REVIEWED FOR PRISM BOOK ALLIANCE

4.5 Stars

This is book 5 in the All Cocks Stories series and for me it had a bit of a different feel about it to the previous books. Although still set around all the guys who work for All Cocks it took a step back from the porn and concentrated more on family and support. It also dealt with having a partner who was living with HIV – and the key word there is living.

Live for Love begins bleakly looking back at a time in Beau’s life that was painful and desperate as he buried the love of his life. Over a decade later and Beau is still very much in love the man who was cruelly taken from him and he also lives with a heavy dose of guilt and of course his diagnosis of being HIV positive. He does have counselling sessions with Tristan where he can let loose but he doesn’t have any close friends that he opens up to about his life. Beau has got into a habit of keeping secrets which in turn makes him seem standoffish and he long ago gave up on finding love again.

William blows into Beau’s life like a small tornado. Oblivious to Beau’s secrets he is determined to get his man but it is months after a quick grope and earth shattering kiss in the back of the bar that he makes any headway. First of all they must become friends but slowly and surely William chips away at Beau’s walls until the only thing left is the need for complete honesty.

The author did a great job here. Beau was a character who lived with a great deal of grief but handled himself with dignity. He threw himself into everything he did and as he slowly opened up to his self-made family you could almost feel him getting lighter as he bloomed into the man William loved. I think Beau may be my favourite character of the series so far. So many characters that could have stories – I look forward to the series continuing.

This was a nice story, made even better by the multiple unique voices provided by the very talented voice actor, Joel Leslie. At first, I wasn’t sure I liked Bo’s voice—the French Cajun accent was a bit difficult to parse, however, I realized that it was likely written that way, and Joel was bringing it to life the way the author intended. After that, I got into the rhythm and really enjoyed it. His other voices were all wonderful as well and I especially enjoyed the voice of William’s mother. I would swear it was a woman’s voice, but that can’t be true so all I can say is Wow!

William is a big, muscular, thirty-one-year-old bottom for All Cocks, a gay porn film company. He previously was a model, male entertainer, and personal escort and has settled into life in New York where he enjoys his job at All Cocks and all the friends and family he’s come to love from his job. There are quite a few characters in this book, many of whom have previously had their own stories so it takes a little while to get into the meat of the story. As the book opens, there’s a lot of banter between Victor, Mattie, and Andrew, all of whom who have apparently been featured in previous stories, and William who is known by the name Connor at the studio and is training a new actor named Jacob. Honestly, to listen to these early chapters was difficult. There were so many different characters it was hard to establish who was who in the story.

And then there’s Beau who not only owns and operates a bar, he’s also the head of an LGBTQ Center that he founded as a nonprofit. Beau is also friends with Victor and others in the All Cocks group and so he meets William a few times informally and is the focus of William’s flirtations, though he works hard to keep his distance. Beau is holding a secret close to his heart and, in fact, is also holding his love for his deceased husband near to his heart, leaving no room for anyone else. But it’s been fifteen years since he passed, and William refuses to be shunned, so the two eventually do get together when Beau gives in to his sexual attraction to William.

There’s a lot of angst with both Beau, who is resisting William so hard, and William, who can’t understand Beau’s rejection. It’s understandable once the secret is revealed but it certainly took quite a while to get there. That all being said, once the men get to the point of commitment, they finally have sex, and as usual, Joel Leslie does an outstanding job in firing up my imagination. Sometimes listening to his narrations seems remarkably like watching a movie. Very vivid. Very realistic.

The story is well-written, and certainly well-told, so I highly recommend this one for several hours of listening pleasure. The audiobook version is a definite must.

Beau shut himself off emotionally years ago. A part of him died when his first and only love passed away from complications due to AIDS. Now living with HIV, Beau doesn't want to put anyone through what he went through, watching someone you love waste away, so when William keeps trying to pursue him, Beau keeps him at arms' length. William knows what he wants and he goes after it. He doesn't know why the sexy Cajun continues to push him away at each turn.

This was a really sexy and enjoyable read. Because Beau keeps pushing William away, it's a very slow burn, but once it heats up to full boil,... Omg it was smoking hot!!! I was actually really surprised. Reading the blurb and the subject matter, I figured this book would be loaded with angst, but while the theme is very serious and deep, it was kind of a light read. I thought the author did a fabulous job at handling the HIV issue, with grace and dignity. It saddens me that it's such a stigma for people living with this disease. I think she was well informed and well educated on the subject matter, and it was written well into the story without sounding too clinical.

