The Raw Truth: Addicted and Redeemed

Rate this book
Addiction is an ever-increasing dilemma in societies across the world. The Raw Truth takes you on a journey into the life of an addict to the redeeming work completed through Jesus Christ. Often times an addiction can be directly connected to learned thinking and behavior in childhood. In the Raw Truth, the reader will be provided a truth that addiction is often time the result of a generational inheritance of faulty thought and immoral persuasion. These lead an individual into the chokehold of addiction. Addiction will only be defeated when family values increase above the ignorance of godlessness, into a life surrendered to Jesus Christ.

Great first person perspective on living with addiction. Kern presented scientific data and the generational effects of addiction through his life story. I would have liked to hear more practical steps of his transformation, but it's a captivating book.
