2020 Read #16

This series (pleasantly) reminds me of CLAMP’s darker works (like X) and Yuu Watase’s Ceres: Celestial Legend — mostly just for feel and atmosphere alone. The story’s not the most original, granted, but it really spins into a twisted tale with the horror of what a deadly family curse could really mean. I’m looking forward to reading the rest soon!!

This series, man. Amazing. Love these characters & story. Art, not so much, but it's ok. I'm finishing the series really soon. :) hopefully in the next couple days. (Trying to put a major dent in my to-read shelf before I buy more books) this is definitely a manga worth reading. :) recommended for fans of urban/contemporary fantasy.

Series Review: Night of the Beasts was a short but very entertaining. The plot was unique and the characters had a surprising depth for the limited amount of time for character development. The ending was really heartwarming and perfect for the series. I recommend this to those who like the supernatural.

darkness enters the picture in this vol. i like the way Aria's shojo heroine imperative - to love the hero - is pitted against the moral imperative of protecting her blood relatives - all 4,000 of them. and there's no denying that sakura is a very attractive demon.