This book is part of a series and while each book features a different couple or trouple, quite a few of the previous characters from the other books play really big roles in this story, so if you haven't read the other books in the series, I would suggest you read those first. I don't think this reads well as a standalone. I've read the other books, and I was confused at times trying to remember who people were. It doesn't make it any easier, that over half of these previous characters are porn stars or former porn stars, and have two names!!! I have no clue how Ms. Smith keeps all these people straight.

Let's talk about Beau before we go. Ms. Smith did well at authenticating Beau's speech and dialect, although to be truthful, it's highly unlikely that you will find people who were born here in New Orleans who speak like Beau. I've lived here all my life, and if you head further west, down highway 90 towards Houma and Lafayette, those Bayou people do speak like Beau. But she wanted to create a Cajun, so who am I to nitpick it too much. I will say that as much as we heard about Izzie, Alma and Beau's life growing up in New Orleans, I was kind of sad that she didn't bring the story here. Izzie, Alma and Beau's heritage was such a huge part of his past and shaping him into what he is today, it was disappointing not getting to meet Alma.

This was a really enjoyable story. It was well written and flowed well, and it's jam packed with love, romance, family and some incredible sex scenes. It left me feeling the warm and fuzzies. Highly recommended!!

Grrr. I was never a fan of Mr. Rochester and I’ve disliked brusque, broody (read miserable) leading men ever since. In this story, Beau remains miserable right up to the moment the story becomes a safe sex infomercial instead of a romance.

I was never quite sure why William, a young, famous porn star, continued to chase after Beau. William’s appeal was clear but aside from Beau’s philanthropic projects, I really didn’t get the attraction. I’m also getting tired of books starring porn stars where the porn star is expected to choose between his job and his relationship for a HEA. It is a tired, heteronormative and fairly judgemental trope that I just don’t want to see ever again.

And then the sex. HIV is an important topic, especially in m/m romance, but I’ve seen it handled much better. Once these two finally hook up, readers are treated to a series of sex ed lessons worthy of a moralising Victorian narrator. It kinda ruined the chemistry for me.

I enjoyed catching up with characters from earlier stories in the series, but this story just didn’t work for me. In a book that is part of a series called “All Cocks” that focuses on the relationships of porn stars, I may not expect brilliant characterisation or plot development, but I do expect the sex to be hot. And for me, this just didn’t work.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Inked Rainbow Reads.

AH! This is definitely my favorite story in the series, I just LOVED IT! I kinda knew I would enjoy Beau and William's story from the little glimpse we got of them in the last story, and I was not disappointed at all...they just grabbed me right from the beginning and I didn't want their story to ever end.

I thought that this was very well written (I feel like it was the strongest writing in the whole series) and I really loved all of the guys from the previous stories getting involved and helping out Beau and William at the end of the story. I don't think it's revealing any big spoilers by saying that Beau is HIV positive, and that it plays a large role in his actions and how he lives his life. I thought it was handled very well, realistically, and smartly.

I just loved this couple and I recommend it, for sure! I think you will get more enjoyment out of the series if you have read the previous books, but this one would probably stand on its own very well.

I can't wait for the next book in this series!

I was eagerly awaiting for this fifth book in the All Cocks series and Live for Love certainly delivered.

Beauregard Boudreaux (love the name!) AKA Beau, has carved a life for himself in New York with a successful bar but also running an LGBT centre for a close knit band of teenagers. He holds a law degree which helps him to help others. But Beau is holding back a whole lot of pain from the past after the death of his husband fifteen years previous. He pushes away from forming any new relationship but when William walked into his bar and made his attraction known there was no stopping this freight train of lust from exploding!

William Richards on the other hand has lead a life of love and happiness with his family firmly accepting of his sexuality, he has been a successful model and now porn star. He has travelled the World but is now firmly established back in New York and although he has plenty of friends he has become lonely of late and is yearning someone close. When he first sets eyes on Beau he knew he had to have this man.

I was so happy when I knew these two hot macho men were going to be getting it on and I was even more so when I found out there was a bit of an age gap as I love age gap romance. It wasn’t a big gap though, only by ten years or so but whoot, these two were scorching!

