i am SO mad and sad that the sequel got abandoned :( but this first part was great!! it had ships that i never considered and never imagined. it's literally an alternate universe, and one that i grew to like a lot.
This book was so good I want to give it five stars but that’s not Enough so I give it ✨10 ✨ Honestly everything was perfect for my taste , main and side relationships , The characteristics , the plotline and the plot twist ! Loved reading it , probably gonna reread it soon ! Wish the author didn’t drop the sequel though :(
The sequel got dropped and the writer orphaned all their stories, including this one, so I guess we'll never get all the answers for this and the sequel that was on a cliffhanger when they stopped updating :)))))))
“You’re going to get hurt!” Sirius cried, and grabbed him again. “I don’t care,” Regulus barked, tugging at his arm. “I’m his father.” “That is not your son.” Regulus turned narrow, angry eyes on his brother. “Yes, it is. That is my son and he is suffering. Let me go.”
“I have all my family’s memories of me. Of the old me. So I’ll know both him and myself. But I’m staying. And I think you’re a fucking bastard for what you did, for not saying anything. But the truth is, I’m also in love with you. So get your head out of your arse, Malfoy, and be worthy of it.” Draco reached up, almost involuntarily as he curled his hands into Harry’s shirt and tugged him close. “I make no promises, Potter. I’m a Malfoy after all.” Harry snorted and kissed him once more before pushing their foreheads together. “I suppose that’s just as well. Because I love you, and I don’t think I’d have it any other way.”
This was such a cute concept my heart hurts😭. Harry gets to have jegulus as his parents and for everyone who was lost in the war to come back? If I was Harry I wouldn’t have even considered leaving that reality to go back to the war torn real reality.
Regulus and James really made this fic for me. Especially Regulus, I’ve never read a father Regulus fic and I loved it sm. I wish Lily was featured more in this but I’m okay with that. I loved the connecting to the Potter Indian family roots. I also loved the little Tilly moments, Harry having a sister had me in shock. Wolfstar made me a little sad, I loved Remus but Sirius being distant from Harry hurt my soul. Teddy being unanimously adorable in both universes was so real! I loved that James and Regulus still loved past Harry despite him being a little shit.
I kinda loved Harry’s friendships in the au. Hermione being in Ravenclaw as Harry’s rival and marrying Krum at 19? Ate that up tbh. I loved that Ron and Harry are best friends in every universe. Cedric was a lovely feature.
Honestly, the Drarry was the thing that made me not put this as 5 stars. The fic has 10 chapters and it took me to chapter 8 to actually like Draco. Draco is literall some sort of sex demon until then because he literally pounces on Harry at every opportunity and I was literally gaping at the first mention of them. And you’re telling me that Draco knew the whole time about the au?😭I did love him tracing where Harry’s scar was and the ending so it was a nice resolution.
All in all, very cute. Stan jegulus, Wolfstar and Drarry!!
Sweet Drarry where Hermione is an unspeakable and sends to another timeline where Voldemort was defeated before he was even born. How different would have been Harry when raised by his parents and not having to kill Voldie? Well, the answer is a stupid man and a bad person. Enter Draco Malfoy to save the day ☺️
I did not expect to like this as much as I did but it’s an actual happy ending and so cute so I’m counting it on my goodreads. and I’m only a little sad that there isn’t a cover for it :(
how did they manage to smuggle angst into a fic where its virtually impossible?? had me almost crying when harry was talking about having no one in the other universe ugh. a bit too freaky for me, i read this for the first time when i was like 12, and it's not as good as i remember. love drarry in every universe though.
What if Harry was transported to a world where the Marauders — his parents — were still alive? What if Draco Malfoy was his casual hook-up in this alternate reality?
I have to convince all of you to read this time-travel drarry x jegulus fanfic written in 2016 RIGHT NOW. And here’s what i’ll say to draw you in: the ending of the first chapter was so jaw-dropping, i had to leave the room just to process it. I was SHOCKED. ok maybe im a drama queen who can’t predict plot twists to save my life but seriously lmao.
