TALK ABOUT STEAMING HOT & OH SO ROMANTIC! I FREAKING LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!

When I thought it was impossible to love these characters any more than what I already had, I was proven wrong! Yep, I was wrong! SO WRONG! Mariah was a wonderful surprise. I knew I would like it because the story of these families is just that wonderful. Since being introduced to them in the first book Broken, I thought it would be impossible to top it. I really did, but again I am admitting I was wrong. IT WAS SO MUCH BETTER!

Mariah Hollander has had her share of tragedies. These tragedies shaped Mariah to the woman she is, both for the good and the not so wonderful. Mariah unable to trust while in relationships has met her challenge with Dr.Marcus Cannon but it's her ebullient attraction to Marcus begins the wonderfully frustrating love story of the two.

Marcus determined to not only be with Mariah but to have a future with her. A future that involves the word forever... Don't be fooled, Marcus has his issues as well. Issues that comes between their young and blooming relationship.

*Side note: Can he be real and can I meet him/attack him? Please? LOL, j/k. Wait, am I? ;).* Kidding aside, Marcus became so easy to root for. I mean, not only is he a Doctor but devoted to his family and so damn HOT! Trust me read the book and you'll see what I mean. A/C and fan are necessary. Just be warned!

Now, since we already know somewhat of how their story turns out (if you have read Broken), it's so much fun to see the back story. Their story certainly doesn't lack the drama and frustration that you may come to expect from these families. I appreciated that we are able to become more acquainted with the Harvey's. Rachel, Pops, Lisa, Thomas, Ethan and Nathan became instant favorites! Of course we got our Cannon fix in as well. Matthew & Joshua are still a crack up. And of course it would not be complete without Madison making her mark in the book! That girl! OMG! LOVE HER!

So why do I recommend this book?

1. The characters. They are hilarious, devoted, family orientated and downright lovable.
2. The story is addictive and leaves you wanting for more. It doesn't lack the drama and romance. It is worth the read even with a cliffhanger that is pretty darn intense.
3. This book could be read even if you haven't read Broken so don't worry. You wouldn't be lost if you started with Mariah. It's really worth the read. Promise!

In my mind, Ryanne Anthony has once again hit the ball out of the ballpark, only this time it was a grand slam!!! I am desperately hoping the cliffhanger concludes in Marcus's story. Until then, Ms. Anthony thanks for the wonderful story and I look forward to reading Marcus! Congratulations once again on a wonderful novel.

Wow what a ride! Mariah had me crying 2% into the book.

Told entirely from Mariah's point of view, this story had my emotions all over the place - happy, sad, angry, turned on. When Mariah first meets Marcus I hated him. Marcus can definitely win a stupid man award, but by the end of the book he'd won me over. Mariah is loving, intelligent beautiful and stubborn. But there were times I didn't think she was stubborn enough.

One of the highlights of this series is the large family on both sides. At one point I was very angry with Mariah's family because they felt like a bunch of know it alls, but they make the book so much fun. And I love the Cannon brothers, who wouldn't want to be married to one of them? The author gets an A for story telling.

The only negative about this book is that it is in desperate need of editing. I was distracted by the misuse of words (here instead of hear, insure instead of ensure), problems with plural and singular and other typos.

Mariah is book 2 in The M Series and I've already purchased book 3, Marcus, and I can't wait to dive in.

I read that Broken book and was thrown by it. I really didnt like it at first and I complained about it so much to a friend that she read it and the only thing she reads is street signs. She loved it and called me every name she could think of. So I reread it and I swear after this review I am editing my review of it. I get it now. I see what Ryanne Anthony was saying. Mariah is a better book than Broken. I laughed then cried and I wanted to shake my fists at Mariah a couple of times. Marcus too. I am definitely looking forward to Marcus book. Mariah's ending was so unnerving that I will probably drool on my kindle when I finally get Marcus. I so want to marry him. And Matthew. And Joshua. Ethan. Nathan. I love all these men. I apologize here and I will apologize again on my Broken review to Miss Anthony. Very well done on both books.

The ending left me hanging. I would have liked to had some guidance as to if there was another book in the series not jump to the end book. I would have liked to finish finding what happened to Mariah.

Okay Ryanne Anthony did it to me yet again. When I read the first book in The M Series: Broken I was floored by her style of writing and the way she can pull me into a book. In The M Series: Broken we met all the family. All the family returns in this book. I love this large, boisterous and outgoing family. The love each other so much and that doesn't stop them from sticking their noses into each others' business. The case in point is Mariah Hollander when she meets a very engaged Marcus Alexander. Their connection is instant but too bad he is engaged to someone else. What follows is nothing but amazing. This book had me laughing out loud, screaming and saying what are you doing, to crying tears of sadness and joy. This amazing author just pulls me in and I get so engrossed in the story that neglect sleep and don't eat because I don't want to stop reading. Mariah became my addiction and the ending totally wrecked me. But you will not get those details from me. Read this book, amazing author, characters come to life and I feel like family with them, incredible story, and finally you will regret this if you don't. The first book I was blown away and this book sucked me in and I never wanted to be found. I loved every part of this book and I am definitely putting on my read over list. Does this book deserves the 5 stars hell yes and then some. This book would get 10+++++++ stars if I could do it. INCREDIBLE AMAZING AWESOME AND STUPENDOUS BOOK, MUST READ!!!!
