K.C. Wells lives on an island off the south coast of the UK, surrounded by natural beauty. She writes about men who love men, and can’t even contemplate a life that doesn’t include writing. The rainbow rose tattoo on her back with the words 'Love is Love' and 'Love Wins' is her way of hoisting a flag. She plans to be writing about men in love - be it sweet and slow, hot or kinky - for a long while to come.

Short but sweet, this story takes place one year after the epilogue in Making it Personal. Blake and Will have been married for six years and are expecting their surrogate to deliver their baby in a few weeks time. Blake sets up a sexy birthday surprise for Will, but the night doesn't completely go as planned.
It was a real treat to catch up with these two (and Alec!) a little further along in their Happily Ever After. Looking forward to more in the future.
5 stars, 5 hearts ♥♥♥♥♥ and a huge thank you to KC and her helpers for bringing us up-to-date on events in the Blake and Will Davis household. A marriage, a baby and a scorching hot birthday surprise involving fruit, chocolate and champagne, absolutely loved it.
3.5 stars - This is a short, fluffy and very sweet story. It was lovely to see Will and Blake again. I kind of wish it had been longer and just... more. Mostly because I love this couple so so much and don't ever want to stop reading about them! Soooo, I have to ask - where's Rick's story?! And am I correct in thinking we might see more of Colin, too? ;)
I loved this because it felt like an extra long epilogue, I was so glad to be with them, waiting for the birth of their child. I won't say what they have you have to read it, to find out ;-)
Will and Blake from ‘Making it Personal’ are back for a short interlude, and it is one I enjoyed a lot. It picks up at the end of the epilogue of that first book when Will and Blake had just found a surrogate, and builds an excellent bridge to book three. Yes, I peeked at the blurb to check whose story is next. But back to Will and Blake: they have settled into their new lives nicely, and are looking forward to the next stage.
Will is working hard on his next novel, so getting interrupted to do grocery shopping for a dinner Blake was supposed to prepare for Will’s birthday is not what he expected. But once he gets back to their apartment, what he finds there is also not what he expected. Except this time he is rather more interested, not to say excited, about what Blake has planned for them. Let me just say that the birthday celebration turns out to be very, very hot!
Blake happily runs Trinity Publishing on his own these days, but what he is really interested in is Will and their about-to-be-born baby. The phone call the morning after their very memorable activities is not what Blake expected at that point, but learning to deal with unforeseen situations is par for the course when becoming a parent, and the sooner he gets used to that the better.
If you want to know how the guys at Trinity Publishing are doing, if you like seeing favorite couples return t0 find out what their lives are like after their happy end, and if you’re looking for a read that is as hot as it is fun, then you will probably like this short story.
NOTE: This book was provided by the author for the purpose of a review on Rainbow Book Reviews.
This story provides a small peak at the lives of Blake and Will as they bring their child into the world. It's warm and happy.
It's always nice to get a little more of a favourite characters, especially years into a relationship, and this is no exception. They might have been married for six years but the passion is still there!
This is a short story (<50 pages) and has nicely lead me into the next book Personal Changes which I am eagerly waiting to read!
I publish all my m/m reviews on my blog so if you want to see all my m/m reviews in one place come visit at Because Two Men Are Better Than One!
Leseempfehlung ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A Loving Relationship! A short chapter in the life of married CEO Blake & Author Will, in which they celebrate a sexy birthday and a special delivery. Cute & sexy!
“Più che personale” è una breve dolce novella, con una stuzzicante punta di erotismo, che si svolge sei anni dopo le vicende narrate nei primi due romanzi. Will e Blake sono ormai sposati da anni, sempre più innamorati e in attesa del loro primo figlio attraverso una madre surrogata.
“Will snorted. “If he faints, I am NOT picking him up off the floor.” Blake arched his eyebrows. “ME faint? This from Mr. Will “Oh-my-God-I’ve-gashed-my-hand-please-stop-the-bleeding” Davis?” His eyes sparkled. “And this was from a paper cut.”
More Than Personal by Kc Wells takes place almost six years after Making It Personal. Will and Blake are still in love with each other and are looking forward to the birth of their child that has been carried by a surrogate. With only a few weeks left until the birth, Blake surprises Will with a very naughty birthday present. They receive a phone call that leaves them scared, upset, but leads to an HEA ending that left me saying ” Awww”. Kc has written a heartwarming tale that has angst, anticipation, hope, and sex that adds just the right amount of spice. I really like how she packs the angst, hope, fear, and joy of a much longer tale into a short story that is a totally satisfying read. I really enjoyed it, and if you’re looking for a quick read that leaves you with a happy feeling, then this is the book for you.
Short, Sexy and Steamy… my three favorite colors!!
Will and Blake are happily married for going on six years, and expecting their first child via a surrogate. For Will’s birthday Blake manages to get him out of the flat long enough to set up his surprise, neither one is aware that the day has even more surprises in store for them.
Blake has a special birthday dinner planned for Will, and Will is the main course! Blake nibbles, licks and devours more than just champagne, chocolate and strawberries on their new four poster bed in this sexy little dish of a story. Exhausted and happily spent, the hubbies drift off only to be woken by a frantic call from their surrogate. And baby makes three!
It seemed like I devoured this delicious treat in five minutes flat! The story flowed so well and fit perfectly into the world Wells has created with the Personal series. A lot of times readers are left wondering what happens exactly with our favorite couples after ‘The End’. Well, Wells has given us a peak into Will and Blakes life six years later and they are still very much in love, and lust with each other.
You have to read this book, but you have to have read the first two books in the series first, Making It Personal and Personal Changes.
I found it hard to review this short story. To me it feels more like an addition to the first story “Making it Personal” than a completely new story or book.
We get to peek into the lives of Blake and Will 6 years down the road as a very happily married couple living together and on the verge of being fathers.
As always author K.C. Wells knows how to capture the attention and makes this an enjoyable read but for me it missed something besides being very short. It did spike my interest as what is to come for Ed, Colin, and Rick.
As I mentioned before it didn’t feel to me like a new book but more of an extra long epilogue to the first one. It is great, however, to meet up again with Blake and Will because they definitely are a fabulous couple.
This short reads easily, it is smoking hot in K.C. Wells style and it is great to get to see how both men are living and how theirs lives turned out. The birthday surprise is a treat to read, but that’s it. Nothing more ,nothing less . A nice sweet easily read hot short story.
A quick, sweet sequel/epilogue to Making It Personal. It takes place six years later on Will's birthday. A great super short, steamy read.
I've already started the next book in the series--the very promising Personal Changes. This book has us stepping back those six years to just after the end of Making It Personal--this flip back in time didn't bother me at all.
I loved these guys in the first book but this one was just okay for me. Very short and too much sex, and kids are not my favorite kind to read. I knew it going in but I was willing to give it a try because they really are two great characters.
We catch up with Will and Blake in this cute, but very short, sequel. It's Will's birthday and Blake plans a special surprise. Both of them, however, get more than they bargained for. (In a good way!)
