Reading this, I felt a bit like Toyohisa: Nobunaga's plans become so intricate that they are not always easy to follow. But watching him plotting and scheming is still a great joy. Weaving conspiracies into subterfuge, old Nobu finds efficient ways to get rid of his enemies and make new allies, putting Saint Germi's considerable skill as negotiator to good use. The two of them make a great team. Meanwhile, new players join the game and new mysteries unravel. Seems like this isn't the first rodeo in Fantasy-Land.
A few panels left me a bit confused about who was actually speaking, and some things seem a bit contrived, happening only for plot-reasons. Forex, the Octobrists go looking for Scipio to reunite him with Hannibal, to stop old Barca from going completely senile - but as soon as they find him, they literally leave him with the dogs in the woods. At least the parts with the dog and the cat people where actually funny. Overall though, this is still lots of fun.
