When a cocky football player is forced to team up with the campus wallflower to take on a dangerous mutual enemy… there’s bound to be trouble

Reeva a painfully shy college student has finally accepted that she has been sentenced to a lifetime of being single.

Considering how completely sheltered and embarrassingly innocent she is, she worries she wouldn’t even know what to do if a guy ever magically noticed her somehow…not that it would ever really happen.

She’s pretty confident that she’ll graduate without her MRS. degree and with her innocence still intact. And considering what meatheads her classmates are she’s totally okay with that.

That is until the star of the football team awakens needs she never knew she had…

Tucker is demanding, arrogant and he thinks he’s entitled to everything…including Reeva. Although, he’s drop dead sexy Reeva refuses to give in to his crude and pushy advances. But the way he makes her want him absolutely infuriates her.

Of course, this just makes Tucker want her more. And Tucker is a man who always gets what he wants…

And this time he’s more determined than ever. He not only wants Reeva for her body but he needs her for something much more important.

The problem is he has a secret he can’t reveal without putting her in more danger than she’s already in.

Will Reeva let him get close enough to get what he needs and keep her out of harm’s way before it’s too late?

I very rarely give out one stars. Seriously, it's hard to really disappoint me in romance novels. In my eyes, as long as it's an OK story and an HEA, I'll at least give 3 stars. But this book? NO SIR. This book was ... weird. Just WEIRD. I can't describe why without some spoilers, so if you don't want spoilers, please move on to the next review.

****SPOILERS AHEAD****

OK, This book. AWFUL. It actually wasn't terrible writing. And I don't know what the hell I expected out of this super tiny novella. I usually get into these when I'm dying for something specific, but I can't find a full length I want to go into. I HATED almost everything EXCEPT for Tucker in this book. The leading lady..Reeva I think? Awful. I REALLY disliked her. Don't get me wrong, I understand where she was coming form on SOME level. Rape in college is a HUGE deal, especially with athletes, so I understood where she was coming from. What I didn't understand was why she SO EASILY lumped Tucker into this "you're one of them" category. I get it, he wasn't the BEST at the beginning. But I especially didn't like how much she threatened him at the beginning for simply trying to get her number to WORK ON A PROJECT....FOR SCHOOL. I get that he teased her a bit, but for her to go directly to "IF YOU DO THIS ILL REPORT YOU TO THE DEAN AND GET YOU KICKED OFF THE TEAM. I just thought it was FAR too much. And she was just, bitchy. And honestly, for her to GIVE UP HER VIRGINITY TO A SECONDARY CHARACTER ONLY TO FALL IN LOVE WITH ANOTHER ONE?!?! I felt horribly SORRY for Tucker. He was just a sweet kid trying to get revenge for his sister. Also, HATED Tina. Just hated her. She was not a friend, AT ALL. And Hakim, I didn't understand him AT ALL. What was the damn point of his character PERIOD??? I don't know why I'm so unhappy with such a tiny book, but this one bothered me.
