After graduation she got a job with the state of Colorado as their one and only hog farm inspector and spent her days wandering the Eastern Plains shooting the shit with farmers. After a few years of that, she got bored. And since she was a homeschool mom and actually does love science, she decided to write science textbooks and make online classes for other homeschool moms. She wrote more than two hundred of those workbooks and was the number one publisher at the online homeschool store many times, but eventually she covered every science topic she could think of and ran out of shit to say.
So in 2012 she decided to write fiction instead. That year she released her first three books and started a career that would make her a New York Times bestseller and land her on the USA Today Bestseller’s List eighteen times in the next three years. Her books have sold millions of copies all over the world, the audio version of her semi-autobiographical book, Eighteen, was nominated for a Voice Arts Award and an Audie award in 2016 and 2017 respectively, her audiobook Mr. Perfect was nominated for a Voice Arts Award in 2017, and her book, Taking Turns, was nominated for an Audie Award in 2018. 3.5 Social Stars
Hmm this is so different then what I am used to with a JA Huss book. It’s not that I didn't like it more like I want to know more about these two characters.
I feel like we just scratched the top layer of them. But that I have been listening for so long I should know more about them. Does that make sense?
We know something bad happened to her in her childhood, we know he is rich and powerful-ish and that he is America’s heart throb.
We also know that she has been lusting after him for a long time, and now that she has the chance at a shot with him her past is hindering her.
He has never wanted anyone like he wants her. So this is new and scary for them both.
I enjoyed the heck out of the narration; all but when he does the female parts… I don’t like that but all his other voices are perfect.
She does a great male voice I really enjoyed it. And all her other voices are pretty fun to listen to.

I love to listen to audiobooks; it makes chores or driving feel less like a grind. I don't usually listen to a book that I've already read, but I will make exceptions if I hear that the production of the audio book is particularly good. Social is the audio version of the first three installments of J. A. Huss' Social Media serial that was originally published in 2014. I bought each installment but waited to start reading until they were all published to minimize my frustration over waiting between installments. I just recently learned that an audio version had been made, so I used one of my Audible member credits to pick it up.
I really enjoyed reading the serial, but I have to say that the audio is so much more intimate, and the sex scenes seem so much naughtier when listening to them! In the audiobook, I picked up on how the characters change and grow through the series, and how those changes effect their relationship. The narrators are excellent. The sultry voice of Mark Kamish is perfect for Vaughn, and Autumn Clark "is" Grace Kinsella!

I'm loving this book. It started off a little oddly, with me not quite understand where the characters stood with each other. There was lot of back and forth between Grace and Asher and as soon as I thought they'd figured something out, they were once again bickering over something else. It was confounding and entertaining. A little under halfway through the book though, things got really interesting and fascinating. I was hooked and I could tell things were going to be amazing. I mean Grace and Asher have wonderful chemistry, but between their pasts, and what was going on now, I was mesmerized. I can't wait to read the next book!

I'm mad at all of my Huss bitches who didn't force me to read this book sooner. I've been a Huss addict for about a year now, but I am only just now finding Vaughn Asher and Grace Kinsella. And that pisses me off. A lot.
Vaughn Asher is fucking hot. He's cocky and arrogant and beautiful. He's dirty and hot and fuckhot amazing.
If you're looking for a couple who fights as much as they fuck, then you should probably pick up Social.
If you're looking for a couple who plays games and avoid serious conversation, then you should probably pick up Social.
If you're looking for dirty, hot sex, then you should probably pick up Social.
Do you see the theme here? You should pick up Social.
Julie is a a mastermind of hot sex and debauchery. Games and banter and money. There's always money. And that money makes Julie's men fan-fucking-tastic. It makes them more complicated, more dark, more twisted, more...everything. Maybe it isn't the money. Maybe she just writes the craziest of crazies and makes them completely irresistible. Not sure how she does it, but I fall for every single leading man she puts into a book. Yes, I have favorites, but they don't all make the top spots. However, Vaughn is definitely in the top 5 Huss men.
Read Social. Follow it with Media. You won't be sorry.