It wasn’t all happy going though as Beau had a lot of the past to come to terms with and then he needed to reveal his secret to William which he was scared to do as once he had let him in, he didn’t want to lose him. Oh but this is big lovable William we are talking about, he was made for loving and to love!

The storyline touches on the serious subject of AIDS and HIV but is a great educator for which the author has done some excellent research.
However it wasn’t all doom and darkness, it clarifies how a couple could overcome the barriers this may have brought forth and how they worked through them.

This was a hot, passionate but romantic and poignant tale of love, family and trust. I really loved it and would definitely recommend this book and the series if you have not already dived in. Four and a half stars.

My Rating: 5 of 5 Stars

Wow! That was the word that came into mind right after the read. Live For Love is both familiar story yet it's not.

Familiar in that there is the usual romance laced with grief from Beau losing his husband to AIDS and his need to push any potential relationship a mile away to protect them against eventual heartache as he is HIV positive. Unfamiliar in the way this whole story was handled.

Usually, there is a whole lot of angst and despair and misery when we read a story of this arc, but in this case, I could say it was handled lovingly and with a whole lot of education behind every word. Much like how this series has been handled by author TM Smith.

I mean, seriously peeps, who would've ever thought I would be going gaga over a series involving porn stars? Sure, I look at the pics posted online, or those books but I would never have even bothered to read them. I have seen so many available and they are 99.9 1/4 % erotica bordering on the pornographic tales usually priced at 0.99 cents or even free. There is never any mention of feelings or how the characters feel. There is no involvement of love or relationships. With All Cocks, the focus is on the man behind the porn star persona. The individual who feels, needs and wants. Yes, William is a porn star but when he found and settled his heart on Beau, he made a decision that made sense.

Then the drama strikes... which I refuse to reveal.

One thing I can spoil: nananananana I read this and so should you. Be ready for an emotional ride that can bring you to tears and the smiles all at once and more. Love Beau and William. I think they're the next best thing after my favorite trio of AC bosses—Victor, Andrew and Matthew.

4.5 star review by The Blogger Girls.

This is the story of Beau, the sexy Cajun bartender we met briefly in the previous books, and William, one of the porn actors at All Cocks. William made a move on Beau at the end of the last book, but it sent Beau running and slamming walls in Williams path.

Here, the story focuses mostly on Beau, who lost his partner to HIV/AIDS quite a few years prior but who still lives with the grief of that loss, as well as now living with HIV himself. Fearing he is unsafe for anyone else and doesn’t want anyone to have to go through the loss that he did when Izzy died, he has lived a life of solitude, not allowing anyone to get too close.

But William is a persistent bugger and continues to push Beau for more. He slowly chips away at Beau’s walls until he’s made it through to that big Cajun heart. But before Beau lets anything go too far, he must tell William his secret and risk him walking away.

This is one of my favorite books of this series. There isn’t much to not love about Beau, and I’m a total sucker for that sexy Cajun accent. From the man himself, to the work he does at the LGBTQ center he runs, there is so much more to him than meets the eye. Thankfully, William sees this too, as they are a really good match. We also get to see how things are progressing on the All Cocks front with the lead trio making more adjustments in order to start a family of their own, and the growing family of employees (new and old) making appearances as well.

This was a heartbreaking story that warmed my heart in many ways. It did a very good job with the sensitive yet important topic but never felt like a tutorial. It was nice to see things evolving, and I’m excited to see where things go from here and am looking forward to more from this series.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review

We finally get the story of Beau and William! We meet them in the other books, but book 4 ends with William making a move on Beau and Beau completely freaking out.

Beau has suffered loss and a diagnosis that makes him feel that he isn't (and may never be) ready to move forward. William is persistent. He knows there is a spark with Beau and knows that Beau is interested, he just doesn't know why Beau keeps him at a distance. The two decide to be friends, and their friendship leads to wanting to be together.

Beau struggles with his HIV status and how to tell William about it. Now that he is finding happiness again, he is afraid to enjoy it too much in case William walks away. Of course, true love overcomes obstacles and they get an HEA.

We visited with a lot of the All Cocks family, and it was great to see them again. I love seeing where previous couples are and the potential story lines for the future. I am continuing to love this series and I hope we get many more stories!

