Chris Santos with Rick Rodgers have written a very nice cookbook with beautiful photography by Quentin Bacon. The cookbook begins with a written introduction of "Sharing As A Way Of Life" which you will enjoy reading as well as his suggestions as to how to make it special, making your menu, stocking the perfect pantry, getting your act together, what you need to make it a party, and kitchen essentials. There are a large array of recipes starting with cocktails and I can tell you that the Beauty Elixir cocktail that has London dry gin and Champagne is not only beautiful but delicious. There are many Starter Recipes that look delicious and would be great for family gatherings or parties. There are Salad recipes and a Soup recipe. We loved the Asparagus Ribbon and Spring Pea Salad with Lemon Ricotta. I can tell you that Chris Santos's recipes are not boring. There are recipes for chicken, seafood, meat, pasta, vegetables and grains, desserts, and brunch. We made the Individual Beef Wellingtons recipe for family and everyone thought it was truly transcendent. We can't wait to try the Baby Back Ribs with Jagermeister-Black Cherry Cola Glaze. We also like the picture of the Lamb Souvlaki with Tzatziki and Lime-Harissa Aioli. The pasta recipes will make you hungry and we loved the Spaghetti Caprese with Tomatoes, Mozzarella, and Spinach. We can't wait to make the recipe for Pasta with Spicy Veal and Lamb Bolognese. We also very much enjoyed the Spicy Broccolini with Soy and Garlic. We are looking forward to trying the Devil's Food Cake with Vanilla Mascarpone filling. We haven't tried the Brunch recipes yet but I can tell you the Orange-Bourbon Pull-Apart Bread is going to be the first breakfast recipe we try. There are so many recipes that look delicious. I won this cookbook from goodreads first-reads and I am very appreciative to have won. I highly recommend that you buy, gift, but most importantly buy the cookbook, read the contents, make some recipes you have never made in your life and enjoy. I know you won't be disappointed.
