When Michael “Sixx” Gentry lost control of the beast inside, he walked away from the best thing to happen to him in 500 years.

Twenty-four years later, someone points out that Sixx has a doppelgänger. When he hears the man’s name, Sixx realizes twenty-four years too late that the best thing to ever happen to him had been pregnant with his son when he walked away.
Sixx makes the trip across the country to face someone more terrifying than any Gargoyle he’s ever come up against – the mate he left behind.

Desirae Rothchild, love of his life and mother to his son, is one feisty human. When she learns the truth of why Sixx left, will she forgive him? Hell, will she even believe him?

If Desirae were his only obstacle, Sixx might be successful in his journey. But when the Greek King is hell bent on seeking retribution, Sixx’s family is caught in the cross-fire. Sixx and Desirae must work together with the help of his Clan to save the one person who means everything to them both – their son.

Book 7 in the Stone Society takes you from New Atlanta across the country to California where you are reunited with familiar faces as well as introduced to new ones.

Faith Gibson's love of books started early on. So much so that she decided to write her own stories. When a college professor told her she had a gift, she took him at his word and put pen to paper (because back then, there were no computers. Shh, we don't mention her age.)

Her love of all things paranormal mixed with crazy dreams led to her first series, The Stone Society, about Gargoyle shifters in search of their mates while protecting humanity from unhinged beasts known as The Unholy. The Hounds of Zeus MC series was born from one of their own being a mate of a Gargoyle. The Rebel Moon Shifters are the next generation, all the kids from the first two series.

Faith also abbles in MM worlds and contemporary suspense, but her first and forever love is fantasy.

When Faith isn’t hard at work on her next story, she can be found reading, cooking, playing in the dirt (planting stuff) or playing with her staffy pup, all while listening to hard rock music.

I love, love, love Sixx! Once I started reading I couldn’t quit. I sat and read this book straight through. Faith Gibson with each and every one of your books I fall more and more in love with each of these sexy hunky alpha Gargoyles! I can honestly say that I am addicted to this series and it is so hard for me to wait until the next book comes out. When Faith Gibson started talking about the concept of Gargoyles as being the lead characters I thought she was crazy. Now I think she is a genius! Faith Gibson writes in other genres but, this series & genre are my favorite!

This is Sixx’s (Michael) and Desirae’s story and they have a son Desi. Sixx didn’t know he had a son for 24 years but, he sees a pic that looks just like himself and there the story goes on from there. I can’t tell you anymore you really need to read this book. But, do yourself a favor start from the beginning of Stone Society Series.

I loved Sixx and all of the Stone Society Gargoyles. I can’t pick a favorite because I really love them all. I give Sixx 5 + STARS

Flat, that's how I describe the plot, characters and everything else that pertains to this book. I am so disappointed, I noticed in her last book in this series, the banter between characters felt a little scripted, like someone was reading a newspaper article, I know that doesn't make sense, but her writing seems like a robot has written it and not a real sentient being. Ok maybe I'm getting a little nutty, anyhoo, Because I'm a sucker, I will give her next book one more try.

Gargoyles just moved to the top of my list as shapeshifter favorite. I love the chemistry between Sixx and Desirae "Rae". I love how Sixx can say her name in a certain tone and Rae knows the feeling or meaning behind it. I love the bond between Rae & her son, Desi. I love how close and protective the Stone Society Clan is of each other. All in all, really great read. I loved it!

I loved Sixx and Rae's story. They are my favorite couple so far. I'm excited for this series to continue. I can't get enough of these mates. Can't wait to see who the next couple will be.

Sooooo, I started this series a while ago and somehow out down after Jasper. I don't know why......... This story was so good. I love that Sixx is just kind of a laid-back Goyle who happens to also be a financial genius. When he realizes that he has a son and a mate, he sets out to make things right.

Desirae was a great character as well. She was a devoted mom but a loner. Sixx had bitten her and then left. She found herself pregnant and alone. She raised her son alone and always loved Sixx.

This was a "second chance" romance done right. I liked that there was really not a lot of drama throughout this book. Sixx was determined to win her back, and she was determined to resist.

I loved that Desi, Desirae, and Sixx became the family that they were all craving, and I loved that Desi found his mate as well.

I thought I loved Jasper and Raphael best, but Sixx has taken their place. I'm a gargoyle whore. Faith Gibson continues to entertain and woo me with these wonderful stories involving these shifters.
This book was exciting, suspenseful, action packed, and filled with loving hot sex. I can't wait till the next.

Good - read on KU

This book is pretty straightforward. We don't learn much new. We already knew about Sixx's mate and son. We do learn who Uri's mate is but Uri hasn't had a big role in any book to date, so we weren't sitting on pins and needles waiting to find out and there are three more books before we see his story. We don't learn anything about Sin and I think he has the next book. I would have liked for him to have had a much bigger role in this book.

Sixx has gone to California and Uri, Raf, and Kaya go with him to visit. Uri is staying a bit to work on the armory. Some minor things happen in Atlanta. Another Goyle's mate is set up for a crime she didn't commit. We learn the name of Alistair's hacker. We also find out about the hacker's mate.

We get the first POV from Alistair. That was good.

The story between Sixx, or Michael Gentry - his current legal name, and Desirae, or Rae, is the part that is straightforward. There is very little drama there. Even the new relationship with his son is pretty easy. There is one brief bit of drama but it is resolved without much effort.

I like all of the new characters we meet.

