Randolf "Randy" Siongco David is a prominent Filipino journalist, sociologist, and public intellectual. He is an emeritus professor of sociology at the University of the Philippines Diliman and has been a fixture in Philippine media and academia for decades.

This was a required reading for graduate school I had a delightful reading experience (despite the enormous amount of readings I still have for other courses). Very thought provoking. It also prompts you to reflect too. More importantly, phenomena and concepts I barely understood before made sense. I rarely give five stars. But I loved this one.