TM Smith’s All Cocks Series gets better and better with each passing book. I think I said this about all of them but I’ll say it again, this one is my favorite.
Beau and William are beyond words fabulous for each other. In the last book we saw the sparks and in this one we see the flames!!!
Beau has a dark past. One that is filled with secrets and he’s dwelled there for 15 years. Then like a tornado, William comes and messes it all up.
This book not only addresses HIV, it builds a relatable story around the disease. Hearing about HIV is one thing, being pulled into and developing feelings for characters and finding out they have it… that’s different.
TM Smith did a wonderful job research wise with this story. I didn’t have one question in my head when it ended and that made this book even better. It’s not easy to take this serious topic and weave a love story in it.
Really amazing read. Great series!

Beau is a beautiful man that has cut himself off from getting close to anyone and does not want a relationship. He has suffered a great loss of his previous partner and hard to move on.

William caring, loving, lonely and I'm hot pursuit of Beau. William grew up with a loving family.

Beau is holding a secret as to why he is not willing to open up for a new love and scared. William finally breaks down Beau's barriers and their love for each other blooms

William stands by Beau when he learns the secret that is holding Beau back and stands strong and gives the love and affection to Beau that he needs

This couple is far by my favorite couple of this series. I love seeing the "family" of all the previous characters and what they would all do for each other

I sure can't wait for more books.

Rating 5 hearts

Blurb: Beauregard Boudreaux is a native of New Orleans Louisiana, born and raised there, he never thought he would ever stray far from home. The untimely death of his first love left Beau lost, adrift, looking for a place as far away from the pain as possible. Initially, he came to New York to visit a friend, the city growing on him, so he decided to stay. His law degree comes in handy at the LGBT Center he runs, but his bar is his baby.

William Richards grew up in Chicago, his family oddly normal and very accepting of his sexuality. Modeling paid the bills, gigs across the country as a model, male entertainer and a personal trainer giving him the opportunity to see the world. He hasn’t experienced loss or pain as Beau has, the common denominator between them is the loneliness. As All Cocks big, brooding bottom Connor, William has found friendship, family and an outlet for his craving to be more submissive than men of his size and stature usually are.

The two men are perfect for each other, their tastes and lives align and the writing seems to be on the wall. But Beau has a secret he shares with a choice few, a secret that not only threatens to keep them apart, it’s deadly. Determined to keep a wall between himself and William, Beau fights the attraction, pushes William away every time he steps closer. Can one man’s determination and strength be enough to tear down a wall that holds back decades of pain and darkness? And if he can, will either of them survive the flood?

{Disclaimer from the author: This book is the fictional story of a man living with HIV. I have put a lot of time and effort into presenting this story as true to fact as possible, without going into gory or gruesome detail. If this subject is a trigger for you, you may want to skip this read. But my hope is that you give Beau a chance to capture your heart as he has mine, and William’s.}

Well, I just finished listening to this joyous book, and now I have to try and tell you how good it was? Spoiler alert: it was awesome!

I’ve read and listened to all of the previous books in the series, and though it was great to touch base with characters, couples (and the thruples) from previous tales, it would work perfectly as a stand alone. Beau is a lovely quiet, stoic character who successfully pushed people away after losing the love of his life. As such, I was pleased that he was seeing a therapist (who we met earlier in the series and who is successfully living in a polyamorous relationship). Beau had such strength and sadness that I was rooting for him from the outset. That said, I still wanted to kick his ass for almost losing William due to his pig-headedness! Beau’s self enforced isolation was no match for the ever tenacious William. William is a low angst character, who worked as an All Cocks model/performer in order to give himself what he needed. I loved his character, and the fact that he relentlessly pursued Beau even when he was being a jackass!

Their pairing is perfect. William’s strength and resolve were so inspiring, and Beau was a hero to many of the young people at the LGBT youth centre. Again, as in previous stories, the strength of relationships amongst the supporting characters gave Beau and William the family they chose for themselves. The book is quite delightful from start to finish, and didn’t shy away from the harsh reality of life for an HIV positive man, the subject was dealt with beautifully by the author: no over dramatisation, and all the accurate facts. The realism was almost choking at times.

As always, the performance by Joel Leslie was legendary! Awesome voice characterisation, outstanding versatility and all the passion and joy I have come to expect from Joel.

All in all, this is a must listen!

I was given a free copy of the audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

***4.5 STARS***

Live for Love is the fifth book in the All Cocks Series. I have read all of them but they can all be read as standalone books. There are cameos of each couple briefly which is always fun! Before I start the review, I will say that before you start the book you should read the Note To Reader Section. Ok...this is Beau and William's story.

