I get so happy when authors give us more of the couples we love. I’m glad to see further into Evelyn and Foster’s life- their wedding to be precise. It starts with an engagement, then goes to the week of the wedding. I loved that this was from both Evelyn and Foster’s perspectives. I loved getting to see them together, still in love, and happy. I’ll always think of Foster when I see any type of origami ;)

This novella was a fantastic conclusion to Foster and Evelyn’s story. I laughed, I swooned, I smiled lots and even got a little nervous for a second. I’m thankful we got such a beautiful ending for such a wonderful couple. I recommend everyone who's read More than Water pick this up!

“What do you call it when you end up right where you're supposed to be?”
“The perfect chemistry.”

I'm not crying, you're crying.

It is no secret that Evelyn and Foster are one of my all-time favorite couples. I mean, how can you not love them? They're sassy, and sexy, and swoony, and they kick you right in the feels! So, when I got the e-mail from Renee Ericson informing me that I got a More Than Us ARC I had to start reading it, even though
-My exams are starting next week
-I haven't studied enough and it takes tremendous willpower to open my textbooks
-I haven't slept for a while (who needs sleep when you can spend the night reading romances?)
-I feel like I've been trampled by raging elephants (thank you pilates, really!)
(the last reason is not particularty relevant but it hurts everywhere and I had to share my pain)
And I don't regret it. At all.
“You made it impossible for me not to fall in love with you, and it's going to be impossible for me not to love you forever.”

I'm definitely not crying
With the wedding approaching, we get to witness the last days Evelyn and Foster spend as single people, days full of sexy times, banters and incidents, funny and heart-stopping (not cool Renee, totally not cool), and be overwhelmed once more with hope, love and contentment! And then came the ending, the moment I had to say goodbye to two characters, two people I came to love wholeheartedly, who made me dream and grin and sigh and feel. And it couldn't be more perfect.
Thank you Evelyn and Foster. For everything.

Seriously loved this novella! This time we get to experience the engagement from Foster's POV which I loved. Then we were taken on the journey of gathering all of their friends and family together for the wedding. There is the same wit and banter between this couple as there is in all of the other books, but EJ's best friend, Wolfgang provided some great comedy too.

"What do you call it when you end up right where you’re supposed to be?" "The perfect chemistry."

This was so stinking sweet!! If you've seen my other reviews of this series, then you are very aware that I can never get enough of Foster and Evelyn. They are just so perfect together. I really enjoyed this little novella. Watching these two get their happily ever after was so beautiful and that epilogue was so cute! These two will remain as one of my fav couples. If you enjoyed the other books in this series then you cannot miss this wonderful short.

In this world, there is so much more that us, a place filled with complications and distractions, but in this moment, there is only us....

I loved this.... and although I'm sad that this is the last book for Foster and Evelyn, I was so happy with how Renee sent them riding off into the sunset. Evelyn and Foster are honestly one of my all time favorite book couples.... and that is because not only is their chemistry just off the charts; they are also so fun together!! Their back and forth banter, their love for one another, and the fact that they are true blue best friends, is what has made them so much fun to read. And as much as I absolutely LOVE Evelyn... I love even more how much Foster loves her... Foster absolutely adores her and the amount of his love for her came through in high definition in this final installment.

You made it impossible for me NOT to fall in love with you, and its going to be impossible for me NOT to love you forever...

See! Foster's sexy nerdiness just makes my heart flutter....

Throw in one of the sweetest most thoughtful proposals ever, their buddy Wolfgang adding some extra comedy, a small blip of angst ( that I must admit made my heart stop for second) , and some dreamy " I do's" ; and this was the perfect ending for Fozzie and EJ. Also a super cute mini epilogue a few years into their future!

So... If you've loved Evelyn and Foster from the beginning like me with More Than Water, then their sweet Christmas novella More Than Kisses, you will not want to miss this book!!!! And if you 've not met EJ and Foster yet.... You simply must go one-click the first book NOW.

More EJ and Foster...a perfectly sweet and deep epilogue that delivers on their growth as a couple. Foster is a sexy alpha when it comes to his EJ and finally she is a peace with her life and the forever she is about to embark on. A wedding is just what was expected as was everyone else...but your know EJ and Fozzie...they only need each other and 1000 cranes!

First, I love EJ and Fozzie as characters, and I’ve adored their previous stories where they really came to life and grew. You felt their chemistry and you fell in love right along with them.

So perhaps I had high expectation for this one, and maybe that’s why it didn’t quite live up to those expectations for me. I’ll admit I was expecting something more along the lines of the previous novella, which totally rocked when it came to sexy banter and adventures. But the steamy scenes are sorely missing here. This installment honestly just felt flat, and then it ultimately serves up some heartache in their wedding HEA, which I found disappointing. I’m not a fan of angst for drama sake and what happens, for me, took away from their special occasion via a romance troupe that I'm not fond of. And then time jumps rather awkwardly into a later future that I would have much rather enjoyed in its own novella—certainly another story, another segment of their life, for another day that isn’t sufficiently expanded on here. All in all, it just felt rushed and lacking key elements.

