During Steve Turner's work in schools and bringing up his own family, he has been fascinated by children's curiosity and how sometimes quirky questions can be quite serious. This is a collection of his poetry about big questions.
What a great collection of poems for kids and even grownups that don't take themselves too seriously. Very similar to Silverstein - the poems are silly and fun to read with simple rhythms, and have great illustrations to go along with them. They are grouped into sections around life's big questions and do not come across as preachy even though they are written from a Christian point of view. These poems are really enjoyable to read, especially at bedtime.
