I really wanted to love this one but it just never clicked for me. I realize I am in the minority here, but I was expecting much more, maybe too much.
So here's the thing. This book is well written and had the potential to give me all the delicious feelings I like to experience when reading this kind of stories, but there was quite some things that I struggled with…
The characters weren't developed enough for me to be wholly invested in their relationship. I didn't really connect with them and the storyline seemed forced. I would have liked to see more details on Asher’s life, to get more about the three foster brothers and to learn the real circumstances of the death of Eve’s parents. The story felt rushed with some questions that were left unanswered or just swept under the rug too quickly. Just my personal opinion.
Sure there were some hot, steamy sex scenes between the characters that I enjoyed. I liked Asher and the whole virgin alpha-male with a giant heart who would do anything to protect his woman and the sweet ending… It's for these reasons that I give it 3 stars.
When she thought everything was lost and had very little hope, Evie proved what an amazingly strong damsel in distress she is, but in comes Asher, the most PERFECT knight in shining armor!!! Both virgins and a completely obsessed H, by his Evie, it doesn't get much more perfect than this!!! And a surprise twist almost by the end, what are you waiting for?! I loved every second of it, and I can't wait for more of this contemporary fairytales, I devour them! True ROMANCE at its best!!!! <3 <3 <3

The only thing that bothered me is the lack of back story for the hero. It seems that it was all about the heroine, which is fine really but he was interesting as well. I wanted more information about his life and what lead to the choices he made. I found the plot hard to believe because at 18 no person can make you sell yourself without some kind of leverage (the boys don't count). The whole plot was a little wishy washy. I won't give it away here just that I love her books and how possessive the hero is over his woman, just the story was a little flat. Overall, It was still a pretty good book and I loved the epilogue. There is always a place on my shelf for the OTT alpha male. Loved it and keeper Totally safe both virgins.
This book is good even if it lacks of the developments. The protagonists fall in love from the beginning, and I don't know the reasons why they're into each other very quickly and when Asher started to love Eve. I have no idea.
All in all, the writing also overwhelmed me. I loved Asher's POV.
3. 75 stars Cute and sweet read! Again it was too short and I wanted more of a buildup between hero and heroine but I won't complain I enjoyed it none the less. I loved hero. He was such a sweet caring man. Heroine was a strong women. though at times she irritated me a bit. Cute epilogue wish we could of had more:)I would like to read about Julian:) I will definitely keep reading more from this author as long as she stays safe for me!
safety both virgins. I think hero might have dated and gone on blind dates not too sure on that but he never did anything. No OW or OM drama. safety gang safe!!!
This was a cute read. SUPER short, SUPER insta-love. I wish Asher would have been a little more "alpha".
As much as I enjoy these quick little reads, I am starting to wish that we would get more build up in these stories. I'm finding it hard to connect with the H/h's in these books lately because everything is on TURBO speed. We go from "meeting" to "I LOVE YOU" in one chapter. It's especially noticeable in this book because of the addition of her three foster brothers and the whole illegal escort angle. None of which is properly fleshed out because the book is too short.
YES! Aria Cole is tapping into the formula for a great romance! We have a h and H that are both virgins (yeah, you heard me right! ), no cheating, no ow/om drama, no love triangles, amazing H and strong but sweet h. Eve is so young, yet she is trying to do what she can to protect her foster brothers and get them out of a horrible home life. Asher, though keeping some things secret, is devoted to Eve and willing to do whatever he can to have her love. Thank you Miss Cole for listening to what a large majority of us readers want. ...a safe read with characters that we can fall in love with and root for. My only wish would be for an epilogue that is further out. I'd love to have seen more into their HEA!
This was short and mostly sweet. Unfortunately since it was so short, it felt really rushed. Now, I'm not opposed to short reads, I actually love them. But this one had so much potential and would have definitely benefitted from more. The entire time I felt like it was just missing something.

Are you a fan of sweet happily ever after? A protective alpha hero? A love at first sight romance? If so, then White by Aria Cole has all the elements to keep you HEA romance fans satisfied.

