Honoring a promise he made to his late mother, David Eastridge, part owner of SAFE Security, returns home one final time—to help his father find the culprit responsible for embezzling three million dollars from his company. It should be an easy job—his father already has a suspect in mind.
After a series of tragic events that robbed her of a father and put her sister in a coma, Autumn Sullivan was forced to take on several jobs just to get by. She’s an accounting assistant by day, an occasional service Domme on the weekend, and a thief-for-hire by night.
David’s strategy of hiring Autumn—as a submissive—backfires when he finds himself enchanted by her sense of humor and playful attitude. Determined to prove her innocence, he enlists the help of Malcolm Legato and Agent Keith Rossetti to dig deeper. This enigmatic submissive is openly hiding things from him. Her secretive nature and the bread crumbs she drops about her past don’t add up—not even when he assigns Jesse Foraker, his SAFE Security buddy—to tail her and search her apartment. None of them are prepared for what the FBI uncovers.
Falling in love wasn’t in the plan, but David makes her believe that she isn’t doomed to live a solitary life. Plunged into a world of lies and espionage—with a serial killer after her—Autumn is forced to come to terms with her past if she is to have any hope of a future with David.
Warnings: BDSM party games, sex toys, bondage, flogging, spanking, and a trip to the beach
Michele Zurlo is the author of the Awakenings, Doms of the FBI, and the SAFE Security series and many other stories. She writes contemporary and paranormal, BDSM and mainstream—whatever it takes to give her characters the happy endings they deserve. Her childhood dream was to be a librarian so she could read all day. Some words of wisdom from an inspiring lady had her tapping out stories on her first laptop, and writing blossomed from a hobby to a career.
David goes home to help his dad after three million dollars is embezzled from his company. Autumn has been through so much and works hard to get by. Autumn is the main suspect and David hires her as his sub to get closer to her. Soon sparks fly and David wants to uncover all her secrets. Entertaining read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Great characters with lots of depth and the story as loads of twists of turns. I loved it!
I am a huge fan of Michele Zurlo. I loved all the books in both the Doms of the FBI and SAFE Security. And in fairness, I have read the 3 books following Autumn and David's story. But, this book had a lot going on and not always in a good way. Maybe it was because it was a slower start than normal, or the odd relationship between them. I cant put my finger on it. I am certainly looking forward to reading the next 2 books in David and Autumn's story and hope I get the answers and resolution I'm looking for.

I have read all of the books in the Doms of the FBI series up to this point. I have enjoyed all of them. They are well written with a great combination of D/s along with the drama if the FBI aspects of the series.
That was a "wow" read - having read things further along in David's and Autumn's relationship, I was very intrigued on how they started out together. This did not disappoint, with two seemingly opposite people, who appear to not really don't suit each other very well, ending up together because they really are perfect when they are with each other
David does free-lance security work, and his dad, who he doesn't like, asks him to help him out. Dad's business has a few million dollars missing, and while David wants nothing to do with dad, he promised his mom on her death bed, that when dad needed help, he would. This is a one shot, as David really isn't going to reconcile with his father. He even went so far as to change his last name to his mother's maiden name when he severed all ties
The prime suspect, as far as dad is concerned, is Autumn. She works in accounting and started around the same time the money went missing. David is smitten with Autumn immediately, and while he is all Dom, she is a Pro-top. He makes a deal to have her as his submissive for a night, and the chemistry is crazy between them
Autumn has lots to hide, but stealing from the company isn't one of them. As things progress between David and Autumn, the secrets they kept leak out, and they share bits and pieces with each other. Some things come out they didn't mean to, and others are discovered along the way. One thing that is stable through it all is that David is not giving up Autumn, no matter what anybody thinks
Hot and sexy Dominant men all other the place, crazy chemistry and scenes with David and Autumn, and a baseball game that was far from boring! The mystery, and unexpected revelations, are in the story, but it all swirls around the main focus of the story, the romance and connection between David and Autumn
RE/LEASED is the sixth book in the Doms of the FBI series. Each book in the Doms of the FBI series stands alone. This one is the first of three books about the relationship between David and Autumn (Bree). Their story continues in the first two books of the SAFE Security series. Not to worry, this ends in a Happy for Now.
This story speaks to the aspect of trust in a BDSM relationship more than any other I have ever read. Autumn has secrets – many, many secrets. She makes no secret of that fact (see what I did there). Neither David nor Autumn is blind to the fact that the other has secrets, or that trust and time will be needed to earn those secrets. Since they have entered into a limited time relationship during his visit to solve the problems at his father’s company, Autumn doesn’t expect the time to be an issue. Her walls are tall, thick, and have been built since toddlerhood.
This is another one of those stories when I wondered why put in chapter marks; I’m not putting it down. This is a fast-paced, sexy, and romantic story with characters that I want in my circle. This is entertaining – and complicated. Fun, funny, and romantic, while twisted. There is plenty of suspense, heat, laugh out loud moments, and a few tears. Is it any wonder I grab these books as quickly as they are offered?