Beau was a New Orleans native but moved to New York around fifteen years ago. He now runs a LGBT Center to help teenagers that have been cast aside after coming out to their families. He also runs a bar and volunteers his services as a lawyer for the teens he takes in at the center. He is a very caring and giving man but something has been missing over the last fifteen years. Companionship. He lost the only man he ever loved fifteen years ago to AIDS. Izzie was his first and only love for ten years. He died that day right a long with him. He never thought he would love again. That was until he met William. A man that would not give up...

William has be modeling, and traveling for the last twelve years. Most recently he has become an All Cocks model and porn star. It was something new. It gave him what he needed. He had an amazing family that accepted him along time ago but the All Cocks family was also supportive, fun, and understood him on another level. Over the years, he has been with many men but nobody has intrigued him like the Cajun man that he saw at the bar one night a few months ago. The problem? They had one hot moment the night they met but Beau continues to push him away. He is determined to find out why. He knows it's not the lack of chemistry.

Beau and William have a connection. Beau hasn't felt this way for another man for over a decade but he doesn't want to hurt William. He doesn't know how Beau would react to the secret that he has been hiding from so many. His close friends and family know but he doesn't want tell Beau until he knows they could be an "us." William will have to make sacrifices and Beau isn't sure if William can handle what being a relationship would really mean. To his work. To his life. To his heart. When Williams finds out why Beau was pushing him away...will he run or stay by his side?

Beau and William might just be my favorite All Cocks couple! They have to go through some changes over the span of a year. They are strong, supportive, caring, and hot!! The book isn't only about love. It's about family, friendship, love, moving forward and learning that life is short. Live for love!

I can't wait for the next book...

Quotes:

“You deserve to be happy Beau; don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, including yourself.”

“I don’t understand half of what you say, and yet I find it so fucking sexy when you go off on a tirade.”

“Okay, the coloring book is awesome, I must admit. But, uh, glitter markers?” William teased.

Reviewed for Rainbow Gold Reviews. A copy was provided in exchange for an honest review.

The cover: I don’t always talk about covers but I really think this is a great one for the story. The image reflects William’s longing for a relationship that allows him to be taken care of especially when it comes to sex. I actually was able to briefly meet the model at a convention event a few years ago and though I don’t know him well, I thought he seemed like a genuine and kind person, which represents William well.

The story: I’ve been lucky enough to review every book in this series, so far. Each book has introduced such different and sexy characters, and some of them have gone through some really tough moments in their lives. They have made bad decisions that led to tragedy, been sexually assaulted, lost loved ones, and/or been emotionally and physically scarred in a war. Each story has made me want to wrap my arms around these beautiful men who have been damaged but ultimately found love and family with the All Cocks studios.

In this book, the author tackles a subject that I think is very overlooked in the m/m romance genre – HIV. With how little it’s mentioned, it almost seems like it doesn’t exist anymore. There have been big strides, medicines can help control the virus and it’s not as deadly as it once used to be. But it does still exist, and the men and women that have contracted HIV definitely deserved to find love. I know discussing risks and PrEP side effects isn’t romantic, but an HIV positive character can fall in love and make love.

As far as the story goes it’s fairly low angst. When William finds out that Beau is hiding the secret of his positive status there is a bit of touch and go with the emotions. His history of unconditional love from his parents makes it a lot easier for him to forgive and accept what Beau held back. Not to mention that Beau is the only person who seems to understand that despite William’s bulky muscles and height, he has no interest of taking control during sex.

The side characters in this story are great. Beau might not have had the supportive family that William did, but his former partner’s mother has taken him under her wing. She is sassy and loving. William’s parents have a slight problem with him falling in love with an older, and HIV positive man, but just like William they aren’t willing to let the risks stop them from loving. The members of All Cocks porn company show how much they are family in this story more than ever. I wanted so much to be part of them, too. I am more impressed than ever with this fifth book in the All Cocks series. I definitely recommend this book and the whole series.

