If Cleo isn't writing (or reading!) erotica, she's probably sitting on her balcony, watching the wind blow through the trees. She loves snowstorms, horses, and piña coladas. If she won the lottery, she would hire an assistant to take care of the technical side of e-publishing so that she could write all day.

Some random facts about Cleo:
1. Thinks life's too short to forgo HEAs and HFNs.
2. Sprained an ankle joining the mile-high club. (Never again!)
3. Favorite writers include Cormac McCarthy, Junot Diaz and Rachel Caine.
4. Gets weak-kneed for bookish guys who know how to fix things with their hands. *swoons*

Okay, I still do not like these three men.

Maisie from being personal assistant, nowadays she is working at the janitorial services of the building. How lower can she get? And this is something that her boyfriend Ethan suggested – not that the other two boyfriends had any objections.

During their date Raphael sings a song just for her, while later on they whip her at a barn. But they sleep with her afterwards, so I guess they are still good.

Well, I am not sure if these guys are doms/sadists, but they definitely suffer from bipolar disorder.

Anyway, I give one extra star because Maisie seems to enjoy the attention, she is not using her safe word and I suppose there are girls who have this kind of fantasies.

I started reading this as an in between book from larger novels without the intention of continuing the series. Also hadn’t realized it was a 3rd in the series until I was already partially through but I quite enjoyed reading this short story. I’ll be going back to the first book to start at the beginning and will continue the series.

Rougher sex, plotline twisting a bit more, relationships deepening...#4 looking promising. Author now added to my favourites. More surprises to come?

In the stables

Who knew how exciting a hay barn could be. For a smart girl she I don’t using her brain. She is thinking with her lady bots way to much.

Series: Lawyers Behaving Badly #3

Overview

Maisie's life is spiraling the drain. She wants to get her job back, but her rich, powerful bosses have ordered her to stay away from their law firm until things settle down.

Ethan Brennbach, Trent Banno, and Raphael Lattimore are dominant men who are used to being obeyed. Their decisions are final.

But when Maisie's college rival sets her sights on Ethan, Maisie makes a tough decision, knowing she'll have to accept the consequences.

Can she survive a punishment tailor-made for her, or is her pride too strong?

My Thoughts

Oh do things keep getting better and better here. We know that there's a case being built against the lawyers for the murder of one of their client's estranged husbands - and we don't know who is behind it all, but we know that there's a case being built. The complicated bit of course is that the deputy chief of police is the deceased brother, making it personal as well as an investigation into a death.

If that weren't enough, we know that Maisie was fired, and she's being questioned by the police as well - so her life just about sucks. Her 'frienemy' Heather pops up again, reaching out to get an intro (again) to Ethan, and that puts Maisie on jealousy high alert, so she does something that ultimately gets her into even more trouble.

The path we take in this installment is that no one knows the truth behind the murder and the lawyers themselves know how they can get their names cleared. On top of that, they've found that Maisie is almost the perfect submissive for them, and if that weren't enough, we get in this story EXACTLY what Cleo Peitsche is best at - some amazing group scenes that are so hot that they make you wonder if you should be trying out not just a threesome but something more. It's not just the steamy description of things, but the real connection that you feel between the characters - and how it's more than sex - there's romance and true love and feeling.

Where we are left off - well Maisie is yet again a pawn, with decisions of her future being made for her without her choices - and that means that we're going to see a spicy, feisty version come out for sure. I can't wait to see what happens and what role Heather will continue to play. I'm also really curious on Ethan's back story since that keeps on coming up and never with the say path to progression of the story. So - onto the next.

Quite annoyed with all the retelling as if the books can be read as standalone books....THEY CAN'T!!! This is a series and should read like one. We know the players so the story should just continue to flow but it doesn't. Maisie is a HUGE pain in the ass!! This is by far the strangest BDSM story I have read when the submissive is so sassy and immature.

I can't get enough of Maisie, Ethan, Trent and Raphael. With the chief of police breathing down their neck wanting to pin the murder of one of them. They have to figure out a way to protect not only themselves but Maisie. The keeps you on your toes. I meet more

Still not sure about the three main men in the books. Haven't really found anything to like about them yet.
