I received this for a honest review. I just love each of the Vega Brothers. Each one is special in his own way. This is book 3 in the series. You do not have to worry if you have not read book one or two for this will work fine as a standalone, but I have to say you will get a good laugh and understand it better if you have.
If you have read the previous book then you probably already know Alexander as the grumpy bear. Okay, maybe grumpy is putting it mildly when it comes to Alexander. He was way past grumpy. Through this series I have always been fascinated with Alexander. Maybe it was his grumpiness or the mystery that always surrounded Alexander. There was always like something missing from the story when it came to him. We will discover why he is so grumpy in this book.
Elena King, a reporter for the New York Gazette and was happy that she was going to get to see her sister Ava. She was also going to get to meet her new brother-in-law and his handsome brothers. What she was not expecting was to be kidnapped by the very one that hates women. Let’s just say Alexander’s brother Julius is not to please with him.
I love how this book shows that the bear and the man are separate even though they live in the same body. Though the human side has control the bear will fight to take control if it feels the human side is wrong and this is what happen to Alexander. His bear recognized Elena as their mate. So when Alexander refused to give into the bear the bear said pretty much “hell no” and took over. What a way for Elena to learn there was a thing called shifters. Here was this polar bear in the middle of Montana coming toward her. Alexander had known at that point he had to have her and just took off with her in the woods. Yip, he kidnapped his brother’s sister-in-law.
After the bear bonds to Elena she will find the pull pretty strong. I loved how she did not only talk to Alexander but talked to the bear as well. She will find that she is falling pretty hard for the shifter. They still have the fact that Elena still will be going back to New York and Alexander still will have to go off to war. I would like to say that I truly hate General Samson and so wished the bears would either just eat him or bury him in the back yard..LOL
I was surprised when I saw that Alexander was the 3rd book in the series, surprised but very happy. I thought for sure she would make us wait until the end to read Alexander story. That tells me one thing, Hannibal is going to be one hell of a story.

Alexander has been the horrible mean brother with the massively bad attitude. In his story we find out why he has been acting the way he has.
Elena has come to the Vega Ranch to visit her sister Ava. Within minutes she meets grumpy Alexander, her nice visit quickly goes downhill until Alexanders bear takes control.
When Elena is kidnapped by a hot, naked man and taken to an abandoned cabin in the woods, her worry turns to interest overnight as they spend it together.
Alexander’s bear has calmed down now it has its mate, allowing Elena to get to know the real nature of the man living with the polar bear inside him.
Being a well known New York news reporter definitely comes in handy when the Colonel snakes his way onto the ranch to force Alexander to go back into military action for him.
A good read.

He didn’t really want to leave the army, he felt useful, at the ranch he just feels like a burden!
Elena is Ava’s sister (Julius’s mate from book 1) she’s come to visit her sister (hearing about her whirlwind romance, she wants to make sure her sister is ok)
What she doesn’t bank on is being kidnapped and held in a small cabin in the middle of nowhere!
I really felt sorry for Alexander, not fitting into your own family had to be hard.
Not thinking your good enough for a mate!
Elena is fun, a quick wit and a snappy comeback. I don’t think I’d be too impressed if I’d gotten kidnapped (not even by a hot naked hunk)
And the threat in book 2, well that’s still there, and going up in danger level.
Can the brothers pull together? Or will Alexander lose his family and the potential happy ending just out of reach?

I loved this book! What's to love about grumpy Alexander? Not much at first. But once he bonds with Elena, he is a completely different person. All soft and kind. Well, not completely soft. He is a polar bear shifter after all. I liked how Elena accepted that Alexander was a bear shifter and was completely comfortable with him in bear or human form. These two were a perfect match.
If you like shifter stories, I highly recommend this book.

LOVE WILL ALWAYS WIN
The most adamant of the brothers to not want a mate is Alexander, polar bear extradinaire. But fate has different ideas and once he meets Elena, Ava's sister, fate kicks in! The rest is history and the beautiful reporter from the New York Gazette ends up his mate.

