, I was good to go. The dialogue between the characters is bit proper - I mean there are some four letter words but not a lot of slang or skipped words.

The title "Pearl's Journey" is actually quite fitting. From the widow to....(you have to read to get the answer to that!) it was certainly a journey. This was certainly not a smooth sailing journey either- there were many rough seas and squalls. You will really feel for Pearl in one scenario, but don't worry - our girl comes out "swinging". While I liked the guys, I think Blaze's maturity made him the stronger male. Tank was too emotional in his reactions.

I loved the BDSM in this book-it wasn't over the top and it certainly was hot! We knew where the characters were emotionally and I like that in a story.

Even though I rated book 1 a 3 star review (hey, that means I liked it!) I would round out the series with a solid 4.5 I am definitely going to be reading more - especially with the bits mentioned in book 3.

This box set takes you on one hell of a ride. It maybe called Pearl's Journey but it was more than that, it was also a journey and acceptance for both Blaze and Tank. Their story is confrontational and at times extremely emotional. At times you will hate the characters and want to throw your Kindle across the room but like all gains sometimes you have to suffer the pain first. Pearl's Journey will keep you guessing and just when you think you have it figured out it takes a sharp turn and you will need to hang on tight.

This was a really beautiful story between two hero's and a heroine. My only problem is that it has a LOT of BDSM in it. Actually too much to my liking. But all together it was a good story. There was not a lot of MC involvement.

On the fence, spoilers ahead

I started reading the first book when it was posted free on Amazon. I did not realize at the time that it ended in a cliffhanger, or else I probably would not have read it to begin with. That being said, I did purchase the box set because I wanted to know the answers to some of the questions posed in book 1.

From the very beginning I noticed that a lot of the dialogue between the main characters seemed very stilted and often unrealistic. (Especially considering that we are dealing with a 20-something biker)

Another problem with the storyline that kept coming up was the indecisiveness and complete turnaround that Pearl seem to have every other chapter. There were instances where she was completely done with the men in her life and wanted to focus on her children but yet when it was time for her to actually do something she became this mindless little submissive disregarding her earlier concerns. At one point Marcus even said that the club would come before their family and the kids (non negotiable) and Pearl agreed. As a mother, this portion really bothered me because it did not seem genuine to the character that the author had been trying to build for us throughout the books.

Another scene that seemed unrealistic was the initial punishment scene that takes place at the dungeon with Tank. None of it made sense to me. On one hand we have the heroes saying that they are in this together it is permanent he doesn't want anybody else, yet he punishes her by making her available to other members in the club. It really made both Tank and Marcus undesirable in my eyes which ended up affecting how I looked at the rest of the book.

Having never read anything from this author I wasn't sure what to expect, but being a lover of the MC genre I was really excited to get my hands on Pearl's Journey a Devil's Iron MC box set featuring Tank's Pearl, Pearl's Blaze and Pearl's Awakening.

These books focused on Pearl, a widowed mother of two young girls. Tank the VP of the Devils Iron MC and Blaze the prez of the same MC. Although this is an MC book, there was very little of the actions and dialogue that I have come to expect from this genre. Instead these books focused on BDSM as the MC owned a BDSM club and both the prez and VP were Doms. Now whilst I have no real issues with reading about BDSM, I struggled with the way Pearl was introduced to the lifestyle and her first interaction at the club.

The story being told throughout these books was initially very fast moving, but then we jumped in time which threw me a little. In parts things were very repetitive and dragged out, but in others things felt a little rushed. Personally I didn't agree with some of the decisions the author took with the story and because of that I found it hard to connect with the main characters, but I did take a shine to Doc and Trip. There were flashes of revenge and retribution for things that happened throughout the book, and they were the bits I enjoyed the most, but sadly overall this story wasn't for me.