While still told via Evelyn and Foster’s dual first person point of view, this edition doesn’t possess the upbeat, spunky tone that readers have come to enjoy with these stories. And while serving to conclude their story, it left me feeling more unsettled. I understand this is supposed to be the final chapter for these characters, but I really hope Renee Ericson isn’t too quick to close that door. Much like in real life, you never know when you might run into an old friend again, and I think fictional characters should be treated much the same.

Either way, More Than Water and More Than Kisses will remain two of my favorite stories. I absolutely recommend reading them if you haven't already, and I think I might even go re-read them myself!

Foster and Evelyn are one of our most loved couples so of course we were excited to be back with them. It was a final glimpse into what happened next and we really enjoyed it. We would’ve loved it to be drama free as that just seemed unnecessary, really. We love this Author’s writing- her characters, her sense of humour and her beautiful romance.

‘She chose me,’

This is a couple who are clearly soulmates, their love true and unconditional and meant to be. To celebrate their big day alongside them was all we needed and the added touches of romanticisms had us swooning. The epilogue was a beautiful added touch that just had our hearts melt. We feel all happy and smiley now!

4.5- Perfect chemistry- Stars

“You made it impossible for me not to fall in love with you, and it's going to be impossible for me not to love you forever.”

More Than Water was one of my favorite reads this year. The story of Evelyn and Foster was so different, than any other books I’ve ever read, so I instantly fell in love with this humorous, funny story which also has so many messages. And now the time has came, when I have to say goodbye to my favorite sexy-geeky engineer and sassy, funny artist. And this little novelette was so great! I laughed, I swooned and I fell in love again. The story starts with the engage scene which we could read before on the website of the author. I loved the origami cranes and I loved that the whole wedding was so EJ-Fozzie style.

“I would happily drown in the depths with you, just like you dreamed as a child, but I would much rather see you free. I want you to fly, and I was hoping you’d be willing to do so with me at your side.”

 photo MoreThanUs4.jpg

I'm just gonna be over here, wiping away the happy tears and swooning all over this wedding.

 photo MoreThanUs1.jpg

I'm a hard cookie to break when it comes to tears and super, sappy emotion stuff in life. But one thing is for sure that makes my eyes water. IT'S WEDDINGS!

And Foster and Evelyn's was no exception.

From the moment the SAVE THE DATE was sent out, to the WEDDING INVITATION arriving, I was giddy with anticipation to be reunited with one of my favorite couples. And what better way to attend this wedding, than getting a first hand view mostly through Foster's eyes. The deep love he has for his bride-to-be is truly astronomical!

"Ready?"
"You have no idea."

 photo MoreThanUs2.jpg

I fell in love with this couple so hard. Since MORE THAN WATER, I could not get enough of this lovable geek and the woman that would capture his heart in a tight leather skirt and an out spoken personality. She was everything he was looking for and didn't even know it. And here they are, embarking in the journey of a life time. A union so profound, how could it not bring tears to my eyes?

 photo MoreThanUs3.jpg

I'm sad to see the love story of Evelyn and Foster come to an end, but I am so happy to have taken that trip right along with them and experience such love and beauty.

***** 5 STARS *****

Before I start, we need to set the pace.

Yes! We have a wedding at the beach! EJ and Fozzie are back to say goodbye.

I fell in love with them on More than water. Such extraordinarie characters, such a great story. And now we have the closure we always wondered since the thousand Tsurus. Of course being them we could only have this great party at the beach. Nothing would fit them better. We can also check on all of their friends. Even Wolfie is back to make us laugh out loud with the shorts problem (am I the only one who missed Mr. Turner?)

And for Evelyn and Foster, we could see that they're just perfect together. Nothing can break them apart. Really, nothing! And of course, we have more tsurus. It made me swoon since the beginning and I saw myself with a silly smile at the end. It's simply perfect and I'll miss them so much.

So thank you Renne for this wonderful novella. It was the perfect ending for a perfect love story.

