This book wasn't bad but I had high hopes for this one that didn't quite pan out. I loved how different this story is. The author really created something new with this book and made this storyline really unique. I will say though that this books has some consistency issues with the story. I loved that the hero was complete gone for the heroine she was it.

I loved the heroine she is smart and sweet and strong, especially with all she has to deal with and the family that she has. I liked the hero but at times I wanted him to be stronger(not sure if thats the word I actually want to use but it's the only one I can think of). He's tough don't get me wrong but then there were times in the book that I just kept thinking about those super hero movies where the hero is getting his butt kicked and all I can think about is whats going on, get up, your the hero. I think this author did a great job creating a very interesting world and creating evil characters you easily and happily hate. All in all not a bad book(not bad at all) but something was missing to make it great.


Safety gang this book is completely safe no OW. The h's dad wants her with someone else but nothing every happens, and she never wants the other man.

One other spoiler which I found very weird and made me giggle a little I don't think any man liquids or man skin should be every said to taste meaty, thats just strange

So much to say about this... The story wasn't bad, but wasn't good either, the problem was that I had some expectations that kept me from really enjoying the book. If you go up and read about the book, the first thing you see is:

He never knew about the baby

, then it says

I got pregnant.

And my father found out—found out and threatened to take my baby away.

I had no choice. So I ran…
And prayed that Anton would come for me.

So I was expecting her to get pregnant and then having to go away and expect him to save her, but not going after her because he didn't know about the baby! This doesn't happen in the book. So the story was very different from what I expected.

This girl is very controlled by her brother and father, and she decides to rebel and meets Anton. They start seeing each other even against her father's wishes, she finds out that her father is planning to marry her to a guy he wants to be the next VP when he retires and makes her brother the President of the MC. They don't want Anton anything to do with her because they have been robbing the MC and they think that Anton is after her to get his hands on the MC, or that he is going to find out what they have been doing.

So she wants to run away, and goes and asks Anton to go with her, she has everything ready, but he convinces her to go to back to her house, despite everything she tells him, and she gets caught. She manages to escape again, they get together, have sex, and while having sex her brother finds them and drags her back. A few weeks later, she finds out that she is pregnant and goes with him to ask for help, he says he will help, but before he can her fathers finds out and threatens to beat her so she will lose her baby, so she escapes again.

Anton tells the rest of the MC that the boss is robbing from them. A fight starts, the whole MC gets involved, in the middle of that he goes to rescue her and they end up fighting her brother and killing him, then they go back to her house, and found that her father stabbed her mother because she helped her escape, and she is almost dead. They fight her father, and she ends up killing him. After that her mother recovers, he becomes the new President of the MC, they have a daughter and they get married.

A few things that really bothered me were that after her brother brings her back, her mother gave her a cell phone with some numbers already there, so she can call her friend and Anton, but then she says she doesn't have Anton's number, even when her mother gave it to her. And when they are running away from her brother at the end, he shoots her car's tires and they have to stop, but after the fight they get in the car and go back to her house and they don't say anything about the tires. Those are the ones I remember, but I think there were a couple other things that didn't make sense.

A hold on love

Anton had no family but his brothers in the club. He worked for the respect only to have the president turn his back. The president's daughter Tory was kept away from the club. After she snuck in, Tori found Anton. Her parents refused any kind of relationship between them but they didn't care. After her dad finds out that that she is pregnant the only thing Tory can do is run. Unfortunately it means the whole club is after them and they have bigger forces to deal with.

This book is filled with a lot of ups and downs twist interns but in the end it was an awesome story.

No romance

Spoiler~ This book was action packed, and basically that's the whole book. There's no romance. They're running and nothing goes their way until the end. I just kept getting angry because the bad guys always caught them. Also, some things just didn't make sense. I don't want to give it away but this book just wasn't for me. Lacked the romance. The H and h never had time to really learn about each other. I gave 2 stars because it did hold me until the end but I almost stopped a couple times.

Not bad but wish for something more.

It wasn't a bad read. Most of my problem with the book was grammar and punctuation errors. It does have a lot of violence in it. I have to say it wasn't my cup of tea.
Anton and Tory met at a party that she wasn't supposed to be at. After her brother threatens her Anton takes her back to his place for the night. She realizes she likes him and after she becomes pregnant Anton will stop at nothing to keep Tory and the baby safe.