Eve could easily run away but she wants to make sure she has enough money to rescue her three other brothers who are still stuck with their foster mother. When Asher Strong bought Eve, he knew she was the one that he wanted to spend his life forever with and that she is the one that he wants to give his virginity to. So if you are looking for a quick sweet HEA romance with a strong protective alpha hero coming to the rescue then White is the book for you.
Star Ratings: Heroine (Eve): 18yrs old – 4/5 Hero (Asher): 28yrs old – 4/5 Plot: 3/5 Grovel: none Cheating: H is a virgin! Yay! (so is the h) HEA: yes! Triggers: h was made to become an escort – no sex with others
Average score: 3.5/5
Best Line: “I needed to make her mine. It felt so fucking pointless without her. Someone to love and hold and protect. I’d achieved everything I’d set my sights on achieving in life, except the one thing I needed most. Her love.”
Worst Line: “Dresses hang here, a few pairs of pants, but I prefer dresses. I want you to look feminine when we go out”
Personal Review: Whoa this was a fast read – so much happened in such a short amount of time. It was a little too unrealistic but I enjoyed the ride.
Random Ramblings: •My heart broke for her 3 foster brothers •These guys fell in love and broke each others’ hearts in one day!! •I wonder whether the brothers will get their own stories
*PS: I was given an copy of this book. But I do solemnly swear that I am up to...good. ;) This is a fair and honest review of this book, pinky promise.*
This was ok, but the lack of communication drove me nuts! Why did he let her stay in that horrible situation? He had the resources to help.
I also could not understand why they never had a conversation until there is drama. And I did not get his guilt. He did ZERO wrong! And she totally overreacted! Other than that, it was entertaining and I really hope her brothers eventually get their own HEAs. They seem like sweet kids.
I went into this book expecting a short novella with a lot of steam. I was surprised to also get a story that sucked me in and had me sitting on the edge of my seat dying to find out how Asher and Eve were connected before Eve was bought in the auction.
I couldn’t put the book down I just had to know what lead Asher to his obsession with Eve. Add in a load of steamy sex scenes and an alpha who was possessive, sweet and sensitive and I was instantly in love with Asher.
Pretty good story of a girl who is being sold to fund her foster mother's lavish lifestyle. The man who buys her is a mysterious billionaire who is a virgin. He has some connection to her past.
Pretty good book, but I felt it was missing something. Maybe there was TOO much mystery of their entwined past. Not sure what it was, but I felt it only deserved 3 stars.
I wish I had liked this more but it was just too cheesy for me and it just starts off and BAM H loves the h already and is thinking all this poetic stuff. I just never really understood why he loved her so much. I liked how obsessed he was with her but the h kinda annoyed me in the end. I liked that they were both virgins though!!
The story felt off. It felt forced. I had no emotional connection. No character development. I would have liked to understand from the beginning why Asher needed to get 18 year old Eve. It felt creepy. I understand that the author was trying to have the reader anticipate WHY, but it did not fit with this story.
I liked it, but what... she just forgot that Asher was one of the people responsible for her parents death. Her knowing him for two days trumps her loyalty to her parents. We know he's completely obsessed and a virgin like her which is nice but a little resistance wouldn't have gone amiss.
I think AR and AC are very similar in what they aim to achieve. But Aria Cole rushes and skims details of her characters (esp when they have a past) which makes a book leading to me not enjoying it. AR at least keeps the story simple.
Loved this one! Both Eve and Asher are virgins. Eve overcomes terrible circumstances and Asher is haunted by something from his past. They each help the other overcome their terrible pasts and fall in love. Asher is beyond sweet and patient with Eve, totally swoon worthy! 100% safe read.

