Sally is a sweet historical romance. This is the sweet version of the previously published book, The Bounty Hunter's Bride (Timber Valley Brides book 2).

Bounty hunter Fitz Callahan arrives in Timber Valley on a job. That's all this is. He's on the hunt for a certain woman, he'll deliver the kid who's hired him to find her and then he's gone. Done. Out of here. He's not used to civilization or domestic life. But when Sally Tucker turns out to be charming, beautiful and good at heart, he ends up wanting that to change. Love isn't possible for a man like him—or does he have a chance?

The Bounty Hunter's Bride by Jillian Hart
Timber Valley Brides Series Book Two
Fitz Callahan was a rough man with a heart of steel. He needed to be to survive. The life of a bounty hunter was a solitary life for a man. It fit him well. Until the day a young boy looked up at him with his big eyes and asked if he could hire him. A young boy that reminded him of himself as a child. How could he say no?

Sally Tucker had sadness and loss in her life but she didn't let it change how she lived her life. She loved people and her town and faced each day and each person with a smile. She had love once in her life and never expected to find it again. Until he rode into town...

Another wonderful story. Otis, the young boy, really adds a lot to the story. A young boy with hope and trusting the big bad bounty hunter will help him. Be sure to read the first story in this series, High Mountain Bride.

Nice story..

This was so much better than High Mountain Bride, and I just loved Fitz, Sally and Otis. It was a great love story. It was a story of discovery and years lost. Fitz was just a big teddy bear and everyone was afraid of him, except Sally, of course. And when Otis offered Fitz his only five pennies to find his mother I was hooked.

This was another quiet kind of desire, like High Mountain Bride, and I liked that about it. It doesn’t have to be a hot, frenzied kind of desire to be good. Mellow is nice, too.

There was some kind of descriptive sex in this story but not one swearword.

It was such a sweet love story. I love westerns.

Fitz has spent most of his time being a bounty hunter. He grew up as an orphan and soon learned to shut off his feelings.

When he meets Otis and is offered five cents to find Otis's mother, his heart melts just a little. Then time spent with the young boy melts a little more. By the time they find Sally, working as a waitress, he's got an attachment to Otis. Then Sally is quickly added to that attachment.

This was a great story about three lonely people who come to care for each other quickly.

Sexual situations, clean language.