I did not like books 4 and 5 and have been pleased books 6 and 7 have been better. I didn't like book 4 because it was pretty much just a drama about domestic violence that could have been cleared up in two chapters. I didn't like book 5 because the couple was barely together and the whole bit in Egypt was boring and pointless. Books 6 and 7 have had a better balance of relationship and moving the underlying story along. They both were real page turners for me with the exception of maybe two or three chapters in each book.

There were a similar number of grammatical errors in this book as others. She definitely needs a better editor. The books could also be improved greatly by switching them to first person. Third-person romances are almost always too dry. No exceptions here. Although, this book wasn't as dry as the earlier ones.

I'm not a fan of second chance romances but because them coming together was part of a bigger story AND because this series is not romantic even though that is the intent, I didn't mind the second chance aspect. Generally, I like watching the couple fall in love but that has literally been instant for all of the males in this serious, a prior relationship is not much different. The unveiling of the gargoyle secret is the bigger deal here.

I've looked ahead to the blurbs for the rest of the books. I'm a little disappointed to see we'll be dealing with the hacker and Alistair or his replacement for some time yet.

2 Matings!

Sixx thanks to Matthew found out that he was a father (24 years too late) & has decided to go back to California & woo his mate back into his arms & try to bond with his son.

Desirae is a graphic designer who is basically a shut in as she hasn't aged one bit (or is it bite as that is what caused her not to age) & was tired of other people commenting on it.

Desmond (or Desi as his mom likes to call him) is a rock star legend & a year ago unbeknownst to him met his mate & transitioned into his gargoyle form; but didn't know what had caused it nor was he really sure what he was.

Simone met Desi once while working as a costume designer on a set for his band & was immediately drawn to him but, left when the job was done. But, she also kept up with what was going on in his life from afar.

But, all of them come together in this story as Desirae is Sixx's mate & Desmond is their son who accepts Sixx or Michael in his life as well as learns more about being 1/2 gargoyle. & Desmond with his parents & the help of others in the society finds out who actually is his mate & that's where Simone comes in.

After, they (meaning Desmond & his parents spend some time with each other, Desmond heads back to where he & his band are currently touring but he gets kidnapped along the way. However, you now will have to read the book if you want to find out what happens next.

This book was very good with it's good vs bad plot; with the sex scenes & with everyone in the Clan/Society/family coming out to California to help find Desmond. I will be starting to read the next book in this series later today.

So much better than I was led to believe

I read some negative reviews but I love this author so I went ahead and read it to continue the series. Let me just say that in my opinion those reviewers were way off. I loved it.
We not only get to see Sixx and his mate come together but his son may find his own happiness. We get to see most of the couples come together and pitch in when Allister causes trouble for Rae and Sixx.
Achilles, Katherine Fox, Julian, Uri and Banyon have their own bits in this story which will help us along when we get to their stories.
You won't want to skip this book.

Sixx is book 7 in this series and while each book could be read as a stand alone you really need to read them in order to get all the greatness that is the Stone Society. Each book in the series seems to get better and better and Sixx's story is no different. First of all his nick name Sixx is from 80's rock band Motley Crew, come on this Goyle is so freaking hot his nick name is from a rock legend! The action and emotions that he face when dealing with his mate and child make you feel and root for him. Sixx is in the top as far as one of my favorite Goyles. This series is a MUST read.

A rockstar half goyle

Michael HAD to go to California to get back in contact with Deserae, his mate and mother of Desmond Rothchild, major rock star. He wanted to be mated in full with her, but at least needed to warn her about Alistair and tell Desi what he was in for when he found his mate. He lucked out on mating, but Desi was kidnapped after he found out his heritage. He was poisoned and buried. The Clan turned out to search and with help from his mate, found him and cured the poison. But so much more happens in this book. Awesome.

Another Great Book from Faith Gibson

I really enjoyed reading this book which is the seventh one of the series. This was a really interesting book and kept me guessing on what was next. Sixx and Rae were definitely meant to be together that was a given. Lots of family members were written in the book and it was nice to be able to relate to each of them. Great book and I would recommend it to readers who love a good romance novel with lots of family, awesome shifters, and suspense of how it ends.

I so love this series.

When I stumbled upon book 1 in this series, many moons ago, I was hooked from the very start. Without realising it, I'd missed this release and the following two, but hey that has now been rectified quick smart. Sixx and Rae have a second chance at love and no two characters deserve it more in my mind. Faith has managed to seamlessly blend old style mannerisms into a modern world, entwining myths and legends into a story that grabs the reader by the throats and pulls them along for the ride. You could get away with reading Sixx as a standalone but I don't recommend that. You need the previous books in the series to get the overall feel for the background story and world that Faith has created. Great work Faith as always.

Loved this one!!!!

Michael also known as Sixx just found out that he has a son and a mate. He is worried about how they will react when he reappears in their lives. His son, Desi is a upcoming rock star. His mate, Desirae is a graphic artist. She is resigned to being alone. Suddenly Sixx shows up. Spins her world around and has to win her heart again. Great story. Love Tessa and Trevor by the way!!

I am loving this whole series! Sixxx is badass. Finding out he had a child 24 years ago with the only woman hes ever loved. Rae has no clue why she is no longer shows signs of aging. Desi has no clue what has happened to him. When Sixxx shows up after 24 years, will they get their HEA?

Each one gets better and better. Cant wait to read the next one.

I'm really loving where this series is going. You feel it all happiness, love, anger and sorrow. I'm so glad that Sixx and Rea found each other again after everything and Desi finding something he never knew about.

Fun

This one was fun. I was expecting more angst and I was not looking forward to it. But I think everyone reasonable realized that sixx was telling the truth and believed him. Loved the side stories cause I know that means more books.

This book was a little tame compared to the first six. Still a good story but a little transparent. Can't wait to read the next story.