Idk how to feel about this book. It's kind of sweet yet also creepy in a way.
Eve's parents died in a car crash when she was just six yo, and the car that hit them had Asher and his friend. Eve's parents and the Asher's friend died that night. Since the accident, Asher has been harboring his guilt and vowed to look for Eve. He spent the last 12 years looking for her and he found her 2 months before her 18 birthday. He also found out that her foster mom signed her up for an auction. He bought her for half a million with a two year bond.
Like I said, this was sweet because Asher has been protective, thoughtful, and caring with her. But it was also creepy because he said he's been waiting for her all these years and he's in love with Evie! That only means he's in love with her since she was a minor, and seriously that's giving me the ick. Also, how can he be in love when he only found her two months ago? Maybe he's in love with the idea? Or maybe it's the guilt he has been carrying for years? Idk tbh.
Also, when Asher finally confessed about the crash, Evie got mad and went back to her foster home to ask some advice from her foster brother. And next thing happened, her brother was hit by their foster mom and she was sent to the auction warehouse again. Asher found out about this, and he rescued her and her brother. After that everything was all good again, like the bomb he dropped didn't happen at all.
Anyway, I'm torn about this. I'm not sure if I like it or not. Sure, there were good things but I'm still uncomfortable with the fact that he's been in love with her since she was a minor and he's a grown ass adult. Well this is a novella and fiction so I guess anything can happen.

Velhasıl, no drama!
Olayın vuku bulduğu sırada my first time şeklinde ifade edildi. Alenen söylenen I AM VIRGIN cümlesini duymak istiyordum ulan ben!
Fantazilerimizin içine limon suyu sıkmasalar keşke. 😒
Şayet bu kısmı böyle boynu bükük bırakmasaydı yazarcığım daha hoş olurdu. Ama dediğim gibi, kısa kitaplar için güzel yazıyor kadın.

A sweet story like a fairytale...yeah that's what this is, when a girl after suffering for years by the "monster" woman who was her guardian in foster care the prince came to her rescue and OMG it was quite intense and enjoyable reading it.
"This man owned his presence. This man dominated the room. He was a terrifying and beautiful example of everything a woman craved and feared. I's never met anyone so utterly appealing."
Mr. Strong has everything when it comes to a hero character, he didn't take advantage of her instead he worshiped her, he made her his princess. Also he is an alpha, a sexy male and only by his voice Evie melted and fell for his charms. She on the other hand is a gentle soul, who stayed strong for her three foster brothers and fought the "tortures" she suffered from the foster "monster".
"I grew up in a world few could fathom and none should ever have to. It was dark, cold, ruthless."
White is a fast pace story with all the great ingredients in it and has a huge twist (!!!!), i totally recommend it to everyone and i'm looking forward for the next story the author will create!!!

Such a great read! White started out as a dark story. My heart broke for what Allie had to go through but soon she was "rescued" by Asher, who has to be one of the sweetest heroes out there. I would have loved to read more about how he bought her out of her shell- but the mystery behind the purchase was too sad tbh. Both of them were the most beautiful bandage for each others' scars. The book was so poetic and sweet *sigh* My only complaint was sometimes it felt rushed- too many good things and too many bad things at once. I would have loved for the "mom" to be tortured more(i demand vengeance!!!) Safe read 4.25/5 stars
°Each other's first and only °Switching POVs °He's 28, she's 18 °Annoying dumb heroine °No OW/OM drama °No cheating or scenes with OP °The heroine was verbally and emotionally abused by her foster mother for years, she forced the heroine to do cam shows and do one-on-one Skype appointments with men when she was underage but she never stripped or talked to the men, they only watched her °Epilogue: several months later
White is the third book in Aria Cole's series of modern retellings of fairytales. I've enjoyed the previous 2 books, but this one didn't hold the same appeal for me. It's a little darker tale, with Eve having had a rough life in foster care and now that she's 18 her foster mother is selling her to the highest bidder.
I didn't mind the storyline so much, the premise was intriguing and I was interested to see how this story would play out. But the execution didn't work for me. All I kept thinking was, she's 18 now, she could leave her foster home and get help. I know she was worried about leaving her "brothers", and she really didn't have the means to leave, but to me the idea of her foster mother selling her at this point didn't make sense.
I also had trouble with Eve's immediate attraction to Asher. The flirting, the teasing, it was uncomfortable. She's been in a horrible foster situation, but she's just willing to accept that this man, who bought her, is a good guy, when she knows absolutely nothing about him, other than he seems nice and has money. Sorry, but no. And the age difference- I have a real problem with a 30 year old man who is basically obsessed with an 18 year old, it's just not for me.
I think this story had a lot of possibility, but unfortunately for me it fell flat.
