The Gen Delacourt Mystery Series Book #6, Lock the Cellar Door, and Book #7, Midnight at Half Moon Bay, are now together in a single volume. Private Investigator Gen Delacourt thrills in these cozy-style crime and detective mysteries that burst with electrifying plots and excellent characterizations. She's real, she's flawed, she makes mistakes - but she prevails, and she rocks each and every story.
Amazon readers are saying:
"Romance and mystery without the need for graphic sex or graphic violence; just a great read!"
"As a former published mystery author, I know a good mystery when I read one. This has all the ingredients needed- a likable heroine with a troubled past, an interesting plot and great supporting characters. I usually can guess the ending before I am done reading it, but this one kept me in the dark."
"Finally, a good read with a plot. I didn't want to put it down."
"Written very well. I hesitate on rating a book with 5 stars even when I have enjoyed it but this one deserves it. The characters were so well developed and the book had a good plot. Gen is a strong and stubborn woman. She is like so many of us that understand so much around us yet don't really understand ourselves - very realistic."
"This is the first time I have been moved to offer up a review. The characters were well developed and the writing was excellent and the story line never let me off the hook. Thanks for a really good read."
Hello readers! I am the author of the Gen Delacourt Mystery Series, which includes Mark of the Loon, The Last Fairytale, Paint Me Gone, A Thousand Tombs, Swindle Town, Lock the Cellar Door, Midnight at Half Moon Bay, and The India Archives.
Lock the Cellar Door was spectacular! Kept me on the edge of my seat and up a few nights binge reading. Half Moon Bay was very good also, although not as great as Cellar Door. I love these characters, but I admit to being a little tired of the large number of chapters that end with "...and then I was grabbed from behind" so I'm hoping that while somewhat endearing, that Gen outgrows some of her penchant for getting into unnecessary foolish predicaments.
These books are like candy I can't stop eating! How is this author not better known.
Another great addition to the Gen Delacourt series. I have truly enjoyed this series . The characters seem like old friends. My complements to Molly Greene.
I recommend this series for anyone who enjoys mysteries and lots of action. Men's character is a magnet for getting in trouble and how she recovers is brilliant.
