Fear The Second Chance Institute. After decades of plotting and testing, the SCI stands ready to execute their plan and annihilate anyone who threatens it. They’ll stop at nothing and for no one—not the Deny the SCI movement, nor the Exiler Nation, Arbiters, or Genitors—even if it means war.

Fear Kira Donovan. Empowered, determined, and bold, Kira must persuade the Genitor leaders to stop the atrocities happening at the hands of the SCI. If they refuse, she’ll risk everything to do it herself.

Fear Ethan Darcton. Unwilling to submit to any authority, Ethan embarks on his own agenda, teetering loyalties between the Arbiters, the SCI, and the Deny the SCI movement on Earth.

Fear Blake Sundry. Rewarded for his sacrifice, Blake finds new life on Aether, an assignment to watch over the Exiler Nation, and unlikely allies in his crusade to save innocent lives.

I beta-read Generate, the third book of the Daynight series. This book has a ton going on. All the characters from the previous books are back and have their own subplots. Everything is just cranked up to maximum here...tons of story, tons of action, lots of drama and peril. Kira has to come to grips with what it means to be a genitor while the Second Chance Institute plans genocide on Earth, and rebels wreak havok and death on Thera. Ethan has to make his way between being an Arbiter and being part of the SCI. Jax continues to be Kira's romance, but he also must deal with the other arbiters and with the genitors. And speaking of genitors, the book gives a very revealing and exciting look at their world. Not only do we learn about Kira's abilities, but also more about B, the kid from Arbitrate, and about the leadership of the genitors. It really wasn't anything like I imagined things would be after reading Arbitrate, but I found it to be a great story. Kira has a ton of power and she uses it, but at a great cost. Every character gets great closure here, and its a fun read.

I was given an ARC copy of this book by the author, but all reviews and opinions are my own.

I have followed this series and Megan's amazing writing since the very beginning, and I have enjoyed every minute of it! The final installment of the daynight series was well worth the wait. The writing is on-point, the story engaging, and the characters have developed in such a way that I never could have expected!

Without including any spoilers, I can't write this review without mentioning how much I appreciate that the story truly has come full circle from her first book, daynight. It has progressed from a great YA dystopian novel with fun characters and a refreshing story to this full series whose unpredictable ending really has made me think and reflect on myself. For that alone I say- Well done Megan!

This was the best of the trilogy and had the ending I was hoping for. Incredible, unexpected twist that had been set up (and I didn’t pick up on it) from book one! Jax is my favorite! Loved this book and I have read the series at least twice and am thinking about reading it again!

I enjoyed the series but book 3 ties it up a little too "happily ever after" for me.

I was given an ARC of this book, but all opinions are my own.

This book was truly the crowning achievement of the series. The decisions in the first two books led to the wonderful, agonizing lives the characters lead. To see these characters struggling with decisions affecting billions is no small feat, but is accomplished gloriously.

I enjoyed these books very much and the world that started will keep me guessing. Glad to finally have the third book in reach.

Make sure to enter this series with open eyes because it will challenge all you know about life and the world around you :-)

The long awaited conclusion to the DayNight series. There is a lot going on in this book. This book in the series is truly big picture in addition to following the characters on their paths.