Awesome! This plot was really awesome! The most stubborn of them all comes to find his mate in the woods! She is answering natures call, when a polar bear come charging at her. Lol oh I laughed hard😂 They both get to know each other while fishing, swimming, camp fires and sexy stuff. What!? Read it yourself and laugh it up.

Loved it
It is an extremely fun and crazy book to read. Alexander is a Hugh, fearless and batboy bear shifter who gets tumbled by love. Its great. It exciting, fun, full of raw sex, and its hard to stop reading have together the next one noe.

Well written but short in fact a very fast read. The characters are likeable but not fully developed I think our author should have added pages for fuller story telling. But, I read on.

WOW I Really Enjoyed Reading Rocked by the Bear series. I adore and love reading Kim Fox books, so for this reason I couldn't wait to read Alexander and of course not only wasn't I disappointed but I absolutely love it! I have read books 1 & 2 they are fantastic so I was excited when I got to read the Vega Brothers: Alexander BBW Paranormal Romance Reluctant Bride The Bear Shifters of Vega Ranch Book 3, I couldn't wait to read it! To mate is for life and she is my breath, my reason for being. With the way Kim Fox builds worlds, character development and the dialogue, it makes the storyline have great depth to it. I just loved these brothers who are Bear Shifters! My favorite quality or trait that I love to read about shifters is their ability to converse with their animal sides and how they interact, their different personalities and how they co-exist together! I am so enthralled with it all! The love that was flows between the characters is very tender, beautiful and sweet and not too 'over-the-top' for me. I am very impressed with the way Kim Fox writes a story. The content is captivating and fantastic. I'm always excited and anxious to read more books written by Kim! It's obvious to me that she is a truly fantastic, talented and when you read this story, I think you will agree! I like you to read a little teaser.

He wanted to repair the damage he had done to his relationships with his brothers and getting into a fight was not going to be the way to do it. “Like she said,” Alexander answered, placing his hands in his pockets, trying to stay as non-threatening as he could. “That’s bulls***,” Julius snapped, stepping forward and getting into his face. Alexander’s polar bear growled from inside him, stirring and pacing around. He had many epic fights with Julius’ grizzly bear and the scent of his anger was spurring him on. Not now. Calm down bear. “You f**ing kidnapped her, didn’t you?” Julius hissed. He was flexing his arms and looking for a fight. Alexander could tell that he had been searching the forest all night, they probably all were, and Julius wanted a payoff. He wanted to throw down. “That’s my sister-in-law,” he barked. “You’re going to pay for this!” Julius stepped into a fighting stance and raised his fists, just as Elena''popped her head back into the the cabin. “Walk me back home, Julius,” she said. “I’m hungry for breakfast and we can get to know each other a bit more.” She gently grabbed his arm and tugged him when Julius wouldn’t take his furious eyes off of Alexander. “Fine,” he said, exhaling violently. “This isn’t finished,” he hissed before storming out of the cabin and walking a few steps ahead of Elena. She turned back and grimaced as she followed him.
I really enjoying reading this series. But of coarse I'm a hopeless romantic and this book will give you all the romance you want and so much more. Now if you don't like paranormal romance be warn this is a lovely HEA. But if you don't like this kind of genre then this won't be the book for you. But I think you will enjoy every word and agree with me that it's worth it. This is a great book to add to your TBR list. I'm so excited about reading the next book in this series. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone. It needs to be on your must read list.

