Seven patterns

I'm sure glad this was a free kindle book. I'd have been very disappointed if I'd have purchased it. There are only seven patterns in the book. I realize I'm very unique but I will not purchase a book unless I find at least 3 patterns I will use. All but 1 of these is just variations on classic patterns. Nothing we haven't all come up with on our own. But I will be making the cathedral pattern it's lovely

Good reference

The book has some neat Afghan good instructions I found links to several other books that I want to try. Have not made anything yet but plan to soon. Well illustrated , like placement t charts.

Badly compiled patterns

Patterns are sloppily made and missing stitches. Instructions are half-hearted and seems to be incomplete.
Very disappointed. Might be an issue with whomever
transferred this to electronic form. Reflects badly for the author.

Easy to read patterns

Patterns and directions are clear, though I haven't yet tried any of the projects so I can't say if they create the afghans shown.

Too easy, too common

I’ve seen patterns for these afghans in many places. I was looking for inspiration, but found none here. Not worth my time.

Wow!

Finally a free book that looks and reads like the author cared about what they were doing and giving. There are a lot of books that are just carp. Thank you Vicki Becker for caring enough about crochet to give us a book worth downloading and patterns worth doing. The book looks professionally put together. I gave four stars only because I haven't yet done one of the patterns. I will come back and change to five stars once I know I can follow the pattern, but I read through a few and don't think I will have any problem making some of your beautiful afghans. I will also look for more of your books. Free ebooks like this let us know that you do good work and care about what you put out there and make us more likely to purchase other books you put together. Thanks again!

I liked her designs , found the instructions easy to read and fun to create. I also learned a,few things I had not tried
