This was a story of middle brother, Logan Gentlemen, and exactly what happened with him on the night the three brothers were separated. I loved the Hinders, rebel faction, and how they operated. The day-to-day life, their names and the missions they went were very entertaining and adventurous. The gadgets were freaking awesome!
Logan and Lucius together had explosive chemistry that resulted in heated encounters all over the place. There were moments of vulnerability that both men displayed, and required reassurance from both Lucius and Logan. I liked the humor, the camaraderie between the rebels and the secrets that came to light. They finally uncover what is happening with children that randomly disappear from dirigibles, and it is horrifying. While Lucius and Hinders break the crime ring led by the highest in society, Logan and Joshua finally get a hold of their baby brother Alex. They might have found their happy ever after, but for him it's only the beginning and it's going to get tough and ugly. I can't wait to find out what Alex went through and see him happy and reunited with his brother once and for all. Very good story!

Ahhh, hell yeah!
I love this series so hard. As hard as Lucius loves Logan in a rainstorm. Read it, it'll make sense, you'll love it. It's "bloody fucking brilliant". Thee two were delicious together with the perfect balance of love and lust with just enough feels mixed in.
I can not wait for Alexander's story, especially to see what the author does with he and Nigel. I have a real soft spot for Nigel and their story is not going to be easy, but that's what will make it so much better.

4.5 steaming stars rounded down to 4 mostly because still no 1/2 stars here on GR and because I loved this second installment in 'The Gentlemen Brothers' but I "LOVED" the first book so I felt that I needed to distinguish the difference somehow.
In the first book we found out how 'The Gentlemen Brothers' got separated and what happened to Joshua as a result and were left at the point where he was reunited with his brother, Logan.
Now, in 'Sex, Emergency Exits and Plan B's' we find out what has become of Logan and how he was rescued by Lucius the leader of the rebellion who is trying to figure out where all the children have gone.
As Joshua and Logan become reacquainted and realize that they are far from being on opposite sides of events. Logan and Lucius are discovering that their attraction to each other is not one sided for either of them and that maybe having someone to love in such uncertain times isn't the worst thing that could happen to a person.
Logan is one tough cookie and he's come through a lot, I'm glad he's got Lucius because I don't think either he or his brother Joshua have been through the worst of it yet. Things may seem crazy now, but the closer that 'The Gentlemen Brothers' get to finding Alex, their still missing brother the more things from the past are coming back causing disturbing facts to be revealed.
I'm totally loving this series it literally has it all for me. Action, adventure, romance, intrigue, sexy men, awesome world building and on and on...I can't wait to see what book 3 holds for us. We know it's about Alex and Nigel and from what we've seen of Alex so far I can't imagine that there won't be tears and rage.
Luckily for me book 3, 'Broken, Collared and Ready for Revenge' is loaded on my e-reader and ready for me to to enjoy...on Saturday, with a friend for my first buddy read of the new year.

Despite the need for handwaving in order to let go of all the things that shouldn't work and doesn't really make sense, I am loving this tale - and these characters. I can't WAIT to get to the next installment and hope the conclusion is as good as these first two were.

Part 2 of the gentlement series – not a standalone
This series is “bloody fucking brilliant”. It’s sexy, hot, funny, action-packed, fast-paced…Me brainbox is blown !!!
In a steampunk era, children keep disappearing. Joshua Gentlemen survived from such an abduction to become a detective and look for his 2 other brothers. But he’s getting to close to the truth and is being declared a traitor. He’s being saved by no one than his long-lost brother, Logan, who also survived the abduction by being rescued by the leader of the Resistance, Lucius. All of them are fighting to discover the truth about these disappearances and to bring back the last of the Gentlemen brothers, Alex.
As the plot is unraveling, so is the strong attraction between Logan and Lucius. And when they dare giving in to their passion, it’s hot, it’s really, really hot.
Next one will be about the damaged Alex and “one-nut” Nigel. Me review sounds barmy ? Read this series and your brainbox will get it.

Brilliant! I absolutely loved this book, didn't want it to end and I wish it was longer. This is the first book I have read by this author but now I'm going to go back and reads Joshua's story because I need more already. Can't wait to see what Alex's story brings, I'm already excited

This is the second book in Cox’s The Gentlemen Brothers series, and the books definitely need to be read in order as this story builds directly on the first. The plot thickens in this one, and the guys find even more clues as to who is stealing the children and why. I’m really liking the way this is all playing out, and how this part of the story is unfolding in a mostly believable way. That coupled with a nice romance, made this book a pretty good read.
It begins with the prologue, and it’s the same one we saw in the first book, only from Logan’s POV this time. While I once again found it a little choppy, it really got us into Logan’s head and let us know who he was, although he was only 12 at the time. The writing smoothed out as the larger story unfurled, and we really get to know Logan well. I like that he’s a pretty big contrast to his brother, Joshua (the MC of the first book). He’s got a sweetness, a shyness about him that totally works. I liked how he also had a definite backbone as well, and was fearless when Lucius was at his side. Logan will do anything for the man, not just because he loves him, but also because he really believes in Lucius.

Oh my, that was a sexy, hot and so, so, so, so amazing read, once started reading I couldn't put it away. But it's one of James' books, so I shouldn't have been THAT surprised about it *G*
Logans story is touching and really sizzling, just imagining Lucius seducing Logan in the thunderstorm...holy smokes! I love how they get closer and closer and finally...*sigh*
And not to forget the breakthrough for Joshuas and Logans chance to get their lost brother back. But what then? I just hope my fingernails will survive the waiting for the next book in this awesome series! I so can't wait!!