“You made it impossible for me not to fall in love with you, and it’s going to be impossible for me not to love you forever.”
This is another novella for EJ and Fozzie. So if you haven’t read More than Water, you need to because it’s one of my favorite books. It’s pure magic with an incredible artistic flare to the story. You need to read it before you read this novella too. EJ and Fozzie found a special place in my heart and it was hard to let them go. Luckily Renee couldn’t let them go either and gave us their wedding!
“In this world, there is so much more than us, a place filled with complications and distractions, but in this moment, there is only us.”
EJ and Fozzie are opposites who meet in college. They go through their ups and downs, but their love is strong and they make it despite life. And now it’s their wedding!
I’m swooning and smiling because EJ and Fozzie are still so in love! For this tiny novella, I have so many beautiful quotes highlighted and it’s impossible to share them all. I especially love how EJ is so soft with him. She’s normally a tough girl, but she gets girly and mushy with Fozzie.
“You’re my forever. You’re my Fozzie.”
“All she wants to do is marry you and have, like, ten thousand of your geeky babies.”
And of course, there is Fozzie, my hot little geeky stud. Fozzie does smart and geeky right and I still love that about him. He is absolute perfection and together they are perfect. This was the perfect ending to EJ and Fozzie’s story. It’s complete with a beautiful picture of not only their wedding, but their future with kids. It’s bittersweet because the story needs to end and yet I hate saying goodbye to one of my favorite couples. Well, I’m in a happy place right now and you will be too when you read this. I definitely recommend all the books about EJ and Fozzie. Happy Reading!
“The world fades away, like water flowing over lava, and all that’s left is the woman standing next to me. We are bonded by marriage and love. We are no longer two but one.”

5 stars by Jen SkewesMore Than Water is one of my absolute favorite books. I fell in love with Foster and Evelyn. Two people who were just so perfect together. I, like everyone else who read their story wanted more of them. That is how much we loved them. We needed that extra little bit of them, to see a glimpse into their future and their happily ever after. And that is exactly what More Than Us has given us. I don’t really need to go into detail about what this book is about. All you need to do is look at the stunning cover and read the blurb and you will know. What I can say is that this novella is everything that I could have hoped for. It gave me exactly what I needed where these two are concerned.

You know when you read a book and just fall so in love with the characters that you become selfish and want so much more of them? Well that is exactly how I felt after reading More Than Water. EJ and Foster were one couple that just stayed with me and I wanted so much more of them. I know that at times when you read a follow up novella to your favorite story, it feels more like it was written for the sake of being written. I can honestly tell you that this is NOT the case here at all. Renee Ericsson did such a wonderful job with the ending to their story. This novella was written for Evelyn and Foster. It was written for all of the readers who loved them as much as I did. This is that extra bit of Foster and EJ that we all needed. This is the part of their story that needed to be shared with everyone. It was amazing and filled with so much beauty and love. If you thought you loved Foster and Evelyn in the first book, then just wait, because you will love them even more.

Everything about this novella was the two of them, from the proposal, to the cute and adorable way that they still flirt with each other, to the ways that these two will just make you smile over and over again. And yes I smiled for a majority of this book because I was just so giddy to have these two back. They are still the fun loving, adorable couple that we first saw. There are still very much in love and looking forward to their future. From the beginning to the very end I loved every minute of it. I was sad to have to say goodbye to these characters, including Wolfie, but this book gave me the closure that I needed for this beautiful couple. It was the perfect ending to a beautiful love story between two people that will melt your heart. Two people that are made for each other, because everything about them just fit perfectly together. If you have not read More Than Water yet that I definitely recommend that you do. You will thank me afterwards.

I loved this mini-novella/maxi-epilogue.
I loved Foster & Evelyn, I wanted more after their wonder story ended in More Than Water. I'm sure other readers wanted the same.
It was corny-cute. Super sweet.
Evelyn and Foster hit a snag on their way to their HEA.
As in real life, they had to work on it. The focus was on THEM. With a fair amount of help from a supporting character.
It's been nearly a year since I read More Than Water. I loved reading about this wonderful couple.
This epilogue made me want to do a re-read really soon.
This little story has to be read after More Than Water.

I would like to thank Renee Ericson for giving us one more piece of EJ and Fozzy!

More than Water is one of my all time favorite books, and these characters have stayed with me since I first read it (there has been some re-reads in the way hehe). I live that even though some time has passed since we first met them, and even them changed a bit, they still remain, essentially, the same.

And the sense of humor! Renee nails it!!! I LOVE geeky romances and this one is definitely on top of my list!

This is for anyone who fell in love with Foster and EJ in More Than Water. These two opposites have the perfect chemistry and will finally get to have their happily ever after. While I was excited to read this novelette and witness the beginning of their lives together, I’m also sad to say goodbye to two characters who will always have a special place in my heart.

I didn’t think that it was possible to like Fozzie any more than I already did. It was always evident that EJ owned Foster’s heart, but he really pulled out all the stops in this book…that proposal…swoon! For someone who believes that he is lacking in the dating technique department, he sure tapped into his romantic side.

“I read somewhere that a Japanese legend states that any person who creates a thousand origami cranes will be granted one wish. A life with her is my wish, and I am willing to do the work needed.”

More Than Us has all of the witty, flirtatious banter that I have come to expect from Foster and EJ. Throw in a good dose of EJ’s bestie, Wolfgang, and you’ve got yourself a good time!