But it's actually sweet All the time you've spent on me It's honestly wild All the effort you've put in It's actually romantic I really gotta hand it to you, ooh No man has ever loved me like you do
This book opens with a tired and traumatised Auror Harry Potter, 1 year after the war, working through piles and piles of paperwork on his office. Hermione, who’s an Unspeakable, knocks on the door and she mysteriously asks him: “Harry, do you trust me?”
She gives him a blank parchment and says he has to sign it, without him ever knowing what the parchment contains, as it is charmed so only the Unspeakables can see the contents. Hermione explains that she’s trying everything she can to make the pain go away: the trauma of the war, the memories of their loved ones being murdered, the hurt of the losses. The years of sacrifice.
She doesn’t know if this plan will work, but it doesn’t hurt to try. So Harry takes a leap of faith in Hermione and signs the paper. She hands him a golden chain with a locket, explaining that he must not take it off until tomorrow.
Harry goes to sleep feeling very confused, and wakes up to someone kissing his thigh. He tries to open his eyes but there’s a sleeping mask on his face. Ginny has never done this before but he supposes it’s nice. The mysterious person that Harry knows is Ginny gives him a blowjob, and later Harry takes his mask off to discover that it is not Ginny, but Draco fucking Malfoy, that’s between his legs. Very much naked.
Hadn't thought of you in a long time But you keep sending me funny valentines And I know you think it comes off vicious But it's precious, adorable
Malfoy orders Harry to leave his apartment immediately, insisting it was just a quick hook-up, so Harry returns to his own flat. There, an owl delivers a cryptic letter from “Til,” telling him he should please PLEASE come home for one day—it would make his parents happy. Fear claws at his chest. His parents? As in… his dead parents?
Skeptical but desperate for answers, he floos to “James Potter’s house,” not expecting it to be real. To his shock, he is greeted by a very much alive Sirius Black and Remus Lupin. They eye him warily, unsure why he’s there, and why he’s behaving so… normal, so affectionate. Then James Potter himself appears on the doorstep, equally startled. How did dead people come back to life? What, exactly, has Hermione done?! And why do they look so apprehensive to see him there?
Harry, suddenly on the verge of tears, hugs everyone he loves. They’re confused but return his embrace with gentle pats on the back. They ask him if he’s drunk, for some reason.
Harry begins to piece it together: the Unspeakables must have altered time, creating an alternate reality where Voldemort died and his parents survived. But why in Merlin’s name is he supposed to be a bastard in this reality who drinks alcohol all the time and never visits his parents? No wonder the Marauders are so suspicious of him. Sirius says Harry hasn’t hugged him since he was 5 years old.
How does this story continue? That’s for you to find out!
You think I'm tacky, baby Stop talking dirty to me It sounded nasty but it feels like you're flirting with me I mind my business, God's my witness That I don't provoke it It's kind of making me wet
It’s not a perfect story. It honestly feels like a very good draft, almost finished, but rushed, as the author said that she wrote the story quickly. It is not a masterpiece, but it is SO GOOD AND SO BEAUTIFUL AND ORIGINAL. It’s short! Just give it a chance!
I loved this story so much. I’ve always wanted Harry to meet his parents — to find his way back to his family and finally get his greatest wish: the image he once saw in the Mirror of Erised. It had always seemed impossible, but this book made it a reality.
It was precious to see Harry reunited with the person he thought he’d never meet: his dad. And now he has another father figure in Regulus, since James and Lily apparently got divorced. Harry can hardly believe his luck, or his eyes, every time he’s wrapped in a hug from his parents. It feels so surreal yet so fragile, so flimsy, Harry has to pinch his arm to convince himself he’s not dreaming, afraid that he’ll lose everyone again any minute.
Another aspect of the story that I loved was Drarry. Draco is full of surprises. At first, it’s hilarious to see Harry so shocked about his casual hook up in this reality. It seems Draco wants nothing from Harry other than sex. But sometimes, Harry sees a flicker of something more in his eyes, in his gestures. His smiles. As if Draco knows him deeply, as if he loves Harry in a way that can’t be explained by their casual relationship.
“You really want me there?”
“As much as I want to kiss you right now, yeah,” Harry admitted.