1000 STARS!!! 5 STARS JUST DID NOT DO THIS BOOK JUSTICE!!!
HOLY HOT DAMN!!!! I am in love!!!!! Kim Fox is an excellent paranormal romance author!!! I love her books because she never lets me down. This book made me laugh till I cried and her books always make me laugh, cry, fall in love, fight, and there have been a few where I wanted to jump in the book and open up a can of WHOOP ASS!!! She rocked this book. Really think that 5 stars just does not do this book justice. She grabs your attention at the beginning of the book and your so in to the book that you just can’t put it down till you have finished the book. The plots or story lines in all her books have magic tot them as she takes them and makes you want to be there!!! The way she described the Vega ranch in Colwood, Montana made me want to go see it for myself! The description of the ranch and its land was out of this world. Alexander is the second oldest brother named after Alexander the Great, and he is a huge polar bear shifter. His brother Julius nicknamed him Alexander the Irate because of his rough personality and extreme seriousness. Alexander is fighting his own demons and the family just more or less over looks him if they can. He really has major demons and this causes him to be very irate most of the time. He tried to get rid of Ava when Julius brought her home, then it was Bailey and Khan’s cub he wanted gone. But when Ava’s sister Ellen shows up Alexander quickly lets her know she wasn’t invited by him. He really just could not believe that that he was being invaded by women. He actually thought now there were just too many women on the farm. Will Alexander win over his demons? Will he be able to let the past of his mother go and trust that Ellen is different and won’t hurt him? Will he have to go fight in Khan’s place for the awful General Samson and the Shifter Special Forces, or will someone step in to help him?
Ellen King is the famous sister of Ava’s, Julius’s wife. She is a well-known newspaper reporter from New York city. She is visiting Ava in order to get to her new brother in law and his family. Ellen is floored when the grumpy brother rides into the barn on a huge horse and tells her he didn’t invite her and she should leave. He was so handsome and yet so mean and rude. Telling Ava about this, Ava tells her to just ignore him.
Ava is showing Ellen the ranch on horseback and leaves Ellen at the edge of the woods while she goes to fix the tractor. Ellen is enjoying the fabulous mountains and the gorgeous surroundings when a giant polar bear appears from nowhere. Alexander’s bear bonds with Ellen then all of a sudden Ellen is even more shocked when the bear changes into Alexander. Not sure about what to do he then kidnaps Ellen and takes her to the old cabin on the ranch that he has been staying in. Will Alexander accept fate and claim Ellen as his mate? Or will he continue to be a grump butt? Can Ellen accept that there are shifters in the world? Can she accept that one wants her as his mate?

Telling Ava about this, Ava tells her to just ignore him.
Ava is showing Ellen the ranch on horseback and leaves Ellen at the edge of the woods while she goes to fix the tractor. Ellen is enjoying the fabulous mountains and the gorgeous surroundings when a giant polar bear appears from nowhere. Alexander’s bear bonds with Ellen then all of a sudden Ellen is even more shocked when the bear changes into Alexander. Not sure about what to do he then kidnaps Ellen and takes her to the old cabin on the ranch that he has been staying in. Will Alexander accept fate and claim Ellen as his mate? Didn't take long to meet all the brothers and be attracked to one.

Kim Fox's Vega Brothers Alexander is my favorite Vega Brothers book so far. I loved Julius and Khan's books but Alexander's was just special. Throughout the series we've known there was something wrong with Alexander, now we understand why he acted so angry all the time. I felt from the beginning that Alexander was misunderstood by his brothers. He was obviously tortured about something. But men being men they just thought he was an Ahole.
Elena has come to the Vega ranch to visit her sister, Ava and meet her new brother in law, Julius. Ava lives in New York City. She is the lead reporter for New York Gazette. Elena loves the drive in from the airport. She starts to realize how much she misses her freedom and childhood dreams. She is shocked by the wealth and vastness of the Vega Ranch. She had expected her sister to be living in a run down shack not a beautiful log mansion. When she meets Alexander for the first time he is very rude to her and she like everyone else just thinks he's crazy.
When Elena disappears overnight everyone is worried she got lost on the ranch. When they find her the next day with Alexander out in the woods in a run down shack they immediately think Alexander kidnapped her. Julius is fighting mad. Elena tells him she is there by choice and gets him to take back to her sister.
What happens between Alexander and Elena and how they really ended up in that cabin is an amazing story. Was she kidnapped? Why would Alexander do that to her if she was? Why would she cover for him if he did take her? The answers to all those questions is why this is my favorite Vega Brothers book. Once you dive into this book be ready to not be able to put it down.
I can't wait to see what happens next in Hannibal's book. After all, he's now Montana's Most Eligible Bachelor....what could go wrong? I received an ARC for my honest review.

