This book is sizzling hot. Some erotica doesn't have enough story, some has too much. Sam gets that balance and writes an interesting book that is full of incredibly hot sex from the first page to the last. Bring a couple tissues; maybe bring a whole box, because you will enjoy this super-steamy page turner.

Wow...first off this is my second erotica book ever and I was expecting to feel a little differently about this type of character but instead I was gripped to him like I wanted to pretend him or save him somehow.

Rolland Dexter, is a person that puts on a bad-ass exterior like a lot of males or sometimes females do at times. As I started off reading his story I was pulled in so many directions that left me happy and impressed with him. By the middle of book I wanted his story to never end. Then the most surprising thing happened, something I didn't see coming and the next thing I knew I was in complete tears holding my book while trying not to soak the pages as I almost screamed at the book for being too realistic about lives journey for most of us.

I could not recommend this book more! Yes, there's sex, passion, lust, family, love and heart-crushing loss--the likes of which brought my ex-husband to tears as well. This book is not what you're expecting and you will not be disappointed.

I really enjoyed this book as well as the whole series, this author definitely knows how to write some A1 Erotica. Yes there is tons of sex but there is a great story plus substance as well. I know as a reader there isn't a lot of good erotica books out there. So if you are an erotic fan, this will be a MUST Read.

This second story in the Dexter Vineyard Saga series is targeted perhaps at young adults as it deals with the issue of life choices and the respective paths Rolland has, would or wants to take. The associated consequences therefore are explicitly portrayed, thus leaving too little to the imagination of the reader.
The dramatic side of the book renders it more serious and thought provoking. On the other hand, the lighthearted way of describing the sensuous scenes brings in a lot of entertainment in between. The narrative itself is filled with some naughty, but shy college-like mindset and desires. The whole outlook on life is being rethought from that viewpoint.
Nevertheless, there are certain moral standpoints and subtle messages that are brought up by the end of the book.
Finally, it is a story of growing up and being given a chance of getting wiser!