This was the first book that I have read by this author and I wasn't really sure what to expect. But I jumped in and decided to see what it was like and I'm glad that I did. This is a box set that contains the first 3 books in the Devils Iron MC Series and this story is about Pearl, Tank, & Blaze. In book one Pearl is dealing with some issues and isn't sure about where her life is going. In book 2 after some of the stuff that went on in book 1 she is trying to deal with getting her life back on track. Then in book 3 Pearl is deciding exactly how she wants her life to end up. Follow Pearl's Journey in books 1-3 of series and you will fall in love with her and the rest of the characters in this story at least I did and I can't wait to read more of this series soon.If you love MC romance with a BDSM theme then add this book to your library and read this story as soon as possible. Warning This book is not intended for anyone under 18 because of the sexual nature, violence and language

Tank’s Pearl:
WOW, what an emotional story. I so loved it. biker and BDSM..Oh, yeah now we are talking. To me this book was more of a dark MC-BDSM romance. So go into reading this book knowing it could have some triggers. 

First let me say how much I hate Layla. I am truly hoping she ends up in a deep hole somewhere. Just saying. Second I am looking forward to seeing what will happen next. Yeah, the author just left me hanging at the end. 

Tank is this hot, young, sexy biker. Listen to the author describe him it will make your mouth water. I found it interesting that he was willing to look beyond Pearl’s age. I loved the chemistry between these two . 

It was good to see Pearl was a woman in her her late 30s. Not to many authors write about older woman and it was very refreshing to see. She was a single mother who had went through a great loss and now was having to struggle. I loved Pearl’s strength. 

To me Tank and Pearl’s relationship did some working on. They lack communication as far as I was concerned. Tank was having to fight for Pearl’s trust and Pearl I feel needs to have times where a woman can freely sit and talk to her man without the fear of being punished. 

In this story I was on an emotional rollercoaster. I cried for Tank and I especially cried for Pearl. What happen to Pearl really broke my heart. 

WOW, let me say I am really confused and intrigued where the author is going to go with Blaze. I really need to read book two. So loving this series so far. 



Pearl’s Blaze:
My mind is going a thousand miles each direction. I love Tank and Peal together but I also love Pearl and Blaze together. I am almost a little nervous to see how it will turn out. 

As you already know for the previous story Blaze has made his claim on Pearl. Don’t get me wrong I love Blaze. He give Pearl something different then Tank. Blaze like Tank is good with the girls as well but there was something in this story that had me questions his loyalty to the girl. There was something Blaze did that I could never see Tank doing. For this I think Tank is better for Pearl. 

Pearl as we know has been beaten and raped. I do feel she jumped the gun really quick when it came to getting with Blaze. She is also having to deal with being pregnant again and not know who the father is. I have to wonder if she will do the right thing and get test results so the real father can be apart of the child’s life.

I loved how protective the club was of Pearl. They have taken her in as their own along with her girls. Her being in danger it was good to see. 

Oh, the drama when Tank showed up. I can only imagine the hurt and betrayal he must of be feeling. Don’t get me wrong, the way he handle the whole situation with Pearl was wrong but I still feel sorry for him. 

I am wondering how things are going to turn out. I guess I am still rooting for Tank and Pearl but I would like Blaze to be a part of their life as well. It will be interesting to see how this is going to turn out.


Pearl Awakening:
I actually loved how this story ended. Oh, Blaze, Tank, and Pearl have had a very long road and have been through so much but it is truly worth it in the end.

I can only imagine the pain that Tank was feeling seeing Pearl and Blaze together. I can not imagine how he was handling things knowing Blaze just step right in and took his place. To feel the pain of knowing that Pearl might not forgive him.

Pearl is defiantly a fire ball. She truly has some sass that is always getting her in trouble. So funny for sure. She was also a very loving and caring mother and I loved that about her. I did not like how she always wanted to run when she just did not want to face something.

Blaze is more of an understanding man then most. I can only imagine what he was feeling when he truly discovered Pearl’s dreams. Most men would of been besides themselves but Blaze truly wanted Pearl’s happiness and that says a lot for his character.

There is danger just around the corner. I am hoping to see revenge in the next book in the series.

Good series!