As a reader who has been cheering this couple on from the very beginning, I couldn’t have been happier with where their story ended. From the proposal to their wedding to the glimpse at their happily ever after, I fell in love with the characters and their love story all over again. For anyone who hasn’t read More Than Water, I highly recommend getting acquainted with this lovable couple.

Truly the bonus novella we didn't realize we all desperately wanted, I am beyond thrilled we get to see EJ and Foster ride into the sunset one last time.

Renee Ericson has written a most perfect conclusion for our wonderful couple. There is an abundance of love, the unmistakable wit and comic timing I have come to adore and most of all there is the sweet devotion to not only each other but to those both EJ and Foster hold dear to their hearts.

From a marriage proposal as swoonworthy as they come to a celebration with friends and family, More Than Us simply made me happy. Even with a few unexpected bumps and dare I say, a particular wardrobe malfunction with the one and only Wolfie, nothing can truly stand in the way of EJ and Foster's happily ever after. But you'll just have to experience this crazy lovefest for yourself.

More Than Us was worth the wait and I'm reminded once more just how much I have treasured the time in getting to know these characters. I encourage you to read More Than Water first to see how EJ and Foster met and fell in love. A journey you will not soon forget.

As I told Renee, another book I finished reading in tears. Writing is always pleasant and read a bit more about these two nerds on the present and the future so beautiful that awaits them, it was simply amazing. I wanted those thousand tsurus and a marriage like that. But mostly, I want a love like theirs, it is so beautiful! They really have the perfect chemistry.

So, Renee, I thank you again for this book. It was very special the 'Happily Ever After' of Fozzie and EJ. They deserved!

Oh man, I loved this! It's a true talent to write a whole story with a wide variety of emotions, all the ups and downs, in a novelette. I was so excited to get more of Foster and EJ, as well as, a glimpse of Wolfie. There is no one like Wolfie, he is hilarious! More Than Us was more than I could even hope for. The writing and beautiful descriptions this author uses is a true pleasure to read. I'm so happy to have this glimpse into Foster and EJ's journey. They are a couple I don't think I'll ever forget. I can't wait to read more from Renee Ericson, I love all of her books!

Beautiful Ending to great couple-must read

That was the best proposal, ever! I fell in love with Foster & Evelyn in the first book. I love all their quirks & it was awesome to get to be a part of their wedding. And just when I thought I knew what was coming, I was surprised. I think that is my favorite part of a book & it made this book even better. I am sad to say goodbye to Evelyn & Foster, but I think this book has the perfect ending. I hope someday we can get a tiny bit more of EJ & Fozie in one of her new books as background characters. Who knows...

4.5 -- Thousand Cranes -- stars

I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of Fozzie and Evelyn. The banter is amazing. Their love is beautiful and strong. They seemed unlikely and opposites in More Than Water, but they have the perfect chemistry. They belong together. There are plenty of romantic moments in this novella that made me swoon.

In More Than Us, it’s time for their wedding. Fozzie and Evelyn can’t wait to be husband and wife. They are ready to start their forever together. They can’t imagine a life without the other in it. But something happens that may jeopardize their wedding day.

Wolfie is an amazing friend of Evelyn. He’s always there for her and he has the same type of humor. Also the in laws are great. They accept Fozzie or Evelyn in the family and realize Fozzie and Evelyn make each other happy.

More than Water was one of my FAVORITE books I read in 2015. I feel head over heels in love with EJ (Evelyn ) and Foster story. I was really happy with how that book ended. As a reader you always picture and create your own "After" story to fit the ending. In this book Renee Ericson gives us that perfect picture.

From the proposal...Damn Foster.. Seriously the thousand birds was the perfect combination of cleverness and swooning all rolled into one. So Foster, and I loved every part of that. I loved watching them give their forever's to one another. It was the PERFECT.

'All that matters is that she's my wife, my life, my forever in every single way." ---> Foster is the man #BookHusband

If you loved More than Water..Read this. If you haven't read More than Water do it, then read this immediately. You will thank me when you are through. #mustread

More Than Us continues the happily ever after of one of my favourite couples, Evelyn and Foster. The dynamic of their relationship really does make you believe in soul mates ♥

There are a number of truly amazing swoon-worthy moments within the narrative but it does make you think about the role of a wedding as opposed to the marriage itself. A wedding is for other people while the marriage is the thing that matters the most to the two people involved.

There wouldn't be a story without an element of angst within the narrative, thankfully it wa kept to a minimum and did nothing to destroy my feelings towards Evelyn and Foster.

Any More Than story wouldn't be complete without the amazing Wolfie, from Man of Honour to fish fodder, and then to a pivotal role in the future. You have just got to love him. Again I have to say I would love him to get his own story, please.