Grumpy polar bear............has driven this Vega brother to the brink of madness. His Brothers just think he is surly and rude, that he even hates women. Not true, but his bear has been off the chain for so long he is absolutely stunned into wonderment by seeing one woman,Elena King. It was so simple, yet so hard at the same time she is his brother Julius sister in law. How can she be his mate, but she is she so totally is... now to just get her to spend time with me, he doesn't have time to ponder the problem because his bear breaks free and takes off after Elena.......... He finds her and scoops her up and takes her to his cabin his one place of peace, he wants her to like it. But let's be real he has just kidnapped his mate.... not the way to really start out a good relationship. Can she forgive him, accept him and his bear.... Or is he doomed to go on without her,no way... he has got to fix his family all of his family, now his bear is not raging at him he sees the trouble he has caused so many years, lost because of his unruly bear. Can he even try to repair the damage? Does he have the time? In a week the General will be there to pick him up and take him away. He promised to go with the general, in his brother Khan's place, however he can't leave his mate, no not ever... but what can he do? The General simply will not take no for an answer... Elena King hasn’t seen her sister for some time so she drives to Montana to spend some sister time together. When she gets to the ranch, she gets a warm welcome from everyone except one, Alexander. Elena finds it odd when her sister warns her to give him a wide berth as he isn't as nice as the other’s. Elena sees him as a challenge and her writing skills kick in.
Alexander Vega is a grumpy Polar Bear Shifter whose bear has driven him to the brink of madness with wanting a mate. When is brother Khan was supposed to go back in the Army at General Samson ' s order, Alex opted to take his place. His bear recognized Elena as their mate. So when Alex refuses to give in and the bear pretty much says “hell no” and took over. What a way for Elena to learn there was a thing called shifters. Here was this polar bear in the middle of Montana coming toward her and kidnaps her.

Well, time for the third brother to settle. :)
Alexander is the dark horse, broody, moody having previously tried to put the women off his brothers. Not a lover of women, he does his best to avoid any in his life. Preferring his solitude of his forest hideaway.
Ava's sister - Elena King arrives for a much needed vacation spell and to meet her sister's new husband. The time looks like it will be great but she encounters Mr Grumpy and is able to bite back when he does address her. There is a little tension there, but you realise that Alexander has let her get under his skin. :)
Suddenly whisking her off to his cabin, he comes out of himself with Elena’s help. Even showing her his Bear, which surprises her but more him in that she’s not afraid. They send time talking and getting to know each other, as the pull draws Alex ever closer to Elena, despite the knowledge that he has to leave.
The commander - General Samson, re appears as well as his minions, but it’s Elena who puts him in his place with her own threats. Surprising the Bears, pleasantly. They all know it won’t be the last they see of him or the other Squad members, but for the time being they have that reprieve for Alexander and Elena to come to together.
This is another well read story, flowing well along with the new characters back for a little more input and events. I thoroughly enjoyed it with a few chuckles as well. As I had in the previous too. Again I was gifted a copy for an open and honest review. Looking forward to the last of the four to find their mate!

Her first meeting with the man (bear) was frightening. He was just as rude to her as he had been to his two sisters-in-law when they arrived and married his brothers. But this time the reason was different.
Could Alena handle being carted away by the big rude brother? If so how would she respond? And how would the family deal with their “outing”? Is she the one to unleash the reason behind his surely attitude? And if so can she do anything about it? And is it just too late? He is due to return to the Army in a short while—threatened if he refuses. Will he default to loosing the ranch to save his family and leave or is there another way?
For those following the series you will be surprised at the changes. Alena is strong and many faceted. She just might have some answers. After all, she's been in dangerous situations as a reporter.