I thought this was a good series.
Tank: at first I thought he was too dominant and controlling. I actually hated him by the end of the first book. As the series he redeemed himself, but he still wasn't my favorite character.
Pearl: I thought she was kind of a push over in the beginning. She has more of a backbone than I thought though.
Blaze: I loved him from the beginning! By far my favorite character of the series. He is dominant but slightly less in your face about it than Tank was.
The 3 of them together was HOT though!
I'm glad I finally started this series. Now I need to know what happens with Doc and Ember.

If you love hot men and steamy sex you will love this book. If you can't stand BDSM then this book is not for you. You will love parts of this series. You will hate parts of this series but it will have you begging for more of it. It made me cry at times but it will make you love Pearl for who she is.

I am on the fence as to whether or not I will read further in this series. The dialogue was stiff and formal, oddly so at times. It lacked the feel and flow of normal conversation, especially between people who have a deep and intimate relationship. I guess my biggest issue was, is it an MC Romance with a BDSM twist, or a BDSM Romance with an MC twist? Maybe the author couldn't decide and that's why it often feels as if one or the other is a secondary plotline.

This might be the most disgusting piece of trash I've ever read. Tank wasn’t a Dominant. He was just an a$$hole. He was a sadistic, abusive bully. Every time Pearl disagreed with him in even the most minor way, he would punish her. He even punished her for the "thoughts" he could "see in her eyes". The "punishment" scene in the dungeon literally made me feel sick to my stomach. 🤮🤮🤮

Tanks Pearl - The book starts out with Pearl at a bar with her friends in Milwaukee. Tank and some of his brothers show up at the same bar. They're in town for the motorcycle rally. They flirt with their eyes across the bar for several days. Then Tank asks her to go for a ride one evening and she tells him about her husband. As time passes, they get to know one another. He even purposefully shows up just a little early one night with two items in hand. What are they and why does he have them? You really need to read this book, because the BDSM part of things is very artfully written and tastefully done, even the lesson that is taught at the Dungeon was well done. A lesson well taught. This is a new take on an MC book for me. It incorporates not only the typical MC behavior but age difference, some BDSM, and even rape. Though we've seen rape in other books before, not to the extent of what happened here. I started to weep for Pearl when I realized what was happening. Tank however, was not the force behind it, but what he takes from it when he disappears had my blood boiling. Enjoy the read. I cannot wait for Pearl's story to come out in the next book.

Pearl's Blaze - This book starts out with the reminder that Tank walked out after she was set up by Layla to be drugged and have Tank see her having sex with two guys. Pearl is angry that Tank just walked out, leaving her pregnant. Blaze picks up the mantle and looks after Pearl, trying to figure out what happened. Especially since no one can get ahold of Tank. In this second installment of Pearl's story line, we see just what that night of Layla, her brother and the other dumb twit did to her. We watch her struggles, her pain, her anger, her joy, her love, her protective streak about her girls and now the new little one growing inside of her. Where did Tank go? Where do we find him and what do we find him doing? What does Blaze do during Tank's absence? How does the club feel about Pearl and the girls, even though they are nothing to the club? You really need to be prepared to not put this book down once you pick it up. It will keep you on your toes and your eyes wide as you read. There is no falling asleep reading this book! Enjoy it.

Pearl's Awakening - At the start of this third book of the series, we find ourselves in a situation with Pearl that I don't think we could have expected. Is it truly happening? Or is it all just a fantasy, a dream, or a nightmare? We do find out that Tank is back at the club. What does Tank find out when he returns? How does he feel? What happens that has Pearl running, YET AGAIN?!?! How long does it take for the brothers to find her? Where is she? What happens when they show up? One night at the club, Pearl has a scene with Ember, and what happens after that? When Ember goes to leave, what does she say happens in the parking lot? How do they find out who is responsible? Do they find out what was left in her car? What happens when Doc sees Ember? Pearl just cannot keep her nose out of places it doesn't belong and keeps getting herself in trouble for it. It is entertaining to watch the creativity the brothers have to come up with in order to teach her the lessons she needs to learn such as minding her own business. When she cannot let well enough alone, and keeps asking Doc questions, what does he say to her? When they're leaving to go back to Chicago, Pearl is about 7-7.5 months pregnant. What happens? Does she have a boy or a girl? What does she decide she is going to name the child? How do her girls feel about it? What does pearl need to explain to her daughters about the new 'family dynamics' that will be taking place in the house? After her child is born, about 10 weeks later...a date night is planned. What happens? Where do they go? How does the club feel about Pearl you wonder? You will definitely wonder no more. This does end on an HEA.