Now I read all of these when they were released as individual books, but had to buy the bundle for one reason. One EPIC reason. End of Book Shit. For fans of Julie, you know what the EOBS is. So for EOBS this time around, Julie did something different. I mean, she already wrote six of them for the series and those included some fantastic rants. But we get two very special EOBS in this bundle set. This one is all Julie and a day in the life of one of my favorite authors... and she even hints at the details of the one for Media.
So if you're like me and need to have complete sets, individual books etc. the EOBS in this bundle makes this purchase so worth it!.

Hell I don't think JA Huss could ever write a 3 star book, well not in my mind so I dunno what y'all read but it is So So Good, No it isn't Good Its Frickin Fantastic!!! Bravo Julie!!! One Click this freaky ride, jump on the Lazy River Ride and See for yourself because that is exactly what it is, a Freaking tripping Ride!!! So much Suspense and Mystery, who did what with who, and why the hell are you with him? its got Reality, Gritty Raw Dirty Hot Sex, Lies and Secrets but also its so full of Lust, Want, Fantasy and Love and Want and Signed Agreements you thought was never going to happen but maybe just maybe its someone else signing on the dotted line! And the biggest surprise for me was things people hide that happen to people every day, like Ticks that is what started my Grandsons nightmare and its in this book the same time and the things people have to deal with, just as we do every single day a horrific event. Now its not like what you are going to find out but its ours and we own it....So Yes even add horrific tragedy that not just anyone can weave into a tale such as this...the way this tale is wound up into this Horrific event was just Wow! I Could NOT STOP READING until if was over, so yes after this the next three books are MEDIA and Wow just Wow Julie, you blow me away woman, thank you for the reprieve and to add in what his sister has going on, was just special for me even though it was years ago...IT STILL JUST WAS!
Meet Grace, just a regular beauty that truly doesn't see her own beauty, always happy and set in her ways as she goes about life, she see's her best friend as the real beauty in this friendship and her best friend isn't just a best friend but she grew up with her, they became sisters they lived in the same house starting at a young age, her parents become her parents, and her best friend whom she tells everything and holds to such a high standard, she still doesn't know much at all because sometimes you just cannot tell when you are a little girl, the things that happened to Grace just don't happen to people so you just don't tell! Anyways they win a free long weekend to a honeymoon suite getaway and they go on that pretense! I mean who would check that and figure out they are not on a Honeymooners right? And even though her best friends flavor of the month shows up so what that three people are set to be in the Honeymoon Suite nobody would care right, they can trade time in the room and make it all work right? Well Grace sure thinks so and the first night she drinks in the bar and someone tries to buy her a specific drink and Uh she isn't into that But he sees her tweet and from then on things start to happen and she starts getting an invite to a private pool with a lazy river and as she is lazily riding around someone jumps into her float they are the only people in the pool, is this closed for them then she looks at this guy, gets a good look and its Him, her fantasy man it is Vaughn Asher is in her float and he reaches over and gets a beer out of the cooler and oh jeeze she has a shocked OMG moment and then wants to lick his back...she want to do what she has always said she wanted to do in her tweets, but he grabs a beer and sets back as he sets back and they touch shoulders sparks fly and they chat for a small bit he thumps her nose and she thought he was going to kiss her and then he jumps out and tells her to enjoy her day and walks away. Then she also realizes he was the guy in the bar, he saw her tweet and she is now really freaking out. She is ready to leave and as she noticed before The place is closed off in a bunch of places she thinks for him but then realizes its for a private wedding, she wonders if he is here for that.... but as the reader you get some info from Vaughn as he saw Grace get out of the car when she arrived he has had her background checked figured out who she is with and when the extra guy shows up he figures out she didn't marry a woman and he wants her, as soon as he see's Grace he knows he will have her, he just doesn't know what it is he might be getting with Grace....Grace has a funny trip in the only store because she has realized she forgot to bring any undies but the ones she wore so goes in to buy some and the prices are outrageous it sure isn't Target, so she buys a mans pair and later that is hilarious....
