También es el padre de dos increíbles niñas a las que alimenta con largos cuentos y estrambóticos juegos.

Gilberto Mariscal writes "happy stories full of imagination, fantasy and optimism."
His book "In the Clouds" is complete fantasy. Lucy lives in the clouds where she build "clouds men" that look like snow men in cold days, runs and jumps from cloud to cloud, squeezes clouds "to make rain," has "Wind" blow her around (in the clouds) so she can look at cities and rain forests, looks for clouds that look items, people, or animals, and uses rainbows as a slide.
This is exactly the kind of book that encourages children's fantasy; the absolutely adorable illustrations help.
Highly recommended for children ages 2 to 7.

October 11, 2022Lucy has a secret. She likes to fly up high on her magical balloon. There are swings in the clouds . On cold days she likes to make cloud men. Shh! I'll whisper, they look like snowmen. The all time best fun is running from cloud to cloud. Shh!! Another secret. Look for the animals in the jungle. Can you find the zebra?

Menyelesaikan buku ini dalam sekali duduk, dan aku bacanya di Google Play Books. Membaca buku ini jadi semacam pelarianku lah ya setelah seminggu kemarin itu lumayan banyak hal yang terjadi dan cukup draining juga.
Sudah lama nggak membaca buku-buku yang bener-bener "anak-anak" banget gitu. Tapi ceritanya juga lumayan menghibur lah ya. Ditambah dengan ilustrasi yang cukup vibrant dalam pemilihan warnanya juga bikin aku enjoy dalam membacanya!

A simple story with colourful illustrations and the text is one that young children could read along with easily.
This is book one is the Lucy's World series and in this one she goes on an adventure to lots of places.

Sweet imaginative book for children
Lucy’s imagination is lovely as she dreams about the clouds and the fun that she can have there. Enjoyed the bit about using the cloud as flying carpets. Lovely reading for children.

Reading this before going to bed is heartwarming. My inner child felt on cloud nine fantasising about this. It would have been actually nice if I had experienced it.
