The message was still relevant in todays world but it was very old fashioned and I wasn’t expecting there to be any music in between each principle. I found that extremely cringey but I understand that singing could intensify the messaging this book provides.

Bob Proctor is a well-known self-help and personal development guru. He has outlined several principles for success over the years.

I decided to read this one as a refresher as lots of Bob Proctors wisdom is sound.

My takeaways

Visualize Your Success: Use your imagination to see yourself achieving your goals. Visualization can help reinforce your belief in your ability to succeed.

Develop a Strong Belief: Believe in your capacity to achieve your goals. Self-belief is a crucial component of success.

Take Consistent Action: Success comes from consistent, purposeful action. Develop a plan and work on it daily.

Seek Knowledge: Continuously learn and improve your skills. Knowledge is a powerful tool for achieving your goals.

Surround Yourself with Positivity: Associate with positive, supportive people who encourage your success. Avoid negativity and toxic influences.

Persist Through Challenges: Expect setbacks and difficulties, but don't let them deter you. Keep going, adapt, and overcome obstacles.

These principles are meant to be applied in various aspects of life, including career, finances, and personal development

I love Bob Proctor's voice. I have mostly listened to his seminars and videos and they are great. I absolutely adore his voice and it really aids in paying attention to what he is saying. This book was a great listen. Bob talks about the seven power principles for success that are Confidence; Persistence; Goals; Success; Attitude; Communication; Action. Along with these, there are affirmations converted into songs which helps you to totally concentrate on the book and sing them along.
I loved the book. I applied little of his principles and I am enjoying doing that.

Proctor never ages and his advice timeless. I first listened to him in 1986 and his words as powerful now as then

Listened to this audio program on audible. The information is foundational, but nevertheless important. A discussion about the right type of thinking and mindset to build success in any endeavour - the music between tracks was a bit cringe tho lol 😂 - but picked up some good book recommendations I wasn’t aware about before which was useful too.

I recently read another of Bob Proctor's books, and loved it... but this book has a completely different format, and I can only conclude that it is meant to be listened to as a seminar and not a book. Each chapter starts with, and is interspersed with, super cheesy songs that then become source material for what he talks about next. It wasn't really brand new material, but I'm sure I'd have finished it if not for the songs. I just can't.

At first I felt inspired. Empowered. Then as the book went on it was clear the author wasn't sure if he was talking about God or the so called principles. The whole linking God to making money didn't sit with me. The fact the author told drivers to focus on something (other than the road!) was disturbing and idiotic. Some of the terms to people who didn't reach his 'enlightenment' were just outright mean. 'Loser' is not OK dude!!!

This ended up being another waste of pages inspirational book that I thankfully didn't pay for. I thought I might learn something new. Nope!!