So they meet, she is shocked and is ready to go up and tweet some more hot tweets about her fantasy man because he is so much more good looking in person and after the gift shop spree on ONE pair of mans underwear she gets to her room and she gets a call and finds out she will have the room to herself tonight her friend and the boyfriend is on the other side of the island and are just going to stay over their for the night as she gets off the phone she sees another envelope slip under her door, same as the pool invite but its a dinner date and she knows its the same writing its a dinner date with Vaughn Asher, never in her wildest dreams would she have thought this would happen. She does her happy dance and then naps thinking this will be a very long night, she gets ready in a simple dress and wears her mans undies and heads out and she takes a different route to the place her dinner is and she thinks she is lost or turned around and then she sees the private party, the wedding party she sees Vaughn and he is with a woman and he is being really sweet and then wiping tears and then he kisses her cheek and OMG he is with this woman at this wedding and then going to run over and be with the twat twitter queen and she stomps off to the beach she is not having dinner with him, she cannot stand a cheater, it would never happen with her, she will never be the other woman...what was she thinking? So here is were the fantasy man kind of comes to real life!
So its a rough start for a fantasy for the both of them, I will tell ya the woman is his sister and she is having the private wedding and she is having doubts, second thoughts and Vaughn is the consoler, his family owns the entire place, he lives in LA and Grace is from Denver, he wants NDA's signed and she says you are nuts its one night but she also would love to have her fantasy man even the terrible man that he ends up being some times, but all his other things he wants, she just doesn't think she can do it, is she a submissive, he sure thinks she is....he wants specific things and she is just a twitter girl that does event management, she knows nothing of that kind of stuff and she just got hired at the main office and is getting a new account as soon as she gets back. She finds out real quick that fantasy men well they sure are not the men you watch at the movies and he isn't the sweet man she has always pleasured herself to, nope matter of fact his is a dick if ya ask me, this Vaughn is not her fantasy or is he? She doesn't even know because when things got real and yes things do get REAL, but when he sends her NDA she agrees to try, he send it over to her room to be signed BY a younger girl than her, says she is his attorney, Well Grace Freaks Out, she packs and leaves her last night, the night of her dreams she Runs to the airport and before she gets on the plane her phone rings its Vaughn, how does he know her number, he says he is sorry and he will come and get her don't leave, he didn't mean to embarrass her at the family dinner he took her to, yep she meets the family...but OMG only in a Julie Huss way do you meet the family! But he doesn't even know why she is still fuming and she flies out....and Vaughn well he loves this chase its nothing he has ever had to do, is that what it is, has to be because he wants this woman like Really wants her and he does some silly stuff, Almost redeems himself....
This book had me cracking up laughing so many times and then the other I was ready to throw my Kindle out the front door... and I cried, I sobbed I did with both books!
Oh this Book...it is so much and that much more...what a Mind blower, yep in the decent way I can say on Amazon! Why oh Why are people Not RAVING ABOUT SOCIAL MEDIA??? I Do Not Get It, that is was written a few yrs back well heck this woman only writes like 7 to 8 books a year at least ya got get caught up at some point....But I cannot make excuses because this book came out 2 years ago! I read 321 then Rook and Ronin and then books that are related to the company and still have 2 to go and plus all the new books. But this book to me has its own Feel to it, unlike anything else I have read from Julie other than Junco and that is Sci Fi, Nope Social Media was one of the firsts its her learning curves and I LOVED IT!
Find Grace and Vaughn and everyone else....all the secrets well yeah next book is a BLOW YOUR MIND CRY LIKE A BABY! BUT in this book Vegas Baby, and Movies Releases and Screw you Vaughn in only a Julie kind of way that has you imagining everything and anything...and the EOBS is Hilarious, it isn't your usual but neither is this book. Nah Social Media it isn't anything like anything! It Just IS......FANTASTIC!!! SO READ IT ALL, GO GET IT NOW!!!!

