When you’re a witch in a kingdom of Elves, there’s bound to be conflict…
Eliza Rose finds herself in a world full of Elves—the very creatures she is sworn to kill. To make matters worse, she is forced to slay her own mother. But one question remains. Why was her mother in such a horrid place to begin with?
Eliza and Donovan cannot face the dangers of Ellevil alone…
When the Elf, Christian, meets Eliza for the first time, he knows he must have her. As a master of manipulation, he will do anything he can to get his way.
Donovan has left his old gang life behind. In his journeys with Eliza, he has seen her talents as an assassin bloom. He wants what is best for her, and he is certain that Christian is anything but.
In a land of pure beings called Mystics, not all of them are what they seem…
When Eliza falls in love with Christian, only Donovan knows the Elf can’t be trusted. Christian manipulates the myth within her to come forth, and Eliza’s hidden power is unleashed, bringing her true nature to light.
Answers might be found in the fairy and mermaid kingdoms…
To discover why Eliza’s mother was in Ellevil, Eliza and Christian must embark on a journey to the fairy and mermaid kingdoms. As challenges continue to unfold, Eliza is forced to choose between her hidden power and the witch she truly is.
Eliza Rose must unlock her hidden power in order to survive, but time is running out. Corruption may overcome her—the same way it consumed her mother.

In a tale as complex and intense as Mystical, Michael Weekly is back with Mythical and Eliza Rose’s life is becoming ever more dark, frightening and filled with even more danger and deceit at every corner. Is it possible that love is going to turn on her, too? She falls for a trickster, but is it the really her or the half she is struggling to control? I a world where anyone who is different is suspect, Eliza must come to terms and control both her light witch side and her dark elf side. Easier said than done with everyone having their own agenda with her as the tool to get the job done.

Eliza is sworn to kill the evil elves, but now things have taken a turn for the worse, and her hidden genetics are rearing their ugly heads. In the fight to control her soul, how will win, the witch or the elf? Follow Eliza as she struggles to find the answers and strength she needs to maintain her good side, faces death and deception, and feels romantic inclinations for Christian, the dark elf, who is everything she should hate.

In the battle for Eliza, which side will win? Can anyone trust her? Michael Weekly has woven another web of fantasy that will ensnare readers from start to finish as poor Eliza Rose jumps dimensions, morphs into her alter selves and struggles with in her own body for control. With more depth, more drama and even more WELL-DEVELOPED characters in a cast of fantasy beings, Michael Weekly has kept the tension high and the details coming like a freight train on a deadline. Forget relaxing throughout this read, there isn’t a moment that won’t keep you on the edge of your seat! Who knew the fantasy world could be intense, so dark, so twisted and so fascinating?

I received this copy from Michael Weekly in exchange for my honest review.

Mythical 5 Stars!

I give this book 10 stars! Well I'm at a loss for words on where to start with this review. It is so good words just don't do it justice. I LOVED it! The characters and world building is so complex. Complex in a good way too. I really like that there was such a variety of worlds visited. And so many different creatures. Even mermaids! Who doesn't like a mermaid? Even when they're bad. All my life I've read never to trust the Fae but I keep getting pulled back in to any elf that comes my way. Even Christian. This isn't your quick and easy read like some books that are microwave fast. It's more like the crock pot book of cooking, if that makes sense. Michael Weekly REALLY messes with your mind in this one. It should be labeled a psychological thriller lol. From the beginning it makes you stop and think about who can really be trusted in the book. And what is real or just an illusion. I'm dying to let it all out but I'm afraid I will spoil it. And I really can't do it justice by trying to explain about it. Trust me, it will be the best book you read this year.

Mythical (Mystical 2) Michael Weekly

### 4.75 Hashtags ###

Wow, such an amazing fantasy adventure, that continues on from the first book Mystical - they do need to be read in order.

I thoroughly enjoyed following Eliza's (aka Rose) intense adventure through the realm of Ellevil. The first book felt more realistic as the setting is in the world as we know it, this book is magically different as it's set in another realm and is packed to the rafters full of elves, faeries, mermaids, magical forests, castles etc.. Michael Weekly beautifully describes everything in so much intricate detail that I felt I was actually there in this realm with them.

I love the way Eliza has to evolve and adapt to her new situations and surroundings, also the decisions she has to make along her way. There are some seriously unexpected twists in this story which make this series quite unique. We feel Eliza's inner battle between her emotions towards Donovan and Christian - which path will or should Eliza choose?