Judging a Book by it's Cover:
A beautiful cover, designed by Jay Aheer of Simply Defined Art. Synopsis sounds more subdued.
Looking Deeper:
Third-person POV.
As the fifth book in the series opens, we glimpse a painful point in our favorite bartender's life. There are times throughout the book that are a little somber and dark, but it is balanced quite well with the antics of the other cast members, eventually drawing Beau into the light. Secondary characters include: previous All Cocks couples and throuples, staff and residents of the center, staff at BBs and a few minor others. In order to fully appreciate this book, I'd really, highly recommend reading the series in order for maximum benefit and comprehension.
I am finding it difficult to decide just how well I enjoyed this book. While I truly loved the main characters as well as the some of the newer characters presented that hint at a future possible story and the super smooth and well-written story, the plot seemed to hop and skip time a lot. One month here, two months there. It made it more difficult to develop a deeper connection to Beau and William and really feel their relationship and bond growing as it did. What I did love was the way T.M. Smith conveyed the dialect and accent through written word, I feel that it really brought Beau's character to life. I only wish that in addition to going to Chicago that they would have went to visit Alma. I was looking forward to that and it never happened. The plot seems to stop rather abruptly, but wraps up in a fantastic epilogue... again, leaving us with hints of possible future stories or side-lines. It was great to read more about how the other cast members are coming along, I enjoy the continuing time line and inclusion of other characters.
This is not a series about gay porn, in fact, there's a line in this book that struck the heart of this series dead-on....
(Quoting from unedited ARC, may be subject to change)
"...porn didn't define any of them. It was a job, nothing more. Their lives started when the camera stopped rolling, not when it began."

Well said.

One of the things I like best about this series is how every story puts the relationships and emotions of the main characters first, front and center. Yes, there are intimate scenes. Yes, there is the backdrop of the gay porn industry. And yes, there's an amazing cast of supporting characters. But for me, the way TM Smith brings them together and thoughtfully tells their stories is what keeps me addicted to this series.

Beau and William's story is the perfect example. William exudes youthful charm and optimism, and is not afraid to go after who he wants. Beau is reluctant given the secret he's keeping, even though William is really exactly what he wants and needs. I love how William is able to slowly chip away at the walls Beau's built, and how Beau opens himself up to the idea of letting someone in again.

Their story is sweet, emotional and once it gets physical, explosively passionate (mmm...that first intimate scene...talk about releasing pent-up desire...). It pulls you in and lets you experience a whole spectrum of feelings and in the end will leave you satisfied, happy, and even more entrenched in the All Cocks family-which is a pretty fantastic place to be. It also handles the serious topic of an HIV positive partner with the gravity it deserves, and shows how being educated and responsible is the key to making a relationship like this work.

I really liked William and Beau's story (and yes, I was reading Beau's parts with a Cajun accent in my head), and while it didn't knock Dare to Hope from my favorite spot, their story has its own special place in my heart simply for the love and passion the two of them share.

4.5 stars for Live for Love from me, and I recommend this for M/M romance fans 18+ for adult language and explicit M/M sexual content. While this could be read as a standalone, I would strongly suggest that you read the first four books in the series before starting this one as they will give you a lot of really excellent back story for all of the characters and increase your enjoyment of Live for Love.

That Book. The one where you need to just sit for a few quiet minutes when you’re done and let your brain and your heart and your soul catch its breath? This is that book.
Live For Love is aptly titled, bringing us the story of Beau, a man so deeply haunted by the legacy of past love that he’s built an almost impenetrable wall around his heart, and Will, the man who will dismantle it, brick by brick. The chemistry between Beau and Will is undeniable, but the intensity of the connection only makes Beau long for things he believes he can never have, regardless of how much he craves them. How can he justify his own happiness if it comes at the inevitable price of putting his beloved through the same torment he experienced? His pain is still so raw, even after so many years have passed, that it was impossible for me not to ache for him. Enter Will, whose playfulness and persistence shines a light in those dark corners, and gives Beau a reason to believe that he can love again. When these two men come together, the heat is combustible.
Of course, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how much I love the comradery in the entire AC family. Even as characters withdraw from their place in front of the camera, they stay front and center in each other’s lives. Throughout the series, they have been a constant source of support to each other, and can be counted on to provide some levity to ease the weight of even the heaviest subjects. Every new installment brings another opportunity to revisit where the lives of my favorite couples have taken them, and this was no exception.
I’ve been impatiently waiting for Beau and Will’s story, and TM Smith gave me more than I was hoping for. Be prepared, this one will poke at your soft spots.