And the biggest surprise for me was things people hide that happen to people every day, like Ticks that is what started my Grandsons nightmare and its in this book the same time and the things people have to deal with, just as we do every single day a horrific event. Now its not like what you are going to find out but its ours and we own it....So Yes even add horrific tragedy that not just anyone can weave into a tale such as this...the way this tale is wound up into this Horrific event was just Wow! I Could NOT STOP READING until if was over, so yes after this the next three books are MEDIA and Wow just Wow Julie, you blow me away woman, thank you for the reprieve and to add in what his sister has going on, was just special for me even though it was years ago...IT STILL JUST WAS!

And even though her best friends flavor of the month shows up so what that three people are set to be in the Honeymoon Suite nobody would care right, they can trade time in the room and make it all work right? Well Grace sure thinks so and the first night she drinks in the bar and someone tries to buy her a specific drink and Uh she isn't into that But he sees her tweet and from then on things start to happen and she starts getting an invite to a private pool with a lazy river and as she is lazily riding around someone jumps into her float they are the only people in the pool, is this closed for them then she looks at this guy, gets a good look and its Him, her fantasy man it is Vaughn Asher is in her float and he reaches over and gets a beer out of the cooler and oh jeeze she has a shocked OMG moment and then wants to lick his back...she want to do what she has always said she wanted to do in her tweets, but he grabs a beer and sets back as he sets back and they touch shoulders sparks fly and they chat for a small bit he thumps her nose and she thought he was going to kiss her and then he jumps out and tells her to enjoy her day and walks away. Then she also realizes he was the guy in the bar, he saw her tweet and she is now really freaking out. She is ready to leave and as she noticed before The place is closed off in a bunch of places she thinks for him but then realizes its for a private wedding, she wonders if he is here for that.... but as the reader you get some info from Vaughn as he saw Grace get out of the car when she arrived he has had her background checked figured out who she is with and when the extra guy shows up he figures out she didn't marry a woman and he wants her, as soon as he see's Grace he knows he will have her, he just doesn't know what it is he might be getting with Grace....Grace has a funny trip in the only store because she has realized she forgot to bring any undies but the ones she wore so goes in to buy some and the prices are outrageous it sure isn't Target, so she buys a mans pair and later that is hilarious....
So they meet, she is shocked and is ready to go up and tweet some more hot tweets about her fantasy man because he is so much more good looking in person and after the gift shop spree on ONE pair of mans underwear she gets to her room and she gets a call and finds out she will have the room to herself tonight her friend and the boyfriend is on the other side of the island and are just going to stay over their for the night as she gets off the phone she sees another envelope slip under her door, same as the pool invite but its a dinner date and she knows its the same writing its a dinner date with Vaughn Asher, never in her wildest dreams would she have thought this would happen. She does her happy dance and then naps thinking this will be a very long night, she gets ready in a simple dress and wears her mans undies and heads out and she takes a different route to the place her dinner is and she thinks she is lost or turned around and then she sees the private party, the wedding party she sees Vaughn and he is with a woman and he is being really sweet and then wiping tears and then he kisses her cheek and OMG he is with this woman at this wedding and then going to run over and be with the twat twitter queen and she stomps off to the beach she is not having dinner with him, she cannot stand a cheater, it would never happen with her, she will never be the other woman...what was she thinking? So here is were the fantasy man kind of comes to real life!