Title: RE/LEASED Series: Doms of the FBI #5 Category /Genre: Romantic Suspense, Erotic Recommended for: 18+ due to sexual content Grammar/editing: received as an unedited ARC copy / errors excused Received from: Michele Zurlo
I am voluntarily writing this review for this book I received through Booksprouts arc.
David left his father to make his own way after his mother passed away. He hadn’t heard from him in 13 years and he couldn’t believe he got his phone number. His father told him that money had gone missing from his company and he though that a women named Autumn Sullivan was behind it. Autumn was skilled in breaking and entering when needed she would use her skill when she needed extra cash. Autumn sister Summer was in a coma and placed in a care facility. No one could find anything on Autumn except for the last 6 years. David saw her photo and said accidentally out loud about how beautiful she was. David was brought into the office and then he found out Autumn (Bree) would be working for him. Autumn started to fall in love with David they had been spending a lot of time together as his sub. Things start to get dicey and a strange women who Autumn knew from the office would somehow bump into her at strange places and cities. Then things started to happen like a break in happened at her apartment. While all this was happening her sister had been in a coma and Autumn went to visit everyday. Attempted murder, embezzlement and robbery with twists and turns
This one didn't grab me. I am not particularly liking the SAFE bunch. Jesse and Frankie seemed nice enough in the last book, if a bit too . . . Brusk? But Dean and David? I didn't connect with David at all. He kind of reminded me of Malcolm in a way. The situation was similar, though David did do a better job of kind of being honest from the beginning. There were no outright lies happening here. But, although there was definitely a connection between David and Autumn, their lack of trust in each other did strain the relationship. The author did a good enough job portraying this, that I most definitely felt it.
I felt that some of the resolutions, or lack thereof, could have been more complete. As far as I can tell, that may be on purpose to perpetuate an offshoot series. If that is the case, I don't feel it was effective. I am not inclined to pursue the SAFE spinoff at this time. Maybe another time . . .
I read this series backwards...so imagine my delight when I get the book of ....Where. It. All. Began. David Eastridge sets out to help his dad discover who stole 3 million from the company when he gets distracted by a beautiful submissive. Nothing adds up when it comes to Autumn Sullivan except a whole lot of fun times and sexy scenes.
What did I like? Well since I already knew this was a HEA...it was great to finally actually read about how these two got started. With Summer in the coma....Autumn is barely surviving but still going to save her sister. It’s just enchanting to see a sister love her sibling so much. David knows something isn’t right about Autumn or her childhood but his fascination with her goes beyond what he is used to. Love their domination and SAM play.
Would I buy or recommend? Yes, I plan on buying them all in paperback because they are amazing. I’ve only got two paperbacks of the Dom series so far but this is going on my wish list to own. Great series!
Thoughts for the author? Love your books...great series.
First we meet Autumn. Her sister, Summer, is in a coma from a car accident that also killed her father. Autumn needs to pay for treatments for Summer that insurance doesn't pay. To do this, she has many jobs. She is an accountant and she is a thief for hire. She also does the occasional scene as a Domina. David is the co-owner of a security firm that is investigating the theft of three million dollars. Autumn is the suspect the evidence leads to, but she is not the culprit. We follow David and Autumn through all the twists and turns of the case. They start to fall in love, but is there a future for them? I love this series. I have read and reread them all. The author does such a great job describing everything and puts herself in there to explain the choices her characters have made. There is HEA at the end of the book, but then there is also a continuance of stories already told. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Re/Leased is another good addition to the series, but is not my favorite. David is estranged from his father, but returns home to help him out after someone has stolen from his company. Autumn has a sketchy past and is the number one suspect. She was raised to be a grifter and thief, but has tried to go legit to take care of her sister. David has to separate what he knows from his search into Autumn's past from what she is willing to share with him. I loved the characters and the evolution of their relationship. They both have trust issues and need to learn to communicate. The plot of the stolen money and David's father being possibly involved with money laundering was lost in the romance and left me with a lot of questions. That being said there is plenty of steamy scenes, sweet moments and suspense to keep your interest.

