I don't use this reference book as frequently these days, but it proved its worth back when I was reverse engineering ICs. My copy is getting a little old, however it does cover the basics of ASIC design flows.

Although it comprehensively covers the ASIC design process and concepts, this book lacks the smooth flow that critically distinguishes a highly-rated textbook from a laundry list of user manuals and references.