This is one of my favourite genres and a perfect magical, action packed YA read.
Personally I would like it to be NA with some steamier scenes thrown in, but that's just me !!

A seriously great read and I'll be very eagerly awaiting the next installment.

4.5 Full Review can be found at http://thegraduatedbookworm.blogspot.ca

Thank you SO MUCH to Michael Weekly for sending me an ARC copy for review!! Of course once I finally finished Mystical, I seriously just had to know what was going to happen to Eliza, and I sure was not disappointed!! There was so much going on in this continuation, that I had so many mixed emotions! Definitely better than the first, as there is a lot more going on!

So right off the bat, you start straight from the ending of Mystical. It's sure going to be hard not to spoil anything for those who have not read this series before! You definitely start right away and it just keeps going from there!

While reading through it completely, I found myself multiple times wondering who to trust. You enter a new important character into the mix (Christian) and you get a buttload of action, drama, and total mind-blowing scenes.

I did get a little confused at some parts over what was really going on, and found that there was maybe a little too much going on in a couple chapters. Now I do wish that there was more in the romance department between Eliza and someone (or someones...haha!) but there wasn't much. I get that the story isn't meant to be all about romance, but more about her trying to find herself, and figure out what is going on, but I think it would have been a little bit more crazy, if she were to become romantic to someone.

Lastly can I just say #CLIFFHANGERMUCH?!! Michael, seriously! There were multiple times when I was reading and was hoping that it wouldn't be the end, because it seriously would have killed me! Still he managed to get it done, and now I'm left here wondering what is going to happen in his last novel Magical, because with an ending like that? I can only hope that more *Magic* will be going down!

Overall I really loved this book! There was so much going on, it really kept me on my toes, and it was totally a non-stop action packed book! I will admit that I've never really liked reading fantasy novels, because of all the Vampires, Witches, Elves, Fairies, etc. BUT after reading both Mystical and now Mythical, I am definitely interested in reading more from this genre!

I don’t know where to begin.

First off, Michael knows how to write a swoony character. I NEED DONOVAN. Now.

Book 2 is amazing. Everything about it was perfect, besides that other swoony boy you’ll either hate or have a love/hate relationship (like me). But I’ll talk about Christian later

So the second book in the series is just as good as the first. You get to see several different realms while you are learning about Eliza and what makes her so special. She is not like other witches and as you read on you get a better idea of where she is coming from and what her family's history is like.

I can say that I do have a crush on Donovan. I am not a big fan of Christian. Actually if I had my way, he would go away. I think that Eliza would be better off with Donovan. I just wanted to get that out. I am team Donovan.

There were still times when I would get lost because of location issues. The author needs to be clear in where people are. I think that some times he jumps ahead of himself and knows where he wants to go but doesn't always give you the reason you got from point A to point B.

This is definitely a series that you can get lost in and want more of by the end. When I got to the end of the book I was wanting the next one. I was very lucky that I got to read both but now I want more! I can look past the parts where I get lost because the characters keep you involved.

I received and ARC copy I'm exchange of an honest review.
It felt good to be back inside Eliza's head. She is such a strong character and it is interesting to see how she overcomes all of her problems. The book started a little slow and awkward, but it smoothed out and the plot started to unravel. Once this happened I couldn't put it down.
In this book we discover a lot more of the characters and they also become a lot more powerful. I loved how we get shown information through different visions and it's not so direct, it keeps the mystery without making it frustrating.
This is one of those books that you want to devour in one sitting, if you haven't read the first book I highly recommend you do so and if had then just pick this one up but be carful because once you finish you would want the third book immediately!

This book was given to me for an honest review……
Eliza and Donovan enter into the unknown to find out and fight what ever caused Eliza's mother to turn evil. When Christian joins the team him and Eliza fall for each other. However Christian being an elf Donovan knows he cannot be trusted. However he also knows they can't fight this fight alone. Can they find and defeat the evil without being turned themselves? This was a great next book in the Mystical series. I highly recommend it for teens to adults…

You do have to read this trilogy in order. You don't want to miss any of this coming of age and ability tale. First Eliza must discover who and what she is, then figure out what she can do and why all these magical people are after her. This second book begins immediately following the first.

The characters are interesting and exciting. Michael does a wonderful job of world building.
I can see this series having a popular following and continuing to grow it's audience.