It was an okay series, but, nothing super exciting. I had problems with the fact that the characters never used contractions in their speech, and many would use the same phrases to describe things. I'll give that the people that had known each other and lived in the same area may use the same phrases, but, it felt weird when the new people that were not part of that group used the same ones, as they were from outside of the area. I know that those are weird things to get hung up on while reading, but, it would have made the characters feel more realistic had they have different speech patterns.

This series is hot, sexy, intense and awesome as h3ll! I loved every minute of them and couldn't get enough! Pearl is sweet, kind and loving! Kind of one of a kind woman really! She has kids and will do whatever it takes to take care of the and be happy! Then she meets sexy biker #1 and omg is he hot but somethings go down and she is left in a situation that would break most woman! But not Pearl she's as strong as they come, but with the help of sexy biker #2 well things just get better and better! That is until sexy as sin bikers 1 and 2 end up being what she wants most, but can she have them!
Great reads that you never want to put down, like ever!

TANK’S PEARL – This is my 1st GM Scherbert book and I really liked the story. Pearl has had a rough run lately and she is a widowed single mom of two little girls. She crosses paths with Tank who is part of the Devil’s Iron MC. He immediately wants more from her, but will she be able to get past her scars. Unfortunately there is a bit of confusing dialogue. The way Tank would order her around was a bit unsettling. Pearl actually seemed quite weak….to be a single mom and basically ‘hook-up’ with a biker didn’t ring true for me. Overall I enjoyed the story although some people are going to really be troubled by the events in the Knight’s clubhouse. The scene was borderline for me. It is critical to the story, but it was unsettling.

PEARL’S BLAZE – This is book 2 in the series and picks up right where book 1 ended. Pearl was just attacked and Tank is missing. Blaze has taken responsibility for protecting Pearl and her kids and also tracking down the people responsible for hurting her. I like the plot, but again the dialogue was a bit rough for me to enjoy. The way Blaze spoke bordered on historical…..just too wordy in my opinion. I was very interested in what happened in the story and with the ending. I think book 3 will be off the charts!

PEARL’S AWAKENING – Picking up where book 2 left off, Pearl is torn between her feelings for Blaze and Tank now that he is back in town. This was a really good read. I liked the angst Pearl felt with her feelings for the two alpha bikers. Unfortunately for me the dialogue still was a bit forced and too formal or awkward. Example: “Especially when she is so far gone with my child.”

Overall I really enjoyed getting the full story of Pearl, Tank and Blaze and loved their angst filled story. I did have a hard time with the dialogue of the male characters and as much as my favorite reads are MC/Alpha, this series missed the mark a bit for me. The dominant aspect seemed too close to abuse for me….maybe the formal speak was just not my thing.

Wow...This boxset had me hooked...Sleep...who needs it???

There really is no way to describe these books for me this is what a good MC book is all about, It had it all and more!!!

Pear is a single mother to 2 girls, them as well as her job as a teacher are her lifeline. Pear has a good support network around her and its on one of her rare kid free weekends that she meets Tank. Almost immediately there is a spark and they embark on a relationship full of kink. Tank is a very demanding and controlling man however he doesn't wish to hurt Pearl he just wants to own her. Trust is one thing this couple are working on and when wires get crossed and Tank witnesses something he doesn't hang around to ask any questions and 2 hearts are broken.

Pearl is alone and scared she has just been through one of the most traumatic things any woman could possibly go through and the man she loves turned around and walked out of her life. Left broken Its the club Prez who helps her pick up the pieces. Blaze has never wanted a woman the way he wants Pearl, he held back since she was with his brother but after recent events and his brothers disappearance he goes after what he wants. Pearl finds herself falling for Blaze,their relationship is very similar to what she had with Tank, kinky, dominant and fast but its working and they are together.

