By day, Owen Eldridge is an MBA student. By night, he takes off his clothes at an exotic all-male dance club. So far, being the only straight stripper at the Tool Shed hasn't been a big issue – but when the club begins to require full-frontal nudity, his forbidden fantasies amplify too much to ignore. Owen turns to a more expert co-worker for help understanding his cravings. Although Cooper Fulton is the club's unofficial big brother, his best friend outside of work is the puppy he adopted with his ex. He's unwilling to risk his heart again after their messy break-up. However, when Owen comes to him for guidance, the two men experience an irresistible attraction. As they explore their chemistry together, they both run the risk of getting burned. Will they trust each other enough to overcome their fears?Full Frontal is the second book in the Tool Shed series of gay romance novels. It has a happily ever after ending and can be enjoyed as a standalone or as part of the collection.
So here we have an author who knows the difference between "affected" and "effected" and uses them correctly, but doesn't know the proper uses for "lie" and "lay". An author who refers to a two year old Golden Retriever as a "puppy" and a "little guy", who doesn't plot timelines correctly, who has a character admit to being gay and then the other character continually refer to him as "straight", who uses the word "shuttering" when she meant "shuddering", writes things like "atop of a", who thinks a character will be afraid of gay guys making fun of him for liking dick (I'm sorry, what?)...
Do I even need to mention how Cooper half teases Owen about not being gay if he can't take it up the ass? And how when Owen tries to assure him he thinks he'll probably like it, Cooper says, "As long as we're going to get there."
Being gay isn't about anal sex, and the fact that Steele would make it about that, even half jokingly, is insulting and ignorant. Not all gay men like anal, even those who do aren't all versatile, and Cooper making it clear that it's a condition in his and Owen's relationship? Well, that made me dislike Cooper quite a bit.
"Owen had bottomed, and he had fucking loved it. He was definitely, certifiably, one hundred percent gay."
Quick. Someone notify those guys who don't like anal and/or bottoming. Let them know they're not certifiably one hundred percent gay. They should probably be informed of this development.
This wasn't really worth the time it took to read it.
This is the second installment in the Tool Shed Series. The Tool Shed is a strip club that caters to women only. The owner, Trenton, is trying to find a way to make his year old club profitable. In this installment Trenton tries what the title states, full frontal in an attempt to bring in more customers. Cooper has been at the Tool Shed since it opened and is the "big brother" to all the other strippers. Owen was the only straight stripper at the club. When the new policy is put in place he begins to struggle with his identity. He goes to the "big brother" for guidance and gets more than he expected. This installment was better than the first, but still seems to be missing something.
A tiny bit better than the first volume (which I gave 4.5 out of 5 stars). This had a better chemistry between the MC and I like the tension. :3 Both character were sweet and charming, Owen had his own "gay / out for you" touch, and Cooper was the big brother-type. I like this combination.
It was hotter than the first book maybe because neither Owen nor Cooper were such little brats like Ace. xD Also their relationship felt a bit more natural and their lifestyles not so far away.
So, 5 out of 5 stars. :)
And because I like the series, "VIP Room", the 3rd book with Lucas and Elijah is in my collection and will be read next. :)
I really enjoyed this story. The plot was well thought out and progressed at a good pace. The characters were well developed and relatable.
Owen is the only straight guy at the strip club. When management decides to go full frontal to try to fill the seats Owen is very uncomfortable about seeing his co-workers private bits. Cooper is the slightly older big brother of the group and tries to help Owen be more comfortable with the change. Owen starts getting sexually aroused by thoughts of Copper and then watches a porn site video of him that spurs on his attraction. Cooper has been attracted to Owen but I knows he is straight plus he will not date a coworker again. They end up experimenting and Owen realizes he is gay. Cooper is afraid to get hurt and wants Owen to come out before committing to him. Owen comes out to his family and co-workers and they get their HEA.

This is my first book from this author and I really wanted to like it. Owen was just so annoying and whiny. Ok we get it, you're a straight man stripping at a club for women with a bunch of gay men. It seemed that every time Owen spoke to his coworkers he had to remind them he was straight. But then it turns out he's not or not fully. That being said I did like Owen and Cooper together. Cooper, even though he was dealing with his own issues about dating a coworker, was good for Owen and they were able to help each other emotionally. I felt their story was a little rushed and the world building needed more development.

This is a steamy read. This is the second installment is this Tool Shed series. This is the story of Owen and Cooper. Owen is the only straight guy out of the dancers at the club. Cooper is the big brother of the bunch. Owen start to question if he really is straight and goes to Cooper for answers. Cooper doesn't date co worker as it ended badly last time. The only problem is he has feeling for Owen. As these two come closer their feelings get stronger. A enjoyable story.