Our heroine has many secrets, some of which could get her in trouble. Our hero knows he has to dig deeper, but isn't prepared for what he finds.
This is book fifth in the series. It is written as a standalone, with only minor references to previous characters.
This is first and foremost a romance story with a BDSM theme and some suspense and intrigue thrown into the mix.
The story is well written and easy to read. The characters are well developed with solid backgrounds and they fit each other perfectly. This story was a bit more playful than some of the previous books as our heroine is a bit mischievous, but that just adds to her appeal. The intrigue was also well done and added another layer of interest to the whole story. Overall, I found the story to be very enjoyable and I continue to really enjoy this series.
Highly recommended.

3.5 ⭐️ This is an ok read, but I found it hard to get into for some reason - I have enjoyed others in the same series, but this seemed to be a little slow to get going I felt. David is estranged from his father and returns home on a promise made to his mother before she died - he is tasked with finding out who has embezzled 3 million dollars from his Dad’s company, and Autumn is a key suspect. They form a relationship but there is a distinct lack of trust which hinders them - she is very guarded as a result of her unique upbringing. She also has the pressure of protecting and providing for her sister Summer who has been in a coma for 3 years. There are some twists to the story, liked the idea of it, but I think the characters fell a little flat for me.

I say this every time I review one, but I love Michele Zurlo's books. This one is no exception. David is a partner in SAFE security, but when his father calls, he goes to help him. Someone has stolen a tremendous amount of money from his father's company. They think it's Autumn Sullivan, employee and part time Domme. David, a Dom, wants to make her his sub,. Now he just hopes she's as innocent as he thinks she is, because her convoluted past makes it hard to believe in her. This was a really good read with lots of juicy passion and danger.

In the continuing story of Doms of the FBI - Michele Zurlo does not disappoint. This wonderful book encapsulates Autumn who is a bit mysterious being investigated by David who is fulfilling a promise to his dying Mother to come to the aid of a Father he has been estranged from for years. When all evidence points to Autumn ~ David realizes that it is not her and their relationship starts to chip the walls the both have erected. This book also introduces you to another one of her Series, SAFE Security. She also doesn't disappoint as David is a Dom and Autumn well you'll see...
David has been estranged from his dad since his mom passed away. She made him promise to help his dad if he called. He called and wanted him to look into the stealing of 3 million dollars from his company. David went to help by checking all the employees out to see who did it. His dad suspects Autumn. David checks out Autumn thoroughly and all the evidence leads to her, but he doesn't believe she is guilty. It goes from mystery to romance to action. This book has it all. Well worth the read.