Tank's back and he wants his woman. He is devastated when he finds out Pearl and Blaze are together and he is furious to find out the exact details of what happened the night he walked away. He wants Pearls forgiveness and he wants her back in his bed. Pearl's head is a mess She loves both men, she cant choose between them...so she leaves them both.

Blaze and Tank will do anything to make Pearl happy and keep her safe. But with her wanting both of them they have to sort something out. Both men are open to the possibility of sharing her and being a family but how will this offer go down when they put it to pearl???

This is the first book in the Devil Irons MC series. It is written in first person POV. This one follows 27 year old Abraham (Tank) who is VP of Devils Iron MC & Pearl who is a 37 year old widow & of mother two small children. The premise of the novel had me intrigued. The character's were wonderfully fully fleshed out. Tanks & Pearls story is sexy, hot, & will leave you with a devastating emotional gut as it provides a punch. With twists & turns that you won't see coming to keep you captivated.

This is book 2 in the Devils Iron MC series and continues right where book one ended. The story flows through perfectly from the first book to the next. I could not put it down as it takes you on another roller coaster ride of emotions. I love the supporting characters as they add a nice touch to the story. Looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

This is book 3 in the Devils Iron MC series & you must read book one & two in order to understand & enjoy the series. It picks up right where book 2 left off & flows perfectly. I couldn't wait to tead this & it did not dissappoint. This one we watch as Pearl has grown as a character. It's captivating & I could not put it down. A perfect ending to Pearls storyline, as it still leaves the door open for more Pearl, Blaze & Tank. Looking forward to reading Doc's story next as he is my favourite character in this series.

Pearl's Journey by GM Scherbert is a box set of the first three books in her Devil's Iron MC series.

In Tanks Pearl we meet Pearl, a single mother and special ed teacher. She meets Tank at a bar while having a girls weekend. He is younger then her and the VP of the Devil's Iron MC. He introduces her to club life and the BDSM lifestyle. He wants her to trust him, but has a few things to learn as well. I liked this book, but had a hard time with the perfect English the characters speak with. I also had a big dislike of Tank by the end of this book.

In Pearl's Blaze Tank is out of the picture and Blaze the clubs president is helping Pearl pick up the peices of her life. Again, I loved the storyline and even the characters, but had a hard time with how perfect the dialogue was. I loved Blaze but I felt like Pearl had just decided to settle with him because he was there and Tank wasn't there.

In Pearl's Awakening both men are in the picture, and Pearl has to make a choice. Or does she? This is the last book in Pearl's Journey and I thought the conclusion was very fitting.

Individually, I thought these books were okay once I got past the perfect english the characters spoke. As a whole though, I loved the storyline and thought the ending was great. For her first books, I thought the author did a good job.

I absolutely LOVE this series! Adore GM Scherbert's writing style and the series being in this boxset is lovely, especially with this beautiful cover.

The characters Scherbert has created are very real. From the beginning, we are given a variety of characters, both mains and secondaries, who are very relatable. They have been built up, with lots of detail and personality, giving them a very lifelike feel. Their actions and the way they grow, throughout the series,really makes them very easy to connect with.

The pace of the series is perfect. We are given action, with fast paced exciting moments and slower moments, where we take stock of our surroundings and what has happened. Both have been blended together to make the series real and completely addicting.

I thought the overall story was fantastic. It carried through the three books very easily. There was always something happening that really kept me hooked, and, well, most of it was just really hot! I enjoyed getting to know each of the character and liked how the series progressed, as a whole. Honestly, I struggle to fault it, as I just thought it was brilliant.

This series... I mean WOW... I devoured this series (3 books) in less than 24 hours. No joke started it last night around 7 was up until after 2 am because i could not put it down and woke up this morning and jumped right back in now it is just after 5pm my time and having just finished it I literally have no words to do this book justice. I dont even think i could if i tried. It pulled emotions out of me that I have not felt in a while and to have them all come out through this entire series is one that has not happened in a long long time. This book has it all... love, heartbreak, kink, dirty talk, suspense, seriously you name something then at one point or another it is in this book.

