I highly recommend this book. Although it's written in 2002 it still holds it's value today. I use this book quite often when developping concepts for cliënts (especially in the first phase, since the book contains lots of different viewpoints how to bring a message across).

Advertising monographs are largely void of much useful commentary. Advertising "how-to" books rarely offer help with the most difficult creative challenges in the form of tangible techniques that will LEAD you to great big ideas of your own. This book does that. Called "the kickstarter catalog", this section of the book is invaluable when creatives must translate a creative brief into actual creative work (print ads, commercials, etc). Essentially a clever list of questions to ask and thought exercises to embark on during a creative brainstorm or late night work session. This book doesn't give you the answers - it gives you the means to create your own answers. Highly recommended for students of advertising or those in advertising already wishing to become better at developing creative concepts.

I just love graphics design and it happened that I also like marketing. This book is great to say the least. I enjoy flipping the pages and be impressed by the creativity that is present in every page.

Advertising is simply a mirror of our society which is adjusted to viral tendencies. Creativity is about destroying the existing paradigm or overthrowing the established.

Nevertheless, this book was published in 2002 it has core ideas from the world's best campaigns that are used nowadays.

A good book for morning coffee.

This contains some hopefully useful tips for creative processes (which I might apply to practical later) with tons of weird but interesting advertisements. Also appreciate its attractive design. Highly recommended for advertisers.

It's a beautifully laid out and well presented catalogue of extremely successful advertising. It also outlays the psychological methods utilised by the advertisers which is very insiteful