the most reluctant of the bunch and how he crumbled at the sight of the one meant to be his. for years he battled his polar bear, keeping him subdued and caged. he will not take a mate, ever. not even to make sure they get to keep the ranch! hell no!
when elena, ava's sister, arrives at the ranch, she feels a bit overwhelmed by the vega brothers. they're all big, handsome, great sense of humor, did she mention gorgeous? all of them warned her about alexander, the fourth brother, he was grumpy and not really social and he was best avoided.
what she didn't expect was a behemoth of a naked man appearing out of the forest and kidnapping her like he did it every day. she was scared at first but when this man introduced himself and went out of his way to accommodate her her fear turned into curiosity and fascination. sure he was a bit gruff but he wasn't anything like his brothers told he was.
she knew about shifters, so she partly understood why he may be acting the way he did. she didn't think that it could work both ways.
with very limited time the two of them spend all their time together.
i would have thought that alexander's battle would have gone a whole other route, so i was surprised with how it really went down. that inner battle is lost or won at some point in time! and elena is just perfect, sassy to boot! fitting right in.
really enjoyed this story and can't wait for hannibal's

Too top it all, they've told each one of them has to be married within a year or they lose the ranch they all grew up on, a stipulation in their fathers will. Only problem, none of them want mates.
Especially not Alexander, whose been having all kinds of trouble with his bear. His bear wants a mate and Alexander has said definitely he does not, not with the way his mom treated his father. Over time Alexander has become angry, bitter, and distant towards everyone including his three brothers. Until he meets Ava, and everything changes, in him, in his bear, and in his life.
This is book 3 in The Bear Shifters of Vega Ranch, Alexander and Elena's story. I loved this book, it was awesome. I was so looking forward to reading Alexander's story and I was not disappointed. The storyline was really intriguing and captivating, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The characters, Alexander and Elena were a really sweet couple and a perfect match. It was a lighthearted r ad with a touch if spice. There were a few moments here and there that could have been a little less rushed, but otherwise a really enjoyable read!

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review. Elena, Ava's sister comes to visit the ranch and is immediately snatched up by the ornery Vega brother, Alexander. Alexander's polar bear has been riding him for years about finding a mate, but his human half refused to acknowledge his beast. And as a result, Alexander turned into a mean and surly person to be around, he even began to isolate himself from his brothers and their mates by hiding out in an old cabin in the woods on their land. This is where he takes Elena after he carries her off. Alexander is thrilled to have finally found is mate, but is also torn b/c he is being sent off to war soon in place of Khan. It's really surprising how quickly his attitude changes after meeting Elena. Everyone is of course upset about how he went about thing, and can't believe how quickly he changes. Elena is a reporter back in New York, but longs to write novels and get out of the city. Ava barely has time to explain about Julius and his brother all being shifters before Alexander grabs her. At first, Elena wants to turn the story into a great tell-all book, but she doesn't want to risk the guys or her relationship with her sister. She thought about it, though. From this book, it would seem that a beauty really can tame a beast.

My favourite (so far), Loved Alexander's story, this one had me if stitches.

Elena finds it odd when her sister warns her to give him a wide berth as he isn't as nice as the other brothers. Elena sees him as a challenge and her reporter skills are determined to find his sweeter side, (if he has one).
Alexander is having a bad time adjusting to normal life after the war, his mood is sour at the best of times but each time one of his brothers finds his mate, it makes his mood even darker. It's part of the reason he agreed to go back into combat. This whole challenge of finding a Mate, brings out the beast in him and he has a great deal of trouble keeping control of his Bear.

I thought Alexander was going to be the last of the Vega brothers to find a mate, and go kicking and screaming once he came back from the forced upon military service. However, I was dead wrong and glad that I was. Alexander has been a jerk for the past five years, mostly because he has been fighting his bear about finding a mate. All of that changes when Elena, Ava’s younger sister comes for a visit.
Watching Alexander and his family become close again, and watching him with Elena was sweet. It was fun seeing Alexander in a new light instead of trying to run everyone off. Alexander going from burly to being who his brothers knew was well written and I was happy to see him happy for a chance. If you enjoy shifter romance with conflict, but also with the jokester, historian, and the best naming convention then the Vega brothers series is for you.

When they get to the barn, Ava has to leave and fix a tractor. As Elena waits a black stallion with a shirtless rider comes bursting through the door right up next to her. He was huge with a gorgeous face, the fourth brother Alexander, just Elena type. These books just get hotter and hotter. Can’t help but fall in love with this couple. Kim Fox just keeps us holding on with all the twist and turns in the third book. I couldn’t put this book down. Loved every chapter of the book and I think you will too!