I wanted to laugh in this book for some of the things that came out of Pearls mouth and the way she stood up for herself trying to put Tank or Blaze in their place only for them to come back and end up putting her in her place. I cried a few different times, wanted to throttle a few characters including the main ones, I was ready to throw down with the characters as they were fighting.

I just have no words to properly describe this series except to say it was beyond amazing, fantastic, spectacular and for sure at the top of my all time favorite MC reads.

First I must say that I received each of these three book in this box set individually through my KU. These books contain material for adult only audience. Book 1 introduces you to Tank a young VP in the Devil's Iron MC and Dom in the BDSM world and Pearl a middle aged mother who is the opposite of Tank. With an undeniable attraction to each other Pearl is throw into the BDSM lifestyle that lead to dire consequences. with a gut wrenching cliffhanger at the end. Book 2 picks up where book 1 ended and with Tank not around the Prez of the MC Blaze takes Pearl under his protection and the attraction between the two grows leaving Pearl confused in her feels for either man. Book three brings Tank back into Pearl and Blazes life presenting a tug between the two Dominate men she has feelings for. This box set is a great read for anyone who likes a good MC book and does not have a problem with the BDSM lifestyle. These books contain a mix of sex, violence, and romance that will take you on an emotional roller coaster. I would recommend getting the box set over each book individually because of the cliffhanger in book 1 and 2.

The First book of the series we see how Pearl has gone through a lot with her little girls and meets Tank he's demanding, controlling biker they have there hook ups and she's very gullible and weak in this book cause of her past.. Second Book Pearl gets attacked and Tank is nowhere to be found Blaze helps her and protects her kids too Blaze finds out who did this to Pearl and with any cost give them the reap that they so. Third Book Tank comes back and now Pearl can't decide who she loves. Pearl loves Tank and Blaze each in her own way and she doesn't want to choose. I loved this book as my favorite one of this series It shows you how you can love two people and work as being a family together it's just how some people are when your bikers it doesn't surprise me! Overall great series Loved each book! 5/5 very entertaining! I received a ARC for a unbiased review

I received this book as a gift. As I had not read anything by this author before, I thought I'd give it a try. I am happy, indeed! This is an excellent set of 3 books, with each flowing nicely into next book. The author gives us a great build-up of the characters! I feel like I personally know Pearl, absolutely love Blaze, want to have my turn with Tank out behind the shed, and want to know more about the guys of the Devil's Iron Motorcycle Club. Fair warning to readers, this book does contain violence, including a brutal rape, bondage, BDSM, fetish, public humiliation, and multiple partners. Best part is, this author has mastered the talent of dirty talking! I couldn't put the book down!!!

If you are in the mood for some suspense & wild action mixed with mind-blowing sex, this is the series for you!!!

This Series Includes the first three books in the Devil's Iron Series. GM Scherbert's dirty mind takes you with Pearl, Tank, and Blaze weaving Pearl's Journey in an unbelievable chain of events. I threw my kindle once or twice, getting swept up in the feelings and actions of characters you'll become invested in. She did a great job setting the stage for the next book because I was dying to see what happened next. I will warn readers that there are triggers, and a great balance created by the inclusion of BDSM and MC lifestyles, which are showcasing the Alpha males, Tank and Blaze. If you have an open mind and enjoy a great story, you need to read this!

Pearl is in a class of her own!!!

I've read "a lot" of MC series and I truly enjoyed them all. Each are similar and different in their own way. Pearl is in a new level that I thoroughly enjoyed! She is a classy lady who knows what she wants after years of totally not getting it. She is strong, smart and a no bs kind of woman. I know this story has her men in it and they are total alphas but pearl is always the center that these books evolve around. A most excellent and awesome emotional ride I have had!!!! The rollercoaster ride of up and down is totally worth the tissue you will use. GM Scherbert I am so excited to continue on. Thank you
