The zombie Devdan couldn't even remember his name anymore, that is, until he was visited by the pet cat he had when he was alive. Now, along with Skeleton Steve's help, Devdan sets out with his long-lost kitty to remember who he is and find his village home. But how will he find the way? And what will he do if he gets there? I’m Skeleton Steve, Author of *epic* unofficial Minecraft books. I’ve been all over the Minecraft world of Diamodia (and others). As an adventurer and a writer at heart, I always chronicle my journeys, and I ask all of the friends I meet along the way to do the same.
My stories aren’t your typical shallow fan fiction. This is Epic Fantasy in a Minecraft setting with deep characters and a solid plot.
All of my stories are designed for all ages—kind of like how the Harry Potter series appeals to both kids and adults—and they’re twisting journeys of epic adventure! I tag them as for ages 8-13, but really, anyone can enjoy them. Many of my fans are teenagers.
I *really* appreciate all of my readers and fans who take the time to leave a review here and there! The feedback is really helpful, and you guys have offered many ideas to put in new stories, and I've used a lot of them! Some of the major characters (like Slinger the Spider, or Skonathan the skeletal swordsman) came from suggestions from you fans!
Smart kids will love these books! Teenagers and nerdy grown-ups will have a great time relating with the characters and the stories—everyone will get swept up in the struggles of, say, a novice Enderman ninja (Elias), or the young and naïve creeper king (Cth’ka), and even a chicken (Cluckington) who refuses to be a zombie knight’s battle steed, only to become a great hero herself!
Want to learn more about me and where I came from? Who I was before I became … undead? Make sure to keep up with my books whenever I publish something new!

I didn’t really enjoy this book, but my age group isn’t the targeted audience for this book. I know that this is an unpopular opinion, but I sort of like that books are being made about Minecraft. I feel like there’s a lot of kids who are addicted to video games, so having stories based on the video games they love might encourage them to read more.
As an intellectual and meme master I think this book is awesome. The zombie has amnesia and doesn’t remember his life before when he was a villager. His cat helps him out and he has a diary recording his past days and he keeps writing in it. He keeps forgetting the days before and has to really on what his book says. The book has no memes or Chungus which doesn’t make me very happy as a meme scholar but that’s fine. Carl the meme master signing out
This book is written from the view point of a zombie, I like that because of this it is a little repetitive because he keeps forgetting. Skeleton Steve and his new friend go on an adventure to find out who this zombie villager is, along the way he starts to learn to keep his memory and not zone out. This book is written well and interesting. I would recommend it to any Minecraft lover. I got a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest unbiased review.