William is 31, relatively young, healthy, living a good life, but he’s lonely. When he meets the somewhat reserved and enigmatic Beau, he’s captivated and wants to know more and spend more time with him.

Beau’s life at 43 has been quite a bit harsher and it’s not just anybody he’ll allow in. What feels like forever to the younger Will is the time necessary for Beau to grow to trust Will, to let him in on the secret he’s been carrying for decades.

Once Will finds out about Beau’s HIV status, he has some hard decisions to make – for him, his career and his friends and family. Do he and Beau have what it takes to make a risk like that worth it?

**

This is another lovely addition to the All Cocks series. Not one to shy away from drama, in this story we get Beau and his ex and their interaction which led to HIV for Beau and death for his ex.

I think the HIV is handled intelligently and with respect. I never felt preached at, but I did learn a bit about what it’s like to live with the virus. I think Will’s reaction was maybe only a little too “easy”. I think that combing one’s soul to decide about something so huge would take a bit more time and introspection.

I loved the accent and thought it added color and a bit of flavor to the story.

It was great seeing the other characters from earlier books, and I’m particularly interested in learning more about the baby search with Mattie and his men. I didn’t feel as close with Beau and Will as I have with other couples, but they were still a great pair.

If you’ve enjoyed the other books in this series, you’ll really enjoy this and though it’s best read as a series and in order, I think it can be read as a standalone.

Overall, highly enjoyable.

When you have a bull headed Cajun that pushes everyone to arms-length and a man that's not afraid to go after what he wants something is going to have to give.

Beau is a man that has gone through heartache once and doesn't want that to happen again.

William, a model at All Cocks, is looking to find someone to eventually settle down with and when he spots Beau (Mr. Motorcycle Man) at Tristan's office he just has to have him.

Being that William is not a small man himself he is constantly mistaken for a top... but that is totally untrue. In the previous books the other guys that work at All Cocks describe him as "a big nelly bottom" and that's exactly what he is.

Beauregard Boudreaux has a secret that only a few people know.... And that secret is why he keeps everyone at arms-length and what he feels will ruin his relationship with William.

This story is very well written, I read it in a matter of a few hours, I just did not want to put it down. I love that this author did so well with the issue in the book. She really did her research and did the characters justice in my opinion. This issue hasn't been dealt with in any other books that I have read and it was done very well.

I already can't wait for the next book!!

I received this book free for an honest review.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED this book.
This is my new favourite couple out of this series.
I don't want to give anything away with this review but the feelings shown throughout this book even though fictional give hope. There is everything in this story. Love, friendship, trust, loyalty, respect, brotherly love, passion, humour and some damm hot sex.
I think this is a really well written book with a difficult topic. The writing was respectful and educational. You can tell a lot of thought and research was done before this book was written and realised.
This is a light hearted read with a not so light hearted subject. There is so much humour in here. But I don't say this often a few tears crept out in places.
I have said this before but to say this series is based on the porn industry it is done with taste.
I love how through this series the characters are becoming more like family to each other and that is shown in spades in this book. I love how other characters are developed and involved in the current story. I can't wait for the next book and there are so many options of who the couple could be I can't even guess.
Oh and I don't think I have said this yet but I LOVED LOVED LOVED this book.

*** Copy provided to Bayou Book Junkie in exchange for a fair and honest review. ***

Beau has been only half living after his first love died, and while he's attracted to Will, who has been pursuing him relentlessly, he has a potentially deadly secret that might put a stop to any relationship between them.

I loved Will! Loved that he wouldn't let anything get in the way of him getting his man, that he was so mature about it all and that he didn't let Beau continue hiding from his feelings. My heart broke for all Beau had to go through, I think the way he dealt with his illness and how he wanted to protect Will just proved how much he loved him. They were sweet and hot together and just fit perfectly in each other's lives.

I loved catching up with the rest of the All Cocks guys. It was nice to see them all rallying to help when they were needed.

I think TM Smith did an amazing job with the HIV subject, dealing with it in an informed and sensitive manner, without going overboard and showing that there can indeed be love after being diagnosed.

All in all, a fantastic addition to the series! It was hot and romantic, filled with love, support, friendship and a lot of heart, wrapped in a well-written, delightful package.

