So this is about a kick ass team of elite women soldiers participating in a prototype team to prove women are as good, if not better, as the men in their field. Their first mission is to protect a scientist and his daughter from being kidnapped to steal his research.

Lisa aka spitfire is a tough as nails character able to go above and beyond her duty, with the aid of her team, in to the grey area on the limits of their mission to ensure that no threat is made again.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, the characters and especially the camaraderie between the female soldiers. The characters are well developed and fascinating, the inner turmoil spitfire experiences with her job and potentially having a long-term relationship is believable and adds to the realism of the book.

I would recommended this book for anyone interested in military themes, action, romance and awesome books!

I received this book for an honest review. Even though I love the Five Brothers series I wasn't sure what this new series would bring. I quickly found this group of special women are tough as nails and scare the crap out of me, especially their leader. Luckily I was on their side from the beginning. They bring the heat and the sexy! If you make this your next read, you won't be left disappointed.

Wow what can I say this book is totally amazing with such strong female characters I love it, this book centres around the character Lisa Marie Welch aka Spitfire, yes that’s my name lol .
She is part of an elite special forces group that infiltrates dangerous missions where been a man would just not cut it, she is very professional and an ace at her job, she is feisty, deadly and loves to blow things up.
She leads this unusual band of soldier’s and is good at it, after their pilot mission, Lisa is requested by the CO to go into deep undercover to protect an elite scientist and his baby, a nanny no less.
Can she keep her emotions at bay and keep that solid wall intact or is Nathan able to break down those walls to get at her heart?
This is a fast paced, action packed book, both in and out of the sheets. The bond between the soldier’s is totally believable, and they take it to the next level when they go AWOL to ensure the safety of the family.
The sex scenes are hot in this book and certainly make your heart race, I totally recommend this book to anyone who likes action, military, love and of course the 18+ sex scenes .. one to add to the TBR list,

Silk Assassin is something completely new from Melissa Bell and yet another gripping read in the first of this new series.

Silk Assassin follows the leading ladies of an elite task force, the best of the best. Each female works that little bit harder to prove herself.

Lisa aka Spitfire is one of the best she lives for her job and everything else takes second place until she is sent on a mission and poses has the loveable nanny and comes eye to eye with the sexy bio-chemist ...

Nathan Collins is happy with his life and his precious daughter Lilyanna who is now worth over a billion dollars to kidnap in exchange for his new formulas. However when he meets the new nanny sparks fly and things change fast.

Silk Assassin is drama filled, contains laugh out loud moments and some very hot chemistry !

I received this Book as a gift. It is about a female commando team, the book was well written with an amazing storyline that kept you engrossed throughout. Loved the twists and turns. I'm loving this author, she is amazing. Make sure you check out her work
