For Ella Richards, love is a forbidden 4 letter word. No one knows her past and she likes it that way. She never lets herself get attached because getting attached means getting hurt and getting hurt is the last thing she wants. So when she gets whisked away to the Sky Lounge by the mysterious Kayden Black, she can't help but try to deny the feelings she has for him. Can she open up to him about her rocky past and finally let someone in or will she lose the one person who has come to mean more to her than she could have ever imagined?
It's been years since Kayden has let a woman into his life, let alone his heart, and he plans on it being years before he lets another woman in again. Then he finds Ella in the club and is drawn to her. But why? What is so special about this woman? Hoping to figure it out, he takes her to a place a little more private. Can Kayden come clean about his past and accept the outcome?

The book has so much potential and I am looking forward reading and learning more about this interesting and passionate characters.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
When I was reading the beginning of this book I thought Oh Wow that escalated quickly. They met at a bar and BAM! in love. But then as the story evolved I thought What about Instalove? Love at First Sight? Or just meant to be together? Destiny? That was this couple!!! I will say there is a lot of story packed in this book. Damn life put this couple through the wringer!!! Past and present drama. In the end I got it, I saw it they belonged together it was just that simple. Great first book by a new author and can't wait to read the rest in the series.