This is the first book I’ve read from the All Cocks series. Although I was a bit lost in some areas, I was still able to understand most of the back stories. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review from Inked Rainbow Reviews.
The fact the author took the time to do all the research to make this story come to life is amazing. Beau and William’s story is wonderful. Everyone deserves a chance at true love, no matter what his or her medical situation may be.
Beau’s life with HIV begins when his lover Isaiah is infected. “Izzie” became a drug abuser while Beau was getting his law degree. By the time they realized Izzie was sick with AIDS, it was too late for Beau. Beau spends 2 years watching while Izzie slowly dies. Taking a little bit of Beau with him when he goes.
After months of William chasing Beau, William has finally been able to break through the barrier Beau has kept up around him all this time. William could never figure out why there was sadness in Beau’s eyes. Determined to have Beau all to himself, William is relentless in his pursuit. Finally, Beau realizes he has fallen in love with William and reveals why he never let William get too close. When William knows the truth he becomes the most supportive partner Beau could ask for.

Live for Love is book 5 in the All Cocks Series. You don't have to read the all in order but I do recommend you read Dare to Hope book 4 where Beau is introduced.Every book in the series gets better and better.
Beau has come to New York to begin a new life, owns a local bar and runs a teen shelter for the LGBT community.
William has had a thing for the big beautiful bartender since he first saw him and doesn't plan to give up winning him over, but will Beau's secret change things?
Live for Love is a very poignant story. It is a beautifully written story of a man living HIV positive and mourning. I can't tell you how many times I cried reading this book. I loved bothBeau and William. I loved the storylines especially what I learned about men living with HIV.
TM Smith has a way of bringing her characters to life and Beau is larger than life.
If you are looking for a heartwarming, beautiful romance you must read this!
I got a chance to listen to the audio and it was even better than the book. Joel Leslie was amazing bringing each character to life and adding the emotions. If you I highly recommend the audiobook!

I love this series and this book enforced my love for it. Beau lost the love of his life 15 years ago, hasn’t been with anyone since and he has a good reason. William is one of the All Cocks members and has wanted Beau for a while and has set his sights on him. These two are perfect for each other, they seem to balance each other out, calm each other and bring peace to each other. After finally wearing Beau down, William and Beau are together, but not fully, not until Beau tells him everything and once he does, he may lose William for good. This story handles a very delicate situation very well, kudos to the author. The book also shows the strength of friendship and love and how you can make it through anything with love, friendship and family. Great story and even better love story. I can’t wait to see who the next story is about.

(Closer to 3.5 stars.) Who'd have thought a book about polyamorous porn actors could be so...cozy? The family-like bonds among the All Cocks owners and performers are sweet, if a little unrealistic. For readers new to this series, it would have helped to include background about their relationships in the Cast of Characters at the beginning, or bring fewer minor characters onstage.

Beau is a well-realized, distinctive, lovable, and hot main character. The Cajun expressions and dialect helped to bring him to life. What made the sex scenes great was the depth of feeling and attention to the emotional significance of every physical move.

Aside from the challenges of a relationship with HIV, there was not enough plot and tension to give it a full 4 stars, but the relationship was so well handled that I'm rounding up. Hat tip to Meredith King's Diverse Reader blog for turning me on to this series.

This book was excellent and it was clear that the author did their homework and it felt very real. It was very refreshing to read a book with a HIV positive MC that didn’t have a lot of angst in it. This book was clearly done with care and understanding. I was honored to meet Beau and to see the relationship that developed him and William.

The author writing style was very good and made it an easy read. As I began to read I was able to really get to know Beau and William and I don’t mean just figuratively. This was an author that was able to bring his characters to life. We got to see the struggle that Beau was going through in trying to tell William of his status. But most of all we got to see the love that William was able to shower Beau with. This was an excellent book that just held me captive from beginning to end and was extremely satisfied to see the Beau and William was able to overcome all of the hurdles of building a relationship and get their HEA.

I love this latest installment in the All Cocks series. TM Smith is not afraid to write about the tough stuff, and you can see she does her research to get it right. I've seen this author's writing improve with each book, and this book is no different.

To be honest, I was concerned about the subject matter, but it was handled with such honesty, and was woven into the story in a way that not only was it realistic but compelling without being maudlin.

Beau and William balanced each other out perfectly. Their cat- and- mouse routine kept me entertained and when they got together -well worth the wait. They were fun and sexy, even when things got rocky.

As always, I was happy to catch up with the other models and glean some new info about their lives, gaining a glimpse into the future towards the next book, which I am SO looking forward to.
