In the far reaches of space, past any regions known to man, a war rages on. The Geldarians, a peaceful race, have been defending their home world against the violent and savage Kresh for nearly a millennium. When it begins to look as though neither side can gain the upper hand, the Geldarians dispatch a scout team to search the neighboring galaxies for civilizations that may aid them. Disaster strikes and one of the scout ships is forced to crash land on earth. When mild mannered teenager, Zack Thompson comes across the wreckage... things really get interesting.

Robert Kirkman is an American comic book writer best known for his work on The Walking Dead, Invincible for Image Comics, as well as Ultimate X-Men and Marvel Zombies for Marvel Comics. He has also collaborated with Image Comics co-founder Todd McFarlane on the series Haunt. He is one of the five partners of Image Comics, and the only one of the five who was not one of the original co-founders of that publisher.

Robert Kirkman's first comic books were self-published under his own Funk-o-Tron label. Along with childhood friend Tony Moore, Kirkman created Battle Pope which was published in late 2001. Battle Pope ran for over 2 years along with other Funk-o-Tron published books such as InkPunks and Double Take.

In July of 2002, Robert's first work for another company began, with a 4-part SuperPatriot series for Image, along with Battle Pope backup story artist Cory Walker. Robert's creator-owned projects followed shortly thereafter, including Tech Jacket, Invincible and Walking Dead.

A pretty straightforward superhero origin; teenager gets his hands on the most powerful weapon in the galaxy, given to him by a dying alien. It kinds of shouts Green Lantern origin at me.

This is a less successful Kirkman comic, who weaved his magic on the Walking Dead property. The artist, E.J. Su, I am familiar from his work on the Transformers comics from IDW shows the reader why he is born to draw tech.

It was an unremarkable read, save for the art. I'd like to think the story gets better with the next issue but I won't be moving on from this free issue one from Comixology.

This really was very interesting and I flew through the pages on this here comic, a lot of alien drama and our guy Zach gets in the middle, and interesting things happen.

I have always loved comics, and I hope that I will always love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics or Diamond Comics or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on the international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I can. I Love comics to the bits, may the comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.

Very Blue-Beetle-esque, alien tech ends up on Earth. Binds to Teenager. Changes teenager into super hero.
