Four complete, heartwarming, clean, sweet Amish Romance books set in Sugar Creek, Ohio. Many of the characters are in multiple books but each book is a complete standalone story and can be read in any order.
(Please note: The first book, Amish Amazing Love, also appears in the Love in Lancaster County Box Set)
Amish Amazing Love Jenny Billings has been away from home for a long time, seeking out the world and all it has to offer. For the past two years, she’s been living the life of an Englischer and looking the part, too. But then, tragedy in the form of a horrible car accident occurs, shaking her to the core.
Amish Sweet Forgiveness Rebecca’s only beau has broken off their relationship and at the age of nearly twenty-three, she wonders if Gott has any plans for her to ever be married. She’s on the verge of resigning herself to being single when a distraught young man enters her life.
Jordan Garvey arrives in Sugarcreek, Ohio an angry man. He’s recently learned that the man who abandoned his mother before he was born is from this small town and he’s intent on confronting him. In light of his mother’s serious illness, he doesn’t have much time and barrels into town with a chip on his shoulder that’s visible to one and all.
Amish Secret Love Elizabeth Smucker has a secret, a big one. Although her community forbids it, Beth is communicating with an outsider, an Englischer. She started chatting with him online during her running around years, but they’d made such a deep connection she couldn’t give him up when her rumspringa was over.
Although she relishes the emails he sends, a part of her knows full well that she will have to give him up someday. She will never leave the People, and he will never be able to become a part of her world. But then she receives an email that leaves her senseless. He’s coming to Sugarcreek…to see her.
Amish Autumn Love With all of her children married and thriving, Hannah Smucker is very content with her life. She has raised them well and now can enjoy the rewards of having done so. With all the children and their spouses under her roof, along with a grandchild, Hannah feels she is blessed indeed. However, uncertainty about her future begins to materialize.
First, her long-time neighbor and friend Abraham Graber seems to want to change the nature of their relationship. Or does he? She doesn’t know what to think when his behavior seems warmer and more tender than before. Of course, they are now related in a manner through their children, but there is something more in his gestures and words…she thinks. She would hate to make a fool of herself in front of him and her community. Although pride is a sin, she doesn’t want to be humiliated.
Then comes some hard news both in terms of her family and her business. Hannah struggles to hold onto her faith, the B&B, and her family as they all seem to be drifting away.
Will Abraham be the one to help her through this hard time, or does she simply need more faith? Should she let go of everything and just trust God, or does she have to work harder to find out His will for her life?
Join the Smucker family one more time in this final book to find out what lies in store.
The 'Love in Sugar Creek' series is set in Sugar Creek Ohio, also known as "The Little Switzerland of Ohio" where the Amish lead a simple life of peace and faith.
It is about Hannah & her 3 children each book is one of their stories I enjoyed this boxset would have liked a bit more on the last story which was Hannah's story but all in all a nice Amish boxset
These 4 books were some of the best Amish books I have read. The story line keeps you wanting to continue to read without any nasty stuff and misspelled words. I would definitely recommend them.
I enjoyed this story but was disappointed by the change of Abrahams job early in the book Hannah asked him to make a cradle and he showed her it at his shop in town at the end Hanna was going to become a farmer's wife again. But overall I enjoyed the book
I enjoyed this set of stories. The author has done a great job of putting together this group of stories about a time out of the lives of an Amish family. The stories are well told .
This was a very nice reads. I really appreciated the way the author presented the good news of salvation and God's leadership in making important decisions in life.
