It's my 3rd or 4th time re-reading this series. I love it, from the stories to the art to the "urban legend" feel.

P.S. Erin Megan just mentioned the author's other series, PTSD Radio, so I figured I might as well re-read Fuan one more time before delving into that one, which I've never read before.

Overall comment: So based on the mangaka's note at the end, that he really can't do ghost stories... Then don't make one???? Makes your work disingenuous and a cash grab.

well, I liked two of the stories (the one with the eyes and the one with the dying dude) but that's kind of it.
I loved the photos of the real places put here and there. it made it somewhat more creepy especially for native readers (I guess?).

This one was just boring. I only mildly enjoyed one chapter.

This series is interesting but unusual. Each volume is made up of multiple short stories or vignettes. They end after what I'd normally think of as the first act in a normal horror story.

Something strange happens... and then the story is over. The series is aptly named - the repeated tension without resolution sets up a real air of anxiety.

Pretty bad and weird “horror” manga, many couple pages pointless short stories with no story or makes sense 😴😴👌❤️

This was probably my least favorite book of Fuan no Tane. I still prefer PTSD Radio over Fuan no Tane as a series, mainly because PTSD Radio had a story even though it was in achronological order, and Fuan no Tane is much more short horror stories with random characters and no real story or connections between the chapters

Just boring. None of these stories are given room to breathe and this was by far the weakest and least scary of the trilogy. All three books follow the same formula, each story usually just ends with a creepy face and nothing more.

Short vignettes of anxiety-inducing situations! Wish a few of them went into a bit in depth but I guess that's why it's called Seeds of Anxiety.

The author recovers the "spookyness" and uneasiness from the first title, and it's quite better than VOL 2.
Some of the stories are quite the "adult fear" material, to be honest.
