I had looked forward to reading this book for ages, having heard great things about it. Having read it, I'm now thinking perhaps I need to be teaching UK curriculum to get excited about this one. There are certainly some ideas and elements that I can adapt but it felt a lot like it was written to enable teachers to tick off UK curriculum boxes, rather than to grow amazing writers.
