INFERNO is the final part of HEAT, a four-part series.
Cadence Sutton knows that love is fleeting. She never felt it until she met Chef Tyler Monroe.
He set her heart on fire the moment she saw him in Nova's kitchen. She was scared to let herself feel anything for him, but it was futile to fight the attraction. Lust quickly turned to love.
As she prepares to tell him exactly how she feels, fate steps in and rears its ugly head.
The future is changed forever. Lives are altered. Secrets are revealed. Will their love survive it all?
Deborah Bladon had never read a romance hero she didn't like. Her love for romance novels began when she was old enough to board the bus, library card in hand to check out the newest Harlequin paperbacks. She was a Canadian by heart, and by passport, but you could often spot her in New York City sipping a latte and looking for inspiration for her next story. Manhattan was definitely her second home.
She cherished her family and believed that each day was a gift for writing, for reading, and for loving.
Ah the resolution to the cliffhanger had my heart breaking 💔😰. But it was also eye opening. I knew something was up in that kitchen!
And when answers were provided and the crazy 🤪 explained, things began to feel right and the obstacles disappears. ❤️❤️.
This series was my first by this author, and although I would have preferred all four parts in one book, I loved it and read it in one day. Tyler and Cademce are great characters.
Great story. A lot of ups and downs, twist and turns which I look for in a book. The language might be a bit crude rather than romantic, all depends on your outlook and what you consider crude. That aside it was a great read with a really good ending.
Loved this series! Hated to see it end!!!! Jealousy, Betrayal, Deadly Car Crash, and a brand new career, this 4th novella had it all! Awesome series!!!!
I have just read Inferno, which is part four of The Heat series by Deborah Bladon and the conclusion to Cadence and Tyler's story! It was awesome!
Part three Blaze left us with the mother of all cliffhangers that had me at the edge of my seat! Inferno jumps straight in where we left off, flowing effortlessly and bringing you right back into the moment! It also cleared everything up that had happened at the end of Blaze (allowing me to breathe phew!).
We uncover quite a lot in Inferno - with a couple of gob smackers that make the jaw drop! The conclusion certainly isn't boring with a few curve balls flying out of nowhere! My interest in the series didn't waiver at any point, I was grabbed at the beginning of The Heat series and wasn't let go of until it had finished!
Cadence and Tyler’s relationship was not a simple one, but Inferno allows us to see how they work through everything. Cadence was such a headstrong female throughout this series, and not a predictable character, which always left me needing to find out more! Tyler is going to ensure that I don't look at a chef in the same way again! I also loved the epilogue, it allowed me to finish the book satisfied and without that dreaded ‘book-hangover’ ;-).
Deborah's writing as usual is flawless, setting the scene easily and drawing the reader in. I'm such a big fan of her books - they are just brilliant and would highly recommend them ALL if you haven't already indulged. The Heat series is my favourite so far. There was no shortage of steamy scenes and the storyline itself was brilliant, so many unexpected surprises which I loved!
All in all, Inferno is another fabulous book by Deborah and I would highly recommend the entire Heat series as a whole (which you can now purchase). I'm just happy I don't have any more cliffhangers to clear up (I do love a good cliffhanger really!).
INFERNO is the final book of the ever entertaining four-part series, HEAT.
Cadence Sutton, an aspiring chef, has a hard time believing in lasting love. She wants to believe in it after she met Chef Tyler Monroe.
She was taken by him as soon as she laid eyes on him in the kitchen at Nova's, where she worked. She was scared to allow her heart to have feelings for him. She gave up trying to fight her strong attraction to him and allowed their potent chemistry to take over.
The whole series was filled with many ups and downs in their relationship and so many obstacles to over come. At the end of the third book Blaze right when Cadence was ready to tell Tyler how she felt tragedy struck. Such a huge cliffhanger, is how we were left at the end of Blaze. As always Deborah started this next book right where the last one left off. It smoothly fell into a rhythm as lives are altered and the future is changed forever. Further secrets from the past were revealed and Cadence is not so sure that letting anyone know how she really feels should ever happen.
As always Deborah Bladon hit it out of the park with this series. Her books almost ALWAYS have stuff going on in them from start to finish. I have a hard time being able to put them down if I don't have time to read them in one sitting. They are full of intrigue, lust, love, friendship and are so incredibly sexy!!! I love the friendships that the main characters always have with other characters in the book. Women supporting women is something we need more of in the world. And the men in Deborah's books are forever HOT..HOT..HOT!!!!!!
Awesome ending to the Heat series. Tyler and Cadence's dad chef Firi were in an accident, After everything at Tyler's soft opening and Maribel introducing Tyler's ex as the new ex head chef, and Tyler never said a word to Cadence she is emotionally spent. Not sure what to think, worried about her dad, being unconscious, Tyler having a concussion, then where does she stand with Neela back in the picture. Things are too crazy, to bring up now, Tyler recovering, her Dad, woke up once, she is waiting patiently, as best she can, for answer. Lots of lies being told, people trying to draw a wedge between Tyler and Cadence, but stength, persistence, faith, love will prevail, beautiful story, loved it.
Amazing!! Love is always the best ingredient in a great recipe!!!
