Alexis Michaels is a normal teenage werewolf. After her parents' mysterious disapearance she was left in the care of her Alpha where she was constantly taken advantage of.
One night after being continuously beaten up by a pack member and almost raped, she runs away.
She ran far but because of her misfortune she falls upon Vincent territory.
The Vincent twins were known to be the most horrendous of people. They were respected by all and when found on their land Alex is forced to pay for her trespassing.
The boy, Payne just so happens to be Alex's mate but with everything life has thrown at them both is it possible love can be formed between the two? Both have had their own share of hell, Payne more so but does he have a heart when it comes to Alex? could he love her and be a mate? And if not, Will Alex survive on Vincent Territory? After all, she has to pay for trespassing.
I was obsessed with werewolf/fated mates and now I can see why… 🤣😭 I appreciate the creativity and craftsmanship that went into creating and expanding the A/B/O dynamics Definitely go to reread more gems from my wattpad library in the omegaverse 🫣🤭
This book just lacked depth. Where was the build up? Where was the climax? Where was the resolution? Alexis also suddenly gained confidence out of no where. Typical Wattpad that invests too much in the characters and not enough in the plot. Also considering it's about werewolves there was hardly and werewolf action.
I actually had very low expectations for this book, but I’ll let you know I was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed it! I was in the mood for a werewolf story, and this was the first one I found, so I gave it a chance. I was kind of unimpressed with the overview of this book, but I overlooked it and started reading it anyway.
It started out a bit shaky - honestly it was a bit sloppy and kind of fast paced. But, after a few chapters, things started to slowly improve. The writing (and language) got a lot better throughout the book! The character development was exceptional, and I can’t help but feel emotional as I think back on what I just read.
Vincent Territory really surprised me! If I’m being completely honest, this book started off really bad. The first few chapters were poorly written and it didn’t really capture my interest... I don’t know when exactly that changed, but now, thinking it all over; I can’t help but notice how much the story improved the more I read.
I absolutely love Payne! In the beginning, I didn’t understand how I could EVER end up liking his character. Now I’m literally fangirling over this book, and I’m also a bit upset about the fact that it’s already over. It’s such a weird experience; to completely switch from disgust to adoration like this... but I’m not complaining!
I’m very excited for the new version of the book (which is currently being written), and I also hope there will be two more books like you mentioned on Wattpad!
(Fingers crossed!!!)
I give this book a solid 8/10, simply because of the weak and rocky beginning. Maybe I’ll change my mind once I finish the rewritten version!
If you like a good werewolf book (without the unnecessary violence and drama), then this book is definitely for you!🙋🏼♀️
I love this book. I read it a while back but I have started to re-read it. It's really good and well written. The relationship between Payne and Alex is strange but really good. Its one of my favorite wattpad werewolf stories
It was very well written in my opinion and i wish i could have been an actual book. I loved how he tried to deny it and push her away but she wouldn’t let him.