So its a rough start for a fantasy for the both of them, I will tell ya the woman is his sister and she is having the private wedding and she is having doubts, second thoughts and Vaughn is the consoler, his family owns the entire place, he lives in LA and Grace is from Denver, he wants NDA's signed and she says you are nuts its one night but she also would love to have her fantasy man even the terrible man that he ends up being some times, but all his other things he wants, she just doesn't think she can do it, is she a submissive, he sure thinks she is....he wants specific things and she is just a twitter girl that does event management, she knows nothing of that kind of stuff and she just got hired at the main office and is getting a new account as soon as she gets back. She finds out real quick that fantasy men well they sure are not the men you watch at the movies and he isn't the sweet man she has always pleasured herself to, nope matter of fact his is a dick if ya ask me, this Vaughn is not her fantasy or is he? She doesn't even know because when things got real and yes things do get REAL, but when he sends her NDA she agrees to try, he send it over to her room to be signed BY a younger girl than her, says she is his attorney, Well Grace Freaks Out, she packs and leaves her last night, the night of her dreams she Runs to the airport and before she gets on the plane her phone rings its Vaughn, how does he know her number, he says he is sorry and he will come and get her don't leave, he didn't mean to embarrass her at the family dinner he took her to, yep she meets the family...but OMG only in a Julie Huss way do you meet the family! But he doesn't even know why she is still fuming and she flies out....and Vaughn well he loves this chase its nothing he has ever had to do, is that what it is, has to be because he wants this woman like Really wants her and he does some silly stuff, Almost redeems himself....
This book had me cracking up laughing so many times and then the other I was ready to throw my Kindle out the front door... and I cried, I sobbed I did with both books!
Oh this Book...it is so much and that much more...what a Mind blower, yep in the decent way I can say on Amazon! Why oh Why are people Not RAVING ABOUT SOCIAL MEDIA??? I Do Not Get It, that is was written a few yrs back well heck this woman only writes like 7 to 8 books a year at least ya got get caught up at some point....But I cannot make excuses because this book came out 2 years ago! I read 321 then Rook and Ronin and then books that are related to the company and still have 2 to go and plus all the new books. But this book to me has its own Feel to it, unlike anything else I have read from Julie other than Junco and that is Sci Fi, Nope Social Media was one of the firsts its her learning curves and I LOVED IT!
Find Grace and Vaughn and everyone else....all the secrets well yeah next book is a BLOW YOUR MIND CRY LIKE A BABY! BUT in this book Vegas Baby, and Movies Releases and Screw you Vaughn in only a Julie kind of way that has you imagining everything and anything...and the EOBS is Hilarious, it isn't your usual but neither is this book. Did not like. The writing was good and the idea good, which is what made me buy, but not one thing was believable about this entire story and both MCs were jacked up jackasses and not in any good ways at all. I won't even get into the fact he has an adopted daughter (???) who is only 7 years younger. In what world would a 23 year old unmarried male movie star be allowed to adopt (or even foster) a 16 year old homeless girl who got caught hacking his private accounts? Jeesh. And that's only the most prominent thing of all the wtf going on in this. Add to that one of my personal pet peeves, where no safeword is discussed (no condom ever used, either, really?? for so many reasons), and he constantly threatens her with ending the relationship completely and walking away if she doesn't do what he says. Argh. Blackmail. Not sexy. Read about 3/4 before skimming through the rest to see if it got better and if I could find anything to like about either MC (nope to both), shaking my head, and putting away.

