“Saying Sorry” is a sexy lesbian story of Love, Anger and Forgiveness.
Having screwed-up again, Jo finds there is no easy way to say sorry. Repentance and forgiveness is a two-way interaction and the journey is not always easy, nor predictable. Each person needs to find their own way to the same end.
Note: This is part II of the L.E.S (Lesbian Erotic Stories) COMBO (Short Story & Short Film) Collection.
Warning: Contains graphic language and f/f sex.
How did this COMBO come about?
Originally this story was told as a very successful, very charming, AWARD WINNING lesbian short film that toured the festival circuit all over the world.
I loved Helen's original story and the film interpretation but I soon realised that I'd like to fill in some of the blanks and give at least one, more detailed interpretation, my interpretation, of what is really going on for these characters. So, I decided to write this short story.
So often we see films, specifically lesbian films, that have great potential, but just when things get a little bit interesting, where we could observe and experience the complexity of intimacy between women, the audience is slapped with a “CUT TO the morning after”. Although I don't believe every story needs to be explicit, just for explicit sake, I think we sometimes miss out on an opportunity to explore a valuable part of our identity.

If you buy the combination of book and short film, from film-maker/author Sam Skyborne, you are in for a treat.
The film is excellent - very well put together and I think it has won awards which I can only say it warranted - but the book takes you where the film could not... ...behind the bedroom door.
