This book has been written as an effort to expand the knowledge of users about products and apps that are the core of Zapier service. As it, you should be expecting some (or a lot) of marketing for their products and services.
Off of that, this book is a good resource to learn about how to manage a project using digital tools and gathers a lot of resources to pick the right one. Also gives you a lot of ideas about automation and digital stack from teams around the world.
This is a great guide to project management in general. It only loses a star due to the sequence of its chapters. Zapier has huge potentials for many users but there's definitely a learning curve that won't be mastered without some guides written from the people who built it in the first place. This is the type of educational content the one wish to have from every single software and app if they were to be genuinely useful and beneficial to the end user.
Very strong coverage of current Apps and systems for project management yet light on understanding culture, problem solving and how to deliver successful projects. The book fails in my view to match the headline grabbing title.
Title is misleading in my opinion and once that is resolved then yes, it's a good ultimate guide on project management apps.
Good for very beginners. Good list of tools and examples how to connect and automate them. Can skip the other stuff, because it is not relevant for project management or it is not very precise (there are better explanations of lean, agile, scrum etc. out there).
Easy to read, detailed explanation of Project Management- what it is, what it involves, how to perform tasks required to complete. Excellent primer on the subject.
