Pupil: Inspired By a True Story

Rate this book
What do you do when the attraction is wrong, but too strong to deny?

Adam Clark isn’t exactly living the dream, but he’s doing what he loves: freelancing as a pinup photographer. When he’s offered the chance to fulfill another dream—teaching photography at a small liberal arts college—the opportunity and the chance for steady income are too good to miss.

The only catch is keeping his head above water in a student body that’s 90% female. And stunning theater major Carrie Desmond isn’t about to let him drown, not when she’s there to save him.

Carrie and Adam fight their intense attraction for one another for as long as they can, but when a jealous rival uncovers their secret, their carefully hidden affair may come to light in a very, very public way.

*BONUS BOOK*: Relatively Torn: A Manhattan Heir Romance, a full-length novel from Zoey Long, is included at the end of this book, completely FREE!

I really liked this book. It was a fast read that kept the reader engrossed in the story the whole time.
The one thing I'm not find of is how it ended. I don't think their story is finished. I looked to see if there was going to be a second book but can't find anything. I hope she finished the story.,

Zoey Long's newest is a steamy professor-student romance set at an East Coast liberal arts school. Adam Clarke is a sexy pinup photographer, struggling to make ends meet in Brooklyn. At the suggestion of a friend, he accepts a post at a small college as a photography professor. There, he meets Carrie Desmond, a talented (and stunning) rising star in the theater department. Adam and Carrie struggle to contain their attraction for each other, knowing that it is taboo and they have everything to lose by falling in love, but it becomes impossible to control.

Long draws you in at once- making you fall in love with Adam and Carrie almost immediately. Their relationship is sweet and vulnerable and incredibly sexy all at once. I read it entirely in one sitting. You won't be able to put it down!

(This is a HEA teacher/student romance that's super steamy!)

Arc review For honest review. This story is of Carrie and Adam. Adam does pin ups and teaches Carrie is a student. This is a very sentral book. The characters go against what's the norm and love grows.very good story.

What a great story. I loved it and it was so hot and keeps your attention. It was fast moving and I hated to see it end. The things in their relationship were so true to life. I recommend it. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

this book is inspired by a true story so I expected to not end all of a sudden without knowing what will happen to Adam and Carrie. it was good but I hated the ending. I even sent a message to the author but never got an answer, most of the authors do answer their readers. so yeah disappointed.

This book is really sexy. The attraction between the two main characters is palpable and Zoey does a really great job with the tension of a teacher/student romance.

Loved it!