“And how badly do you want to kiss me right now?” Draco whispered
Harry closed his eyes, and drew his face even closer. “Can I show you?”
“You really have to ask?”
SPOILERS: I love the fact that Harry tries to break things off with Draco bc he “wants to date the person he’s having sex with, and Draco can’t give him that”, and Draco’s like: bet? So he shows up with flowers and tells him they’re going on a proper date lmao. Draco’s like: you Gryffindor twat, you’re not getting away from me. Alsooo Draco being so afraid of fire that Harry starts to feel suspicious, bc Draco in HIS reality was almost killed by Fiendfyre. Draco touching Harry’s hair and tracing his scar, when Harry knows he doesn’t have a scar in this universe…. Beautiful.
SPOILERS. And oh dear god, when we finally find out the truth about the time travel. Draco changing reality and the universe to give Harry a family, to give him love… Draco being in love with Harry in all universes… I love them😭
actually legit not even capping i was so confused at the start bcs i didnt read the desc and it was a drarry fic but there was hinny at the beginning. but after i read a bit more i realised that HARRY WOKE UP IN ANOTHER WORLD WITH DRACO GIVING HIM HEAD WTF💀💀💀but i didn’t put the book down there. normally, i would’ve been grossed out but there was something in me, telling me to KEEP READING, so i did. i absolutely adore the fact that draco remembered everything as well, and i love marauders alive aus bcs WHY NOT<3 and i am just so happy that harry has finally gotten parental figures in his life that don’t just DIE YK!! i’m so happy for him and i’m so so so impressed by the author as they can keep the story going without me losing interest in it. my review lost one star as there was hinny in the front. seriously. i hate hinny. but not everyone can get what they want, right? but i still hate hinny

So cute!! Wished the ending, right after the resolution was a bit longer.. but I absolutely loved it ♡ Gotta say, at times I didn't care for the drarry aspect, I was more invested in the plot... it was brilliant! Kudos.
time travel fics are devastating in the best way. cried reading this one. it’s this heart wrenching dichotomy of seeing harry with his dead loved ones but not being friends with hermione and not having others who understand the trauma he’s experienced.
likes: the concept, portrayal of harry’s emotions things i hated but like acknowledge it’s part of the plot: hermione not remembering, lily not being with james / harry never meeting lily, sirius not trusting harry dislikes: other harry being so terrible (like harry at his core is a good person and it doesn’t make sense that a change in circumstances would make him so unloving), ending was a bit rushed
ugh i can’t read another time travel fic for a while, my heart can’t take it

Harry finds himself sent to an alternate universe where there is no Voldemort and his parents are James and Reggie. Remus and Sirius have a kid. Oh and Draco Malfoy is his casual hook up.
I really enjoyed this. It’s definitely very Harry centered as he discovers that this version of him in another life is actually not a really great person and he tries to make amends. There’s a little bit of a mystery aspect to it as we’re trying to figure out why he was even transported here in the first place, but I really loved all of the different relationships and seeing Them work together and be one big happy family!!
3.75 stars There was not enough of Drarry together, how’d they even fell in love. Harry being the only one in the know… but wait Draco was aware too and that’s a bit messed up keeping it quiet.
And then Draco always loved him, Harry, to the point that he fixed time?? Nope I’d have liked more of that, how’d Draco fall for Harry. I wanted to see them fall in love.
I get these are established characters but their relationship is fan made, so you need to show me. Plus I’m a sucker for a slow burn but this was not that.
im crying. this was so sweet. it got everything you need, cuteness, coldness, love, do-i-love-him?, building trust. its just amazing. ALSO it got drarry AND jegulus AND wolfstar. it doesnt get more amazing that that does it?
Ok, I could've gone without the "their tongues warred for dominance" but other than that, it was really good. The alternate timeline plots are always so interesting and heartbreaking.
It’s 3:57 in the morning and I just finished this. It was amazing. A tiny bit disappointed in lily though but glad at the same time because jegulus has my whole heart ❤️

Incredible. Sensational. I want another one just like it. I just love it when the marauders live! And Teddy having four parents gives me life. Why don't we all have four parents?