Oh yes this book absolutely unquestionable over the top phenomenal. The interactions between Cooper and Owen speak volumes how they perceive themselves and each other. But holy batman when these two finally get there act together wow talk about full frontal try full five alarm blaze.

Well done. I enjoyed this coming out story that wasn’t all about drama and over the top angst. Owen was mature and beautiful and once his mind opened he was all in. Coopers calmness and big brother watchfulness was his perfect foil. Even though Nana had a small part her words of wisdom were spot on. I really enjoyed this book.

Cooper is into Owen but Owen is into women. Owen can't get Cooper out of mind. Thinking of Cooper turns him on. Owen makes a move on Cooper but Cooper thinks Owen is just curious. I enjoyed this book.
Short. Slow burn. Not great writing. Most of the other dancers seem like immature, drug-dealing, flamboyant gay stereo types, at least when they are in the dressing room of the strip club where they work. When they are working, they pretend to be hot for the ALL female clientele. That is many shades of messed up for me.
At one point, one of the characters say that they can't let the women know they are gay because women aren't into gay guys. Given the book I was reading, at least I got a really good laugh! Nope, we women folk don't care for "the gays." Not at all.
Cooper thanked the stars that he'd taken a chance on Owen.
I think I was all hyped with book one, Hard Wood that I was all set for book two. This one had nudity, a stubborn boss and one not so straight stripper who changes his mind rather smoothly.
Owen was a stripper by night and an MBA student by day. Unfortunately, he also happens to be the only straight dancer at the Tool Shed which garners him plenty of attention from the other dancers. When Trenton, the owner decides to take the club to another level, giving the men no choice but to do nudity, Owen is the only one who has an issue. "I just don't want a bunch of gay guys perving on my junk, I'm fine with it, otherwise."
Owen was like a forbidden fruit.
Cooper was considered the club's big brother. He got the guys to behave and gave advice. What he didn't do was become involve with his "brothers". One broken relationship has him vowing never to get involved with a coworker again. But Owen isn't one to be ignored and when Owen starts questioning himself, only Cooper can scratch that itch.
"I don't know anything anymore, I only know I want you."
One bite of the apple and there is no turning back. It's all in or nothing for both men and Owen is willing to risk it all in order to have Cooper any way he can, especially Full Frontal.

Owen and Coopers story "Full Frontal" is the second book in the Tool Shed series. Cooper is considered the big brother of the Tool Shed guys, he's always looking out for the others and making sure they're okay. He doesn't date his coworkers because he was hurt by his ex who happened to be his coworker at the time. Owen is the straight guy of the Tool Shed bunch who's always teased for not liking the "d". He's never been in a serious relationship and doesn't understand what all the hoopla is about. To him sex is not all it's cracked up to be he can go without. When their boss Trenton, who's a total jerk, tells them they'll be doing full nudity Owen is totally against it. He's straight he doesn't want to see naked men all night. Owen is very uncomfortable in this new role and becomes a little hostile and starts distancing himself from the other guys.Cooper trys to be supportive and make him more comfortable. But what Cooper doesn't know is he's been starring in a lot of Owen's fantasies ss of late. Owen's struggling with his sexuality and being around Cooper is not helping out at all. I understand Owen completely, it's hard being the odd man out. Its even harder when you're struggling with who you are and temptation is always iin front of you. I felt for both Owen and Cooper having what you want in front of you and being scared to try it can cause a person many sleepless nights. I liked the fact that we got to see the Tool Shed boys bonding outside of work and once again they kept me laughing. This book was fun and flirty and kept me laughing, I can't wait for the next one. Full Frontal is the second book in the Tool Shed series, and while it could be read as a standalone, it reads better as a series, since there’s an ongoing storyline concerning the club.
Owen has thought all his life that he’s straight, even when he hasn’t really found a woman with whom he can fall in love, but it isn’t until their boss makes them go fully nude that he starts to see one of his coworkers in a new light.
Cooper is out and proud, the big brother to all the guys at Hot Rods, and while he’s attracted to Owen, there’s no way he’s going to be some straight guy’s experiment, or is he?
I loved Owen! He was such a sweet, oblivious guy. I just loved the way he came to the realization that he wasn’t as straight as he’d thought and how brave he was about it all. Cooper was a harder sell for me, with his hot and cold routine. I understood his hesitance, but I wanted to shake him and make him see that Owen was so different from his ex. Although I have to admit Cooper got much better in the last half of the book, once he finally saw Owen for what he really was. Owen and Cooper had great chemistry and it was just great to see them navigate the start of their relationship.
It was great to see the rest of the guys from Hot Rods and to meet Owen’s nana, who was absolutely amazing! Go nana!
All in all, it was a good read, fast-paced and entertaining and I’m really intrigued over the next book in the series, since Elijah and Lucas are such an unlikely pair.
Yet another great M/M story from this author, the second book in the Tool Shed series will capture your heart and melt the cold with the heat going on within it’s covers. Amongst the guys at the Tool Shed, Owen is the only one that is straight. With the others all being either gay or bi, he feels a bit out of sorts. When he starts to question his sexuality, it is natural that he goes to Connor for advice. Only one problem, Connor has been lusting after Owen for so long, he’s not sure if he can handle it without screwing up their friendship. But Owen doesn’t want to take the hint, and these new and confusing feelings he’s having sure aren’t helping matters. When the rules change at work, the intensity of their lust and feelings escalate, pushing both of them to limits they never thought they would ever go to, let alone with each other. Follow these two as they discover the joys of exploring more than what just a friendship has to offer, as they expand the limits of their relationship together. And…lets not forget Nana! You go girl! Cooper works as a stripper at the club with Ace and Gabriel (from Hard Wood) and a bunch of other guys including Owen. Cooper is the more mature of the guys and acts as the group big brother. Owen, who has identified as straight for his whole life, is all of a sudden realizing that he is finding Cooper attractive. He struggles with it for a short while until he watches some videos and acknowledges that he does not find women attractive like he does Cooper.
I liked how there was a little bit of a dance between Cooper and Owen before getting together. There was definite attraction between them, but the book explored Owen's feelings rather than glossing over it quickly. Despite being interested, Cooper didn't rush right into a relationship and really encouraged Owen to decide who he was and what he wanted before taking their relationship to the next level.
I thought this was a great addition to the series. I enjoyed this book and look forward to the next one.
This is book # 2 in the Tool Shed series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader enjoyment and understanding of the series and characters, I recommend reading the book in order.
Cooper and Owen work together. Cooper is known as the "big brother" to all the guys that work there. Owen's thought are not brotherly at all about Cooper.
Owen up to this point has been straight as an arrow. Now, he is sure his feelings for Cooper are leading him in a totally bent direction. Can he convince Cooper that things can work out for them?
This was a fast paced and crazy good installment to the series! I was rooting for these two from the start. I enjoyed the heat between them and the sincere friendship that keeps them together. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

