Never Going Back 3

Rate this book
It has been almost two years since Briana left Bryan and married Malik. Briana’s life has been amazing since marrying Malik, but she can’t seem to keep her ex off of her mind. She thought she had left her past behind with no signs of turning back, then Bryan returns and makes Briana’s new life complicated. Her declaration to never go back is tested when she realizes that her feelings for Bryan are still there.

Briana’s friend Imani is experiencing her own struggle with her children’s father Tyson. Since high school, Imani has only loved Tyson. All she ever wanted was for him to step up and be the man that she needed him to be. Although, at times, his intentions are to do right by her and the children, Tyson can’t seem to stay on the right path. Imani gets fed up with Tyson’s bad behavior, and decides that she is done and never going back, but things don’t go according to her plan.

The tables have turned

What done in the dark comes to light. Treat people the way you want to be treated. what goes around comes around. Never bite the hands that feed you. Don't punish the next person for what the previous person has done.

This...! My goodness! Just when I thought that Briana had learned her lesson from the hell that Bryan out her through, she had to go back for seconds (& thirds)... and ended up losing her life in the process. The entire series was a mess (in a good way). We all know/have known someone who's been in an abusive relationship, leaves (IF they're fortunate enough) only to go back to the abuser because (s)he has convinced the victim/survivor that (s)he has changed. Such is the case with Briana and Bryan. He held his inner beast at bay until she challenged him regarding his blatant infidelities. Then, the monster came out, in rare form. As is always the case, his lies were convincing enough to get her to stay/come back all while he continued to do what he blatantly lied about not doing.

*SPOILER ALERT*
I was disappointed at several points of the story:
1. When Briana started cheating on her husband with her abusive ex-fiancee (that was just a cruel exercise in poor judgment based off of the character's painful past experiences)
2. The way that Samar, the psychotic side chick of Bryan, just fell off the side of the earth after spilling the tea to Malik
3. Maybe I missed something but, because Briana was only a few months pregnant with twins, how were the doctors able to save them at the time of her death?

All things considered, this was a decent series filled with many plot twists and turns that I would definitely recommend. As my mom used to tell me, hindsight is always 20/20... However, recognizing this reality sometimes comes a little too late, which is why following our intuition beforehand is vitally important.

Wow

Nia Rich did a excellent job. She takes her time to write this book. Never Going Back 3 by Nia Rich is a excellent read. It’s well written and storyline is on point.

Friends can turn you emotions and enemies. You need to be careful who’s mistreated and disrespected. Briana has lost her mind to disrespectful to her husband and lied to her family and friends. She can’t leave her past alone. Bryan doesn’t know how to change his way to become a successful man. He’s play fired and disrespectful to Jade. Jade and Malik needs to wake up and pay attention the signs. My heart goes to Imani because she doesn’t deserve it. Cedes is acting strange and jealous towards her friends but she needs to get some help for herself.

I can’t wait to read part 4 of Never Going Back.

Good job:

I like how the author writes and makes you feel like you are right there witnessing the events as they are happening. I cried and cheered along with each female as if they were my besties. She wrong though for ending this book like that now I gotta grab book 4 asap.

👍👍👍👍👍

Once again, another book I enjoyed reading by a great author 👏👏! It brought me to tears at the end but still good! I don't know what Briana's deal was with Bryan but she truly messed things up. She was so wrong for what she did to Malik, but didn't deserve what happened to her! Again, great read ☺

Never

Omg!!! Briana and Malik. Bryan should’ve killed himself. He was obsessed with Briana. Not caring about the consequences. I was really hoping Malik and Briana made it. I’m glad the twins turned out to be Malik’s and not Bryan’s. Bryan has lost his mind. This is a must read sentence…..

Ugh...for somebody who is never going back, these characters sure stay entertaining the foolery. This was a good read but I'm ready for the series to be over and it looks like there will be at least 1 other installment.

Wow! Wow! Wow!

I’m not into sequels but this one was worth it. I didn’t see the majority of the twists and turns coming. But it definitely sheds so much light on the fact that what’s done in the dark will come it the you light... excellent read. I’m not a forever fan!!

What can I say? The ending took me quite by surprise!

This was a climactic ending to a bitter sweet story that is true in so many relationships. Remember if you are in a relationship and questioning whether you should leave -- then you have your answer.

Too sad

This was s long drawn out book. I finished it hoping something good would happen. It even ended sad, with someone that wasn't a main character!

Ok

The pov changed from narrator to first person to narrator within each character's chapter without any fluidity. The errors and erratic storytelling continues to distract.

Waiting on part 4

Okay Nia, you have done it again. I am so pissed at how stupid Briana is behaving right now. I understand that Bryan was her first love and all, but do you remember the pain that he has caused? Malik is a good man and she is going to screw that up. I feel so bad for Imani, and I believe that Mercedes is going to tell Malik about seeing Briana with Bryan...Nia please don't make us wait too long. Anxiously waiting for part 4

Drama

I am a bit disappointed in the turn Briana took. Hopefully, she is able to pull it together before losing her family. As for Mercedes, I'm not surprised, but hope she gets help before it's too late. And poor Imani, I just hope her tragedy doesn't destroy her. Hopefully, the friends find their truths and their strength.

Too Hard To Say Goodbye!

I loved this story because the author did the inevitable. Nia Rich you broke my heart!!!!! Loved this story. Bryan could not get over Brianna and would not allow Malik to be with her. Imani loved her best friend and would always make her proud! Grab your Kleenex with this one!!!!!

I'm Hooked

I'm binge reading! I've read one through three in 2 days. This situation is a mess for all 3 ladies, especially Briana. What's done in the dark will always come to light. Excellent read!
