Disconcerted by the politics roiling his campus, troubled by his widowed mother’s descent into mourning, distracted by a 3-way rivalry for the love of the elusive Didi, Chet, a 1980s-era college student, seeks answers by studying the great questions of truth, faith, love, and destiny. He is aided -- and hindered -- in his explorations by the newly-uncovered writings of an unknown Greek philosopher, Abontides of Samothrace, whose new-old insights make the young man's self-realization infinitely more challenging.