I really enjoyed this second instalment of the tool shed boys. Owen and Cooper were a good match once Owen looked closely at himself and Cooper decided to trust in a new relationship. I enjoyed the slower build to a relationship and t hat they were friends first. The chemistry was there in spades but there was also trust, friendship and love. The book was well written with plenty story development alongside the relationship. This book draws you further into the club and how everyone interacts with each other. I'm wanting to read Lucas's story and hope that is next. And Elijah is going to be involved I would say he is one of the boys I'm curious about. I received t his book free for an honest review.
*explicit content* M/M Owen is questioning his sexuality, especially when none of the women at the club excite him. He is not comfortable getting naked in front of the guys, nor the club patrons. Cooper is attracted to Owen and sees his hesitations for what they truly are. Cooper is very caring, but was burned by a horrible boyfriend whom he worked with at a previous job. He finds it difficult to fully express himself to Owen, leaving Owen confused by Cooper's actions. Their boss, Trenton, is looking for ways to increase business at the club and does not listen to the feedback provided by the men from the patrons. I see more trouble from him in the future.
Fooling yourself This is the story of Cooper and Owen. Cooper is the big brother of the group at the Tool Shed. Fist stripper to be hired there and likes to help everyone. Owen is the only straight guy at the Tool Shed. Or at least that’s what he’s always believed. So why does Owen get hard looking at pictures of guys while on muscles web sites. He keeps telling himself it’s because he wants to build his body like that. Well written, self-contained and entertaining story to read.
I loved book 1 and was so excited to dive into this book.... I was not disappointed!!! I didn't think this book could come close to how much I loved book 1 but I was wrong.... Full Frontal is just as amazing I read it in 1 sitting in a few hours... Full Frontal is the perfect kind of book for me.. it has everything I love to see in books and this series is fast being 1 of THE BEST series I have read this year...... I am now going to dive into book 3
This book had great potential, but it took way too long for these two guys to finally acknowledge their attraction to each other. Had to skip through the first half of the book before it became interesting. Oh yeah, flaccid naked "D"'s working a strip club full frontal was yuck. Nothing to ignite the imagination with that picture in your head. Just saying...
I liked the storyline. Gay strippers is hot and the idea that ones straight, even better! But I didn’t love Coopers big brother attitude. I understood it for the story but it still was annoying and I just felt his reluctance was pushed to make the story slightly longer. I’m looking forward to Lucas story.

I love love love this series. The characters are awesome. This book was amazing because the character had to find himself.. He had to change everything he knew about who he was to become who he was meant to be. I loved it so much. Amazing and I'm so glad I got to review it
Having read the first two books in this series, I am a big fan of A. R. Steele's writing. I'll be back for another before long. Lots of fun among the guys that work at the club.
