Ugh. I had such high hopes......
I love the premise of this series, but I'm disappointed in its execution. I know I'm in the minority, but everything is being TOLD to me. I'm not engaged, I'm not on the edge of my seat, the hot steamy scenes are not very descriptive or well done, and I honestly have no connection to any of the characters. As much as I want to find out certain things, I have no desire to continue.... maybe if curiosity starts to kill me then I'll consider skimming the rest, but for now this is being chucked to the DNF pile.

Awww such a terrific and sweet love story…I’m so thrilled Tyler and Cadence finally worked through their stuff. Tyler is so much sweeter and approachable than I thought he’d be. I really enjoyed exploring his character and finally understanding. Cadence is such a sweetheart yet shielded when we first meet her. I love how compassionate and competitive she is and how she was able to forgive the men so easily.

Great story.
These all come together, with the characters flowing from one book into the next. No, you don’t have to read in order, but it is nice to ‘see’ faces of ‘people’ you have come to ‘know’.

Good story
Deborah can write a story to keep you interested in. It never lingers on a description of a surroundings to fill in a story. It's always a right amount of leaving you wanting to find out what happens next. It was a good story with a good sexy feel and interesting characters.

I absolutely love this series. I think this just become to be one of my favorites series from Deborah.
I love Tyler and Dennis. The love between the two of them.
Besides, I felt like I wanted to choke that Maribel, she was drinking me nuts!

This is a good read. The sex is hot. Tyler notices Cadence in his kitchen, she does amazing work but she is a young chef. Of course Cadence notices the absolutely gorgeous chef Tyler Monroe but, also thinks she has no chance. She has a chance, a very good chance at love and happiness but first she has to get past the secrets she is keeping. Cadence does in fact have daddy issue. The story unfolds and is rather surprising in places. I recommended this series,I enjoyed it.
