Jack finds himself at the heart of a legend he could never have imagined. The answers he has, only lead to new questions. People—he’s never heard of—want him dead. Jack also promised to help Mr. Ryan get home, and he still has no idea who his grandmother really is. Ms. Mopat isn’t talking. Of course, he has years to figure it all out. There should be plenty of time…
I just bought this on amazon...will start it tonight. Can't wait! I didn't know it was out! - boing! - boing! - boing!--Sorry, that was me jumping up and down. Review to come.
*I received a copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review.*
This was so much fun! This one focused a lot more on world building than character interaction. The First World was explained more, the plot progressed, and people grew wings! There were so many new questions raised and old ones explored. I am very much looking forward to book four.
Dang! This is just so much fun. Mopats. Dragon ladies. One, two, & three.
Bit of a hint as to a future arc. Titans?
Gotta admit, I'd sure love to see the slave vine neutralized. Maybe transferred onto the ones what done it? The three houses deserve a real butt whooping. Maybe Jack could surprise Grandma with a special loving thank you gift? She kinda deserves a big smooch? Looking forward to a Janik and Sireana reunion. And so much more...
This was the most exciting book yet in the series. Jack continues to forge things, and goes in search of Ivy. His grandmother actually answers some questions. He accepts his destiny and gains some allies. Typo: Oath's should not have an apostrophe as it's a plural word, not a possessive.
