Born in East Tennessee and raised on Cherokee lake, where he resides today, James Purkey found out two things early in life; that he wanted to help people, and he could tell a decent story. He eventually became a Critical Care Paramedic and sits as the Deputy Director of his ambulance service. He is married to a wonderful woman, has two great sons and the older of the two and his daughter-in-law, have given him two beautiful granddaughters. He grew up with a set of characters that gave him plenty of great times that allowed him to grow up and be a normal kid with a thousand tales to tell. When he was older, he began to figure out that telling stories for laughs or dramatic effect was one of the most fun things in his life, and it was only a short leap from there that he knew there was always something to write down.
WOW!!! Fast paced well developed book! This book will have you sitting on edge from start to finish! A diffident page turner! This is the author's first book and he is showing so much promise for more great work to come!
Normally don't read this type of book but I know the author and I purchased it for that fact. I ended up really enjoying the book and found it hard to put down. I hope to see this book become a series. I definitely want to know what happens next.