This book is about Grace Kinsella and Vaughn Asher two people from completely different worlds. Grace is an event planner and social media filthy dirty tweeter to Vaughn . Vaughn is a former teen idol turned Hollywood blockbuster actor who is a Dominant in the bedroom. They first meet on the island of Saint Thomas where Vaughn and his family own the resort and Grace and her friend are there for a "Honeymoon". They enjoy a fling of sorts and Grace runs from him back home. In the next book he pursues her and tries to get her to sign his NDR. I love the push and pull and the ferocity with which he goes after Grace. One of my favorite things about this book is the #Hashtags before each chapter. JA Huss is an amazing writer and I can't wait to see what comes out next in this series. I would recommend this book to anyone.

JA Huss , I love you. You bring such life to your characters. I have yet to find a book of hers I don't like. I got so attached to Archer and Grace, that I had to by te next 4-7 before I was done with 1-3. I did not want to miss one second of this couples time together. Thank you JA Huss, just plain thank you. So intese and addictive. You will not regret picking this one up #LoveMeSomeJAHuss!

Social (Social Media #1-3) was a great read by J.A. Huss. This set consists of; Follow, Like, and Block. Follow (Social Media #1) was a great read by J.A. Huss. Grace Kinsella is a social person who loves the anonymity of being a blue bird on Twitter. It is where she is able to shoot arrows of filth at her favorite movie star. Vaughn Asher is a dominant in private. He is a former child actor who has turned to a huge movie action hero. They meet each other on Saint Thomas where he gives her an offer that she cant refuse. Like (Social Media #2) was a great read by J.A. Huss. Grace stalked Vaughn relentlessly. He ruined her social media experience one tweet at a time. She wants it all this time and will do anything it takes to get what she wants. Block (Social Media #3) was a great read by J.A. Huss. Vaughn and Grace are using twitter to send messages back and forth. This was another great read by the author and I cant wait to read more by the author.

If you’re paying attention you will catch it while reading Block. The twists and turns, the action (I love the action), how one word/object has so many important meanings. Don’t forget the romance and steamy sex scenes oh how I love them too.

In today’s world of hashtags, tweeting, liking, followers, Snapchat and endless emojis, this series felt fresh and relevant to the social media world we live in. I just finished this bundle of 3 novellas (Follow, Like, Block) and what a ride! Vaughn Asher is a movie star and the lead in Grace Kinsella’s fantasies. They meet, sparks fly, but sometimes the fantasy doesn’t live up to the reality. I must say that I think Vaughn started off as a douche, but I’m anxious to see how he evolves over the course of the next novellas. This bundle is my first read by this author and definitely won’t be my last!

Enjoyed this audiobook. Glad that Books 1-3 were in one audiobook. They, each chapter, were written as novellas. I had to buy Books 4-6 to finish the book. Almost like buying each chapter. The Dom/Sub was not a turn-on for me, but that doesn't mean to say there aren't others out there who would love it. I felt some parts were silly, but overall, I enjoyed it. Great book to get lost in. The narrators were okay. I preferred Autumn Clark with her bubbly voice. Fit perfect for Grace. Mark Kamish was okay. Not a favorite.

In this world of social media frenzy, hashtags and online popularity contests, this was a refreshing look at a romance rising out of the tweets and posts everywhere. Vaughn was that typically arrogant, stalkerish player who is drawn to Grace. I loved Grace's job as a dirty tweeter, who wouldn't want to have a fun job like that? The first three books in this series has been intriguing with cat and mouse fun and misunderstandings that happen as often as they do in real life social media. Great banter, dialogue, and POV.

Torn about this one...
I'm definitely a bit torn about this book or actually set of novellas. I'm not especially pleased with Asher and Grace definitely has some rather big flaws as well. She wants to be strong and independent but I'm not sold on that. There were so many scenes where I was shaking my head trying to figure either of them out. I'm still not sure I get them. I'm intrigued enough to read the follow up novellas and I hope he keeps up his new nicer persona. I also need to know what he did cause cliffhangers suck.

This book surprised me. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it. I figured it'd be a throwaway story to pass a couple of hours - bathtime reading.
Asher... holy shit, where to start. The author writes at the end of the book about how many people hate Vaughn Asher at the start, but not me. I utterly adored his twisted broken self from the first moment he turned up. What that says about me, I truly don't care.
I went into this book with no expectations, I finished it and immediately bought the second - which I'm in the middle of now.
A surprise hit.

Just wow
I honestly can say I don't know why I didn't read this series earlier! It's amazing! Vaughan is a huge jerk but you can't help but glimpse a side of him that makes you take a step back and just think maybe he's not really a jerk. Grace! What happened to her to make her the way she is. Ì can tell you I'm glad I don't have to wait for the next book considering it's already released. I'll have my answers soon

One of my favorite story lines to read is when famous hollywood actor meets non famous woman. So this was exactly the type for me, and I was not disappointed. It was funny, with very hot great sex scenes and some mystery. I am definitely going to buy the 2nd book right after finish this review. I am also going to probably purchase the audiobook for this series so I can listen to it while at work. Looking forward to reading another great book by t

Awful, jumbled writing. Vaughn was not a good main lead, regardless of if he "redeems" himself in the next bundle of books. He's not even a hot alpha- just a giant spoiled egomaniac who has to get his way. And the fact that he just met this girl and is demanding all of this personal, sexual stuff from her? No thanks!! I really liked this author's Rook series, but this is one I wish I hadn't picked up.
