Lee knows she can't be a criminal because of her loving ways though. As they unfold the mystery, their relationship grows.
Margaret Daley was a great addition to this series. Enjoyed this story very much.
I loved ❤️ this book's storyline. I loved ❤️ the suspense in this story. I loved ❤️ the action in this story. I loved ❤️ the Christian ✝️ theme in this story. I loved ❤️ Heidi's character. I felt sorry for Heidi. I loved ❤️ Lee's character. I loved ❤️ Kip 🐕. I loved ❤️ the ending. Awesome job Ms. Daley.
Great overall plot/mystery, and LOVED the hero and his K-9 partner.
However, this book features some of the most poorly written, unrealistic dialogue ever published. And the author apparently felt the urge to have her characters explain literally everything through dialogue. It’s almost like she forgot this medium is a book and not a movie/show. There is absolutely no need to have the characters speak to each other about everything...we are your readers; you can just show or even tell us! Yikes!
I almost abandoned the book entirely because I kept cringing. But I was intrigued by the amnesia angle and needed to know what was going on.
I really enjoyed this book. The suspense was great. I would hate not being able to remember who I was. This book was very detailed about amnesia. K-9 detective Lee Calloway and his border Collie was working a case in the woods, when he found a lady that had amnesia. She had seen something, she couldn’t remember, and someone wanted her dead. Lee was there to protect her. I also loved Lee’s landlord that took “Heidi’ in and helped to take care of her. She was a caregiver by heart, but could also shoot a gun if she needed too. The end of the book was a surprise that I never saw coming. Excellent book!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book by Margaret Daley, one of my favorite authors. It was an edge of your seat suspense and hard to put the book down! Amnesia, murder, canine rescue, missing people, and a kindly nurturing landlady who could also be tough as nails! I loved the characters. Ms. Daley's writing drew me in and made me feel like I was one of community of friends. Highly recommend this book! I did not read the 1st book in this series, and am going to order it to begin soon!

She writes books that keep you on the edge of your seat through the whole thing. This one doesn't disappoint. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and if you aren't careful you can give a way spoilers by reviewing them.
I will just leave it as a book you shouldn't miss reading and one I think you will truly enjoy.
This was a very interesting K-9 story. There are many different relationship issues that are addressed. Abusive husband, broken engagement, trust issues. It is all done with a Christian outlook. I definitely recommend this book and author.
I don't know about you but I love dogs of all kinds. This Mini Series Texas K-9 Unit will have you wanting more to read. I finished up reading Detection Mission book #2 in this mini series and it just keeps on getting better and better. If you haven't read this series pick up a copy and read.
Wow! There are few books that can keep me from sleep but this one definitely did! So many different possibilities! I loved it and can't wait for the next one.
"Detection Mission" is a Christian romantic suspense. It's the second book in a series and continues the ongoing mystery about the stolen K9, but it also works fine as a stand alone novel. Heidi has amnesia, which usually is just a reason for the heroine not to remember critical information while being targeted by her enemies. I liked that the author actually spent time on Heidi trying to discover what foods she likes, why she's so comfortable praying, and basically who she is. She's living in a rooming house with two K9 officers, so she's not on the run though she is in danger. This allowed more time for her to get to know people (including Lee) while Lee investigated who's attacking her and why she was wandering the forest, injured, when he found her.
The main characters were likable and reacted realistically to events. Heidi and Lee got along well. Lee supported Heidi's rediscovery process and encouraged her in her progress rather than pressuring her to remember. The suspense came from the physical danger to Heidi from several sources. There was no sex or bad language. Overall, I'd recommend this exciting novel.
Lee with the K 9 unit, saying she had no ID and they also were wondering who she was. Was she a witness to the kidnapping, she was noticed in Lost Woods, running. Even in the hospital someone tried to kill her, would she ever remember. The nightmares, she only felt safe when around Lee. When she saw the man, she remembers a poster with her picture, riddled with gun shots thru it. No wonder she ran, nor trust anyone, could she ever have a life, now that he found her again. Heart pounding mystery to keep you reading to the end of book.