Autumn has lived by the seat of her pants for years. David happens to step into her life and turns it upside down really unballencing her life. When they get together their relationship is totally explosive. She ends up being Davids helper instead of being part of his subject for investigation. They get together to catch the real criminal. David and Autumn end up falling for each other and there is a huge revelation which turns Autumns life upside down. Great story. Different from the rest of the series in fun ways.
David and Autumn are a strange couple, but they work well. Autumn has had a rough life and resorts to criminal endeavors to make the odds and ends of her life work out. David is….stalkerish and keeps pushing her. Their quest to figure out if they can trust each other is an adventure. They have great chemistry, the BDSM aspect of this book is pretty different from the rest of the series, which makes it extra interesting. Hot chemistry, well written, and great supporting characters round it out. I enjoyed it!
The author is a pro at weaving suspense, romance and BDSM aspects beautifully.
Autumn has a unique and hard background. David is hired by his dad to investigate money being stolen from him and quickly David puts Autumn in his radar. The relationship between the two heats up quickly and is dynamic. I also enjoyed how these two made me feel. I love when I am so invested into the characters that I am frustrated with one or both of them and then over joyed when they get there act together. Autumn and David did this to me. I found myself lost into their journey.
Autumn Sullivan has lived by her wits for years. David Eastridge invades her life andv upsets the balance. Together they are explosive both in the bedroom and out. She goes from being the subject of David's investigation to helping out the investigators catch the real suspects. Along the way David and Autumn fall in love and a huge revelation turns Autumn's life on its ear.
Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, the mixture of danger, action, BDSM, romance and unexpected twists resulted in an epic story which I could not put down. I will definitely be reading more of Michele Zurlo's books, starting with the beginning of this series but I do want to find out what is in store in the Safe Security series for Autumn and the team.

Re/Leased is the fifth book in the Doms of the FBI series and is a hot and steamy romantic suspense story.
This is an amazing story with terrific characters who have explosive chemistry together. The storyline is intriguing and involves embezzlement, secrets, danger, and intrigue. I love the way that this author continues bringing the characters from the other books in the series to help with the investigations.
I love reading books buy Michele Zurlo especially books in this series. The characters are fun, the sex is hot and the stories are exciting. Every time I start one of her books I feel like I have opened a box of chocolates from my favorite store and I know that it’s going to be great it is just what new chocolates or rather situations will be in there. I recommend these books highly.

This book serves as both Doms Of The FBI Series Book 5, and the introduction to the SAFE Security Series. Deception, danger and trust rule this story. Finding the path to the truth and to trust, whilst avoiding both the authorities and the bad guys, is a long and winding path. David and Autumn meander it together, with the help of many of the past Doms Of The FBI and their partners.

David and Autumn’s story was just as good if not better than the previous entries in this series. David being the protector he was born to be Autumn brought out all of those instincts in him to save her but that was not easy with the obstacles from her past. This book has some sizzling chemistry and lots of passion between these two..

Book five in the "Doms of the FBI" is actually a crossover into another series by Ms. Zurlo. Also, the relationship between our main characters David and Autumn is too big for one book. It will actually take three books over the two series for them to reach their HEA. I won't give any spoilers but I will tell you to hold on for a wild ride.

I have been trying to read all of the books in the Dom's of the FBI series up to this point these have such a great combination of D/s but the intrigue of a FBI drama. David is hired by Autumn's dad to investigate money being stolen from him the two are charismatic and totally hot together. You can not put this book down, Michele gives you hot men, steamy sex scenes and ton's of action with lots of twist in the plot you just can't keep up with. This is a real winner,
Just as wellwritten as the previous books in this series. Filled with a thrilling storyline and awesome characters. I love the chemistry between Autumn and David. Looking forward to read the next book in this series.

I am in love with this serie. All these alpha males are great, but David is my favorite, no doubt about it! And Autumn, also known as Sugar and other aliases, is a great, and would even say fabulous, female leading character. I highly recommend it and it can be read as a standalone.

What an amazing girl. No formal training or schooling, smart as a whip, social skills set to blend in any society and loyal to boot. I love the Dom series that match up smart, sexy and slightly socially awkward men to brilliant, amazing women. Well done and fun to read.