I'm never shocked after reading a Deborah Bladon book!! As I read the ending to this beautiful story I have a great big smile on my face! I simply loved the ending to Tyler and Cadence story !! The love they have for each other transcends through the pages of the story!! Not only is a love between two people but the love between father and daughter that is also told in this story. I'm glad Maribel gets what she deserves finally!! I love how Deborah always incorporates other characters in her books from other stories!!!
Why do so many authors feel that getting pregnant before the marriage and only knowing each other a year or less is romantic? I'm reading this same ending over and over again! What's worse is 9 out of 10 of these pregnancies occur when the woman is on the pill. Wow, it must never work anymore from what I'm reading. Kids are not romantic. They are hard work and worth every minute of it, but romantic-no! Time with a new husband or boyfriend so they can get to know each other is much better before children come into the picture.

Wow! After every book I read from Deborah Bladon, I put it down in awe. She is such an impressive writer with creativity that has no limits. The characters are amazing. The love and romance is amazing. The cliff hangers suck!!! Always worth the purchase. Tyler and Candence are so good together. I'm still not sure if Tyler's decisions about Den are based on truth or because he was in love with her. The ending was just as I would want it. Especially Wil Dens dad. Great book. Glad I waited to purchase all at one time. Hate the cliffhangers.
So I've finally read the final part of the Heat series by Deborah Bladon and I absolutely loved it! The characters were to die for and suddenly it all made sense. All those niggling little thoughts that were running through my mind were finally answered...
Got to say this series has quickly become my favourite Bladon series. The books just keep getting better and better. If you haven't read any of Deborah Bladon's books you should definitely start at the beginning but when you finally get to the heat series you will absolutely love it.
An outstanding end to an incredible series! Hot, tension filled pages of love and trust. Will Cadence find herself looking in from the outside? Can Tyler, once and for all, convince her that he's put his past behind him? What will her future look like and who will she choose to be along side her on the journey? Deborah Bladon is an exceptional writer and everything she's published has been stellar! This is hands down a must read as the final book in Heat Series!
It was too good as are all of her books. Deborah is my favorite author hands down. I cannot wait to see what she has in store for us next. The books are well written and tell the characters stories well. You can never guess what is going to happen next because it is always the opposite of what you are thinking. And those cliffhangers are killer. I don't know how anyone could not get enough.
Tyler and Candence story started off really exciting, both cliffhangers from previous series had me ready to read the next. Not quite as great for the last of series. I'm glad they finally expressed their true feelings for one another..I don't know maybe expecting more from maribel , haven't figured it out. Buy overall still a good book. Looking forward to Nicolas and Sophia story.
Ms. Bladon never fails to deliver. She gave the reader a diverse set of complex character's that have a common goal. To love, cook great food, find redemption for past wrongs and to conquer their demons. A fast paced series, with twists and turns that leaves the reader wanting more.
I chose this rating because this is a very good book. The characters were very interesting. I like the Cadence told Tyler that she loved him, even though Tyler had already told her several times. I was also happy that Cadence had her father back in her life. This just was a very good book I really really enjoyed it. I recommend this book to all romance readers.
Finally saw some charater development and more insight into the emotional psyches of each of the characters. Would have liked to have had Tyler's POV at times. A bit anti-climatic with Brendan disappearing, the fire not being as questionable as we first thought, and Maribel just moving to another restaurant. But enjoyable epilogue to close it out.
OH em GEE!!! I can't believe I finished the whole series...I mean I am a full time employee...a double time parent...a supporter of ALL my best girlfriends and still I managed to polish off all 4 books in less than three days!! Deborah Bladon books make me stay up late, day dream and ALWAYS make me want more!!! Loved this series!!!
The way this book ended it seems more about Cadence's relationship with her family than with Tyler. Tyler seems to have brought her closer to her father. It starts off in continuation of a major cliffhanger and the stress levels were definitely high. I loved how Cadence and Tyler's story ends, but I would love to see more of them in future books.
So, I have read this series, but had not documented the first book. I decided to re-read them all. Great decision. It was a marathon Heat session, but an enjoyable one. You have to read them all. What a great series....so happy I read them again. I love that the characters of other series are integrated into each other.
Another great series by Deborah. Had some twists and a good love story. It was nice that Cadence and her father got a second chance. She and Tyler got their HEA. Another great series. I like how each series are connected.
As usual, Ms. Bladon has truly let her light shine. This was an incredible series with twist you won't see coming. Can't wait for your next series. Awesome job and great writing!
A great series about two chefs and lots of romance and drama. There is a great ending and I am looking forward to the next book about her roommate and a book author. Great writing and real characters. A must read.
This HEA was very sweet. I always enjoy the author and the stories she writes. This fourth installment was no different. I was happy that the main plot and subplots came to a great end. They flowed nicely and concluded in a way that has you begging for more.
Once again, Deborah Bladon never disappoints. I loved the story, however I think that Tyler was kind of a douche at a few points in the story. She had a lot of patience with him and his moods.
I was so into this book until the accident and how selfish Cadence was immediately after the accident. The man that she "loves" is in a serious accident and all you can worry about is seeing his ex at a restaurant launch.
